Premium price, but the quality is like a horse’s feed bag.”

At the beginning of February, I bought a pair of black jeans from the Mavi Black series at the Topkapı Mavi store, trusting the brand’s claim of “quality,” and paid a high price of 2000 TL. I regret buying it; it feels like I literally threw my money away.

The process went as follows: When I wore the pants after the first wash, I noticed that the fabric behaved almost like a “magnet.” It quickly collected all the dust, lint, and hair around it, and no matter how much I cleaned it, it never seemed to stay clean. Moreover, noticeable pilling and clumping began to appear in certain areas.

When I went to a Mavi store to ask about the situation, even the employees who saw the pants said that this was not normal and that there was clearly a problem. They suggested sending the product for inspection. Following their advice, I sent the pants for technical inspection through the Trump Towers store.

However, just 2–3 days later, I received a message stating that “no defect was found in the product.” At that point, I was seriously disappointed. Considering how obvious the condition of the product is, I can’t help but question whether a proper and detailed inspection was actually carried out.

I would like to clearly state that if I had bought a pair of pants from a local market for 200 TL, the fabric might have been better than this 2000 TL “Premium” series product. In the 1930s, people had to make clothes from flour sacks due to lack of resources; the experience I’m having now honestly makes me think that even the conditions of that era might have produced a better result than the Mavi Black series today.

As a result, Mavi has lost my trust. I have not seen a brand that truly stands behind its product or genuinely cares about quality. I definitely did not get the value of the money I paid, and I am sharing this experience publicly so that others do not face the same disappointment. For me, Mavi has become a serious regret.

I was a customer for years, but not anymore

I’ve been a Mavi customer for years, but this experience has ended that relationship. I contacted customer service regarding a clearly defective pair of jeans and provided multiple photos and order details. Despite extensive back-and-forth and escalation to a VP, Mavi refused to issue a refund or store credit unless I returned the defective item, even though it was unusable and clearly documented.

The only resolution offered was a 30% discount on a future purchase, which does not address paying for a defective product. The process was rigid, dismissive, and unnecessarily difficult. Very disappointing customer service experience.

T-Shirt ist viel zu dünn

Ich habe im Einzelhandel ein weißes Astrology Printed T-Shirt in weiß gekauft. Es sieht toll aus. Aber später stellte ich fest, dass der Stoff so dünn ist, dass man alles darunter sehen kann. Von der Qualität ist es nicht besser als Shirts von kik, Takko und ähnlichen Billigläden, nur teurer.

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht vom…

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht vom Kundenservice bei Mavi. Ich wollte lediglich eine Information zur Sendungsnummer meiner Bestellung erhalten, aber niemand konnte mir weiterhelfen. Es wird alles nur aufgenommen und mir wird jedes Mal gesagt, dass der Fall weitergeleitet wird und sich jemand bei mir meldet – doch es meldet sich niemand.

Ich warte immer noch auf meine Ware, obwohl es ein Geburtstagsgeschenk ist und innerhalb weniger Tage geliefert werden sollte. Jetzt ist bereits über eine Woche vergangen, und ich habe immer noch keinerlei Informationen.
Sehr schlechter Service und wirklich frustrierend.

Jeans von mittlerer Qualität - aber schnelle Retour

Ich habe 6 Jeans bestellt und leider nur eine behalten. Die Retour ging schnell, kostenlos und unkompliziert, habe mein Geld sofort zurückbekommen - verstehe die vielen schlechten Bewertungen diesbezüglich nicht.
Allerdings sind die Jeans weder besonders gut geschnitten noch von besonders hochwertiger Qualität - und dafür recht teuer.

Waiting Game, No Delivery

Ordered jeans on April 16, 25 from Mavi Jeans EU. Today is the 24th and no updates. When I contacted them, was informed "The delivery time is currently 14 days. If your order has not been dispatched by 30.04.25, please contact us again." This information is not available or communicated anywhere. They must be waiting for each item to be shipped from China. There are better options out there - stay away from Mavi.

Garbage

Garbage. Jeans had two giant holes in lower area and continued to grow (in less than 2 years). I contacted customer service and they wanted basically a 5 page report before doing anything. Jeans are not consistent and fade quickly. Keep your garbage in Turkey!

Shocking quality golf shirts

Shocking quality golf shirts. Looked nothing like in their ads. Literally cheap polyester colour dyed on only one side of the fabric. I contacted them at least 20 times to refurn and get full refund as promised and they just send automated responses saying in have to return the products to manufacturer in China before they refund. DON’T GET CAUGHT LIKE I DID!! Its a drop shipping scam.

Ich habe 2 Artikel zurückgegeben und nur einer wurde mir erstattet. Beim Service habe ich das reklamiert und das Ticket wurde ohne Antwort geschlossen. Telefonisch ist uach nichts zu erreichen. Diee rfirma hat nicht mal 1 Stern verdient!!!

Bogus returns policy?

I mistakenly ordered two of the same product and was assured by a Mavi rep (bot?) via email that it would be no problem to return the duplicate. When my products arrived (a month later!!) I was re-directed to a different email address in order to "request" return shipping instructions for a refund. I supplied all the customer details they asked for, and understood that I would bear the cost of the shipping (despite the fact they call themselves Mavi-Capetown - where I live - it turns out they are shipping from China) To date I have not received any further communication from Mavi about how to return the product. Quick to take your money, impossible to reach afterwards. Dodgy.

Dissapointed

I ordered a jeans jacket and waited one week, but got no track and trace. I contacted support and they responded the next day that my order ‘could not be shipped due to a technical error’. I got the money back, but don’t say on your website that you can ship to the Benelux! I’m dissapointed.

Very bad experience

Because other well known websites offer products by this brand, I confidently ordered Jeans from the Mavi Europe website mid February. Never received the item and customer service stopped reacting to my emails (after only one short reply, a month after ordering, asking me to be patient...). I have only just now received a refund after intervention by Amazon Pay. This seems not to be a serious company.

Very bad service

Very bad service.
Did deliver the order items only partially. Did not pick up the phone or reply to emails for weeks. Eventually they replied and I told them I wanted to cancel the whole purchase. They did not want to take any responsibility and said the return to Germany was at my own expense. Never buying from them again.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. I placed an order one month ago in their online shop in Europe. Nobody is replying to my emails and now they just said "Your order had to be canceled due to technical reasons" - no apologies, nothing!!!! After waiting for ONE month! Huge disappointment and such a lack of professionalism. I will never order from them.
