Reaching out to them to ask a simple query, going thru their automated system was painful. After persuading the automated service to put me thru to an operator the waiting time was 5 minutes. Calling from the UK to the US, not cheap.

Annulation un mois avant le séjour – aucune solution proposée

J’avais réservé un appartement Sonder Court Square – Long Island City (27 décembre 2025 au 3 janvier 2026) via Hotels.com.
Un mois avant le départ, j’ai appris que Sonder et Marriott mettaient fin à leur partenariat, et que ma réservation était purement annulée.

Aucune solution de relogement ni aide concrète n’a été proposée par Marriott, alors que d’autres plateformes comme Booking.com et Expedia ont immédiatement trouvé des hébergements équivalents pour leurs clients sans surcoût.

Résultat : j’ai dû me reloger par mes propres moyens, pour plus de 500 € supplémentaires.
C’est très décevant de la part d’un groupe hôtelier de cette taille, qui aurait pu mieux accompagner les voyageurs impactés par cette rupture d’accord.

We stayed at Cadillac Hotel in Miami…

We stayed at Cadillac Hotel in Miami Beach (July 13–18, 2025) and had a traumatizing experience. After peacefully settling in with my baby, we were violently removed from our room after 11 PM with no explanation. Four male staff members entered and began packing our belongings — including my baby’s formula, diapers, and even passport — without consent.

The manager, Ludy Gonzales, falsely claimed I called earlier to request a room change (I was not even in the hotel at that time, and I have timestamped proof). They then moved us to a worse room where the safe, sink, and shower were broken. We reported it and were ignored.

This situation caused anxiety, fear, and disrupted our vacation. Hotel management has not responded properly. We have filed a police report due to the severity.

Do NOT stay here, especially if you’re a parent or vulnerable guest. Unprofessional, unsafe, and traumatizing.

They dont refund!!

Checked in 8 April in Mariott London Heathrow and had to pay £50.00 room deposit (after the room was already paid for by my work) I paid the deposit and they said it will be refunded as soon as I checked out. Now it is 4 weeks later and I am battling to get my money refunded. Will never book with them again.

Frukost ej inkluderad

Not a very good place

I stayed at the Aloft Ponce Puerto Rico. It was a privilege to stay there, so I was excited. I booked two nights but cut it short an left after the first night.
I was disappointed to say the least. I would not recommend this hotel.
This was more like a very cheap ( wam bamb- thank you mame) motel.

Das Unternehmen meint es müsse nur genug Werbung schalten um seine Geschäfte zu beleben.

Sorry aber ich hab keinen nerv mehr auf eure Rapist mentality... An mariott evtl ist nicht jede werbung gute werbung? Ich werde nen bogen um euch machen und ihr solltet euch mit Google in verbindung setzen und mal nachfragen was diese überpenetrante WerbeLieferArt bewirken soll und ob ihr evtl. die erbrachten Leistungen einklagt. (Kann mir nicht vorstellen das es vertragsgerecht ist die werbekunden/opfer/ziele so permanent mit nur einer Werbung zu bombadieren das diese(ich) tatsächlich ne Rezension verfassen....

Danke Goolge und Danke Meriott zwei weitere Unternehmen die mein Geld ganz offensichtlich nicht brauchen ....

Jag skulle köpa ett glas vin i baren…

Det här gäller Courtyard Mariott på Rålambshovsleden i Stockholm. Jag skulle köpa ett glas vin i baren och deras kortläsare fungerade inte, han försökte flera gånger. Han säger då "har du verkligen pengar på kontot för transaktionen nekas" så säger man INTE till en kund. Det var inte bara mitt kort som nekades, utan min kollega gick det inte heller igenom för. Till slut fick jag Swisha och då gick det. Hans attiyd var under all kritik, så behandlar man inte en kund. Jag kommer aldrig gå dit igen och kommer berätta för alla hur bemötandet var.

Liars

We arrived on Monday. We booked our stay through a travel agency and already paid for the stay. We had a voucher and was supposed to stay in a two bedroom apartment. When we arrived the desk clerk said that our room was cancelled but that we could get two smaller rooms instead. We called our agency and they talked to them. We also asked the desk clerk numerous times if we had to paid extra. Every time he said "no your rooms are paid for. You only has to pay a deposit of 50 euros on each room."
When my husband cheeked out the desk clerk said that we had to pay extra, he didn't say what amount or for what. Off course my husband refused and told him, what they said on Monday when we arrived. We went home and to my horror I can now, 3 days later see on my bank statement that they have withdrawn a large amount of money from my account. I don't have a bill, a receipt or anything since they didn't give my husband that, probably because they know that we would have contested it, or blocked my card. So now they have actually both lied to me and my husband and stolen a large amount of money from me. I will never ever stay at a Marriott again.

I stayed in mariott group of hotels renaissance at heathrow. Hotel is in a good location easy access to terminal 2. Check in experience was fab as a very helpful and polite gentleman. Bar 11 was great too! My check out experience wasn’t too good. I found the gentleman cashier number 7805 was not friendly and appeared to be tiny bit argumentative when I tried to explain regarding prebook taxi at check in. I found bit of abruptness which really paints dim picture on hotel chain like renaissance. There was another gentleman at reception who helped me eventually with the taxi. Hotel need to make proper provisions for training of staff for a friendly approach.

hotel miami beach, what an incredible hotel. Nothing but really nothing is what it seems. What a fake people who work there. The list of problems is too long to mention here. Never again the Mariott

Worst experience ever!

Absolutely dreadful experience. They couldn’t find our reservation to start with and then we were hit by extortionate car park charges. Can things get any worse we thought? Oh yes it can….they charge you to use their wifi!!! We will NEVER stay in a Mariott again. Complete and utter rip off. Avoid like the plague!

A pathetic digital experience

A pathetic digital experience. I have been trying to login to my Bonvoy account for the past one week , but they are not allowing me to reset the password. I receive the e-mail after 5 to 10 minutes and when I click on the link to reset the password it says. "The link to reset your password has expired. Please resubmit your information below or call 801-468-4000 for help"
This is an unbeleievable customer experience

Had to pay for the internet which was…

Had to pay for the internet which was shocking...

When I paid for the internet it kept cutting out on me during my business meeting. Then I had to call the front desk to upgrade the wifi and get the better one so it didn't cut out. After upgrading the wifi it kept cutting out.

Completely embarrassed during my meeting with my customers. Will never stay at the Mariott again. Wifi should be free and easy for customers to work with.
