1 1/2 hours for tire rotation because the tire jockey did not know the difference between aluminum and steel. He then made up for it by moving like a 3 toed sloth. AND he did not get the tire pressure... Ver mais

2 year old dry rotted tires sold as new
Bought tires for my trailer in November 2025 at NTB the Alvin Texas location. Hauled my tractor to the shop this week less than 10 miles and got a flat. Took the tire to the Alvin location and asked them to look at it. The associate was really confused asking how what make ,it’s a loose trailer wheel and tire. He asked how many miles are on the vehicle, again, it’s a loose trailer wheel and tire. He said take it to the shop and he would meet me. I waited for about 10 minutes and finally went back inside and asked if he had forgotten me? He said I should have given it to one of the shop guys. I said you told me you would meet me outside and he said he was busy doing three things? He told me he didn’t like my attitude and maybe I should take my business to Discount Tire and he had the right to refuse service to me?
Went to Discount tire and discovered the tire had failed because the sidewall was dry rotted because the tire that I purchased in November 2025 was over 2 years old. They sold me tires that were old and dry rotted.
Discount Tire replaced that tire for free even though they had no responsibility for my being ripped off by NTB! I went and picked up the trailer and sure enough, the other 3 tires were dry rotted and I paid to have them replaced so I could use my trailer with fear of tire failure.
I will never spend another penny at NTB and will continue making everyone aware of their deceptive trade practices and extremely incompetent and rude employees.
REPORTED MY EXPERIENCE TO NTB CORPORATE CONSUMER AFFAIRS WHO BASICALLY SAID THEY SELL TIRES UP TO 3 YEARS OLD AS NEW TIRES? CHECK THE DATES ON TIRES SOLD BY NTB!
Thank You Discount Tire in Alvin Texas for your going above and beyond what I expected. I have a long history with Discount Tire and only went to NTB because my trailer had a couple flats on a Sunday and Discount Tire is closed.

Flat Family Reunion
Drove into town, Santa Fe, for a family reunion from Pflugerville and thanks to debris on 35, I had an unexpected flat tire. A cousin towed me to Mavis in Alvin. Asked the manager if the knocking sound in my car was because of the tire and he said he would take a look. I really thought this dude was going to try and rip me off, but to make this short - I was low on oil in addition to the flat. I got two new tires - all that I could pay and an oil change. The mechanics were nice and explained everything to me. The manager (Byran) made sure I got the service needed. Made it back home safely :)
