60 days without heating or cooling – third missed delivery date and ZERO response from Mitsubishi Electric Europeted in a premium Mitsubishi…
We invested in a premium Mitsubishi Electric VRF / City Multi system (with the R69193478 scroll compressor) for our house. The complete installed system was a significant investment of approximately €45,000.
The system was damaged due to an electric failure. The critical spare parts were ordered on 17 February 2026. We have now been without any heating or cooling for two full months (60+ days).
The Portuguese branch has given us three different promised delivery dates. The latest was 14 April 2026 — all of which have now passed with no part arriving and no further communication.
After weeks of silence I escalated the case with a formal complaint directly to Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V. Headquarters in the Netherlands on 1 April 2026 (addressed to Mr. Masami Kusano, President of Living Environmental Systems, and the official HQ emails). To this day — more than two weeks later — we have received absolutely zero acknowledgement or response from headquarters. Not even a simple “we have received your complaint.”
This level of after-sales service is completely unacceptable for a premium brand like Mitsubishi Electric. Any system should not leave European customers without essential climate control for 60+ days while the manufacturer fails to stock or source a spare part.
The total lack of communication and repeated broken promises has caused significant physical discomfort and psychological stress to my wife and me.
The manufacturer itself has completely failed us. I would strongly advise anyone considering Mitsubishi Electric equipment to think twice — the product may be good, but the after-sales support in Europe is non-existent when you actually need it.
