Great job at a fair price !! We had no water pressure in our flat, the plumber arrived on time, realised the issue was lack of water pressure from the Central services area in our block of flats, sorted it, cleaned all the insides of the taps, and was done within 30 mins.

there was a brief delay in getting the work started but I cannot fault the excellent workmanship and communicaiton with MasterFix.
The builders and personnel that carried out the work were efficient, professional , punctual and created an excellent customer experience. A good experience after a bad flood in my home which Masterfix restored.
There was great communication and Gintaras helped join all the dots up towards the end.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience over the past five weeks compels me to warn others.
1. £110 Call-Out Fee, No Diagnosis
An engineer arrived, said almost nothing, and left within minutes. No quote, no explanation—just a £110 bill.
2. Three Weeks of Silence
I chased updates repeatedly. Each time, reception promised a call-back that never came.
3. £160 Upfront for “Replacement” Parts That Didn’t Exist
When someone finally responded, I was charged £160. Two engineers then admitted they hadn’t brought the correct cartridges and left.
4. Another Two-Week Wait, Another £120 Demand
I was told to pay a further £120 for “parts and labour.” Desperate to get the taps fixed, I agreed.
5. Incomplete Repair and New Damage
During the second visit, the engineer replaced the cartridges—but removed my basin’s pop-up clicker and a component from the kitchen tap. I discovered both only after he’d gone.
6. £285 Invoice for Problems They Created
The next morning I received an unsolicited invoice for £285 to “repair” the very damage their engineer caused—work I never authorised.
Bottom line: I’ve paid £390 so far, my taps are still faulty, and the company wants another £285 to undo their own mistakes. Save yourself the money, time, and frustration—use a reputable plumber instead.

Multiple negative experiences dealing with masterfix as a tenant, not keeping to time frames, being unprepared with the right equipment, terrible communication.
Couldn't find where a leak was coming from for 2 weeks ... was the MAINS pipe bursting. Sent 4 plumbers. Then said it was fixed after one tightened the radiator pipes and after we noticed the entire ceiling was to collapse, then finally someone else uncovered the water was still flowing.
Then were asked for roofing works. Gave a quote. We agreed and put scaffolding. Two weeks passed with no one showing up to start works. Then they turned back saying actually the quote had to be revised and asked us for 4 times the original quote. We rejected. Scaffolding sat there for weeks on end, no one picking it up. Eventually they picked it up and still asked us to pay for it ... This company is a SCAM!!!
Insurance reinstatement in Scotland (Bathgate office). 2.5 years since claim, during which Masterfix have been onsite for maybe 5-7 days. Work incomplete. No response when I email or telephone. Build quality is okay but they seem incapable of execution (and communication)
Absolute sham of a company, no idea how they have clients still. They cannot fix anything ever and you just get charged for the fallout fee “can’t fix it, you need to call a specialist”. But the price is the same!!!! Honestly shocking - avoid at all costs!!!
Materfix are supposed to provide help in an emergency for the over 1200 residents at Oaklands Rise NW10 in London.
Again, we are left without heating and hot water. Since the 4.10.2022 (start of Yom Kippur), all through the 5.10.2022 (Yom Kippur, holiest religious feast and day for all Jews), and still ongoing, there is, once again, no heating and no hot water.
This is what we were provided with:
"In the case of an emergency, outside of working hours (5:30pm to 8:30am) and weekends, please could you call 020 8742 4152. This will take you through to Dexters answer phone, which will provide you with contact details for our out of hours contractor (Masterfix) who will be able to assist." When you phone the tel no, you do not get through to Masterfix. No one answers. There is an answering machine and the call just drops.
This is how the Masterfix emergency helpline works. The last time we called the Masterfix emergency line, months ago, a rude woman answered, and refused to help us and slammed the phone down.
Master fix repaired my roof to an absolutely terrible standard. They replaced the plaster in my ceiling after a leak. There are tools marks all over the new plaster. When I asked about this I was told this was pre-existing. Which is not physically possible as they replace all the plaster in that part of the ceiling. Do not trust them to complete the work properily and their 2 year guarantee is worthless.
