During the Covid-19 pandemic we've introduced a number of changes to our business. We've endeavoured to keep most of our branches open, but some have had to close, apologies if this has caused an inconvenience. In every open branch we have reduced staff numbers to ensure social distancing is adhered too, we have also closed public areas like waiting rooms. We're encouraging customers to book and pay online to reduce the amount of personal contact required in-branch. We are also prioritising emergency and essential service vehicles. With this in place turn around times might be affected, we might be slower to answer phone calls or deal with drive ins. These are difficult times for all of us and the team at McConechys are trying to hard to provide a service, we appreciate your understanding and patients when required. kilmarnock branch for 4 tyres through black circles... asked that front offside tyre AND wheel be kept for spare...youve guessed it took off ALL tyres and didnt change spare in boot!!! surely the first thing you do is listen to the customer!! Or ask if not sure!! Was then told there would a cost to put spare on SPARE wheel... i replied 4 tyres on 4tyes off.. but i have to pay cos you didnt listen, was told "i dont have time for this take it up with Black Circles" Really!!OK

Fantastic service
Excellent service.....leaky valve on a 4.5 t motorhome...went to the Thurso branch....they had the correct high pressure valve to replace it.....repaired immediately....no waiting....thanks guys

Took my van down to elgin branch of McConachys as back tyre was loosing pressure
Young guy sprayed fluid on tyre and checked for leaks couldnt find any
Took it to national tyres for second opinion and guy found problem straight away
Massive bulge in the inside of tyre
For a company that specialises in this to miss this problem is beyond a joke
Certainly won't be going back for any buisness

I was on holiday in Thurso and got a puncture on my brand new car. They didn't have a true to fit my car but went out of their way to source one and get it delivered in one day. I can't thank them enough ,all the staff we so friendly and helpful

Keep clear
Had work done at Lockerbie damaged wheel got told will get area manager to sort it out still waiting and work caused more problems than fixed addition to post got told in response to this post they are investigating 2 weeks later still waiting

Fantastic mechanics in Largs depo explained everything to me clearly. Really happy with the work carried out. The only thing that let them down was their manager. The way he spoke to the staff and undermineded them when they were speaking to customers was unbelievable. The staff seemed more clued up than he did. Managers are suppose to work together with staff not try and turn them against each other.

Easy online booking and payment. Staff polite and helpful. Good price for the tyres fitted. Staff also used protective equipment in this Covid state.

Took my car into the garage today at short notice and despite being very busy they managed to fit me in. Very professional and efficient. I would highly recommend this garage and trust them to always do a good job

Ordered two front tyres for the van…
Ordered two front tyres for the van plus had the wheel alignment done with a special offer. Ordered online and booked slot on the Saturday, friendly staff and excellent service, van feels so much better.

Fast Service
I needed new tyres and ordered them online with half price tracking. Also had my AC regassing too. Had it all done within 90 minutes. Very happy with the service and would recommend.
