Reapplying isn’t easy, but the 12-week interview course and 1-to-1 sessions my daughter had with Dr Risvia Khan really helped her gain confidence and understand how to approach interviews more effectively, which played a big part in her receiving an unconditional offer in dentistry. Her guidance and ongoing support throughout the application journey made a genuine difference, and we’re very grateful.

Getting entry in medicine school is a tough journey.Dr Khan is extermely knowledgeable and helpful.I approached her for advice and she guided me in the correct direction.I will recommend to enrol for MSE lessons and this will make this journey to medicine school easy to navigate.

Students get insight into NHS , learn how system works and prepare for exam questions side by side . They even talk about current affairs in health politics.
My son didnot get into dentistry in first attempt as we started preparation quite late.Rizvia helped us to come out of that hopelessness period and to plan for next year. She got amazing leadership qualities .

We got to know of MSE after my daughter had submitted her med school applications. She did Mock MMI interview prep sessions and a 1-on-1 interview prep session with Dr Khan. These sessions helped my daughter prepare for and perform well at interview to get her med school offer! So grateful we found a place that truly understands, cares and had the right expertise to support her where she needed it.

I haven't used MSE's services myself since I only found out about the services on offer after working with the rest of the team as a tutor, but if I was going through the whole medical school process again (god forbid!) I would definitely taken advantage.

The team is warm, professional and incredibly experienced. Being myself an Oxford Medical student, everyone I talk with is from a top uni (Oxbridge, Imperial etc) or current doctors with an immense amount of knowledge on the whole process.

The webinars and programmes which I am grateful to help out with have been high quality, and built around actual student help rather than repeating all the generic advice found online. The ability to ask questions to so many people who have gone through the process and have helped others do so is invaluable, and something which would have made my own application so much easier.

I was definitely pleasantly surprised with Dr Khan's access approach with discretionary discounts, and if someone can't afford to participate, they don't pay. Being from a similar background, I couldn't agree more; Medical School isn't just for those who can pay more!

My son has been part of the med school entry team for the past two years and have found the information and the support Dr Rizvia and her team has provided valuable. From a parents perspective I have found DR Rizvia to be so caring, supportive and approachable, I have rang her for advice on what options to put etc and she always exceeds my expectations and explains each options, equipping me and my son to make the best decision. Alhamdulliah my son has received 3 offers from Exeter, Southampton and Edgehill and is waiting to hear from Brunel- he already did the interview. I worked as a tutor with MedSchoolEntry, with a background as a doctor, supporting students preparing for medicine and dentistry interviews, and had a really positive experience.

The teaching material was high quality and very relevant to interviews. I saw clear improvement in students over time, especially those on the 12-week programme — their confidence and structure improved significantly.

Students received detailed feedback and could reach out afterwards with questions, which was really helpful for their development.

Dr Khan’s leadership really stands out — the programme is clearly well thought out and student-focused. I’d recommend MSE to anyone who’s applying to medicine. From UCAT, to interviews to A levels, they’ll help you through the entire process making it a much less daunting journey. I had UCAT support with them and was fortunate enough to receive an interview from southampton. The usefulness of the Uni Specific clinic was unmatched, and led to me receiving an offer! I am so grateful for all their help throughout the medicine application process.

I can’t recommend MSE highly enough for anyone who wants to support their child on the journey to studying medicine. The guidance, structure, and support provided throughout have been incredibly valuable.

In particular, the 1:1 session with Mrs. Khan made a huge difference. She was extremely approachable and helped my daughter with the interview prep and gave the relavant feedback which was really helpful.

I would strongly recommend the 12-week interview course as it was filled with very useful information & helped gain an understanding of the NHS as a whole. If i didn't attend it, I dont see how i could have answered interview questions with such confidence & precision. Dr Rizvia taught us very well. Especially coming from a low income family, I was able to access this course through their discounts for wp students where otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford it. May Allah reward them for their efforts & guide us all.

Whilst my first session was super helpful for general dentistry interviews, I really wanted to focus on just Manchester uni and shared this with Dr. Khan. She then did another session for me which was somehow even more helpful!! Unlike most interview tutors, she didn’t hesitate to interrupt me midway through to give me advice which meant I could really tweak and tailor my answers to focus on the guidelines Manchester gives online, something that Dr. Khan researched for me. Would definitely recommend!
