Excellent professional treatment. The course of treatment i received from Marple Physiotherapy has been wonderful. I give Marple Physio the highest recommendation possible. The treatment was focused on my knee however they took a holistic approach over a three month period. In my last appointment I was given a great set of exercises to continue the good work.

I went to a physiotherapy with Cath Normansell, who ruined my life. I had some pains in the joint between my neck and my head (only), which I went to treat. After her therapy I ended up with severe pain all over my neck for many months, and my life became very restricted. I couldn’t lift my hands up, carry a shoulder bag, hold an umbrella, do vacuuming and writing or other basic things without terrible pain. I had to stop yoga classes (and I have been doing yoga for decades without a break). My neck still hasn’t fully recovered.

Superb physio. Brought me back from both a wrecked shoulder and wrecked knee on two separate occasions. Treatment and advice is superb. Highly recommended.

I went for physio thinking my knees were on the way out and was swiftly told there was nothing wrong with them and my back was the problem. After 3 visits and a course of exercises to keep on doing I’m a hundred times better and so happy I made the decision to seek professional help, liz explained everything about what was happening and I’m so relieved to have had it sorted out so quickly.. top marks!!

I received fantastic service from Marple Physiotherapy and my physiotherapist Nicky. The causes of my hip injury were investigated and clearly explained, and I was given several recovery exercises to follow. All in all a very rigorous, personable, and tailored experience. Would highly recommend.

I was treated for a chronic calf injury which had stopped me from running. Nicola successfully diagnosed the problems and delivered numerous treatment options which have ultimately resulted in my being able resume my physical training regime. Would highly recommend.

Excellent physiotherapist. Liz takes a full history, listens to and also asks questions regarding your issues. She will then work on a programme to target your problems and keep reviewing this according to your ability as you improve. The whole practice is very polite, welcoming and professional and I have always had excellent and quick appointments whenever I have needed to be seen I would definitely recommend this practice.

I really cannot recommend this practice highly enough. After two years of chronic pain, I am finally on the road to recovery, thanks to the help of the physiotherapists at Marple Physio. I also had my first video consultation appointment with Nicky yesterday, something the practice has introduced now face to face appointments are not currently possible. I was unsure how a video consultation would work, but I found it to be extremely useful. I have been experiencing a flare up of symptoms over the last few weeks, and Nicky did a fantastic job of suggesting exercises and movements I could use to help with them. She demonstrated moves, observed how I was moving, and I feel confident I now have some new things to try, to help relieve symptoms. I would definitely recommend a video consultation, to anyone wondering if it might be helpful.

Troubled by my knee for a significant period of time - I was introduced to Liz who took time to ask me questions on how I used my knee, what the impact was on my ability to perform certain tasks / lifestyle / pastimes / hobbies etc - and after this consultation gave a me a very technically sounding diagnosis (then put this into words I could understand, which brought the cause to life) proceeded with a massage, a set of exercises - with demonstration and I have to say, have had a lot less pain since this consultation. I would highly recommend Liz and her team.

I really enjoyed my classes at Romiley. My physique has improved since joining and Nicola is very encouraging.

I attended the pre and postnatal pilates classes with Nicky, and would really recommend. The antenatal classes assisted with my mobility towards the end of my pregnancy, especially with tight hips.

The postnatal classes helped with a sore back due to spilt stomach muscles. I would definitely recommend the classes for any ladies who are experiencing discomfort during and after pregnancy.

The classes are physio based and Nicky provides one to one assistance advising exercises for particular aches and pains.

Nicky’s Pilates classes are always carefully planned and interesting. She is supportive of individuals and makes the purpose of the different exercises clear. I would definitely recommend the classes. The

I have been attending the Romiley Pilates class for a few months now. I’d never tried Pilates and was a bit scared but I need not have been. The class is really friendly and inclusive. Nicky is very approachable but professional and the classes are always fun and easy to follow. Particularly good if you’ve had an injury or particular mobility issues. Highly recommended.
