Excellent service ,fast postage

Excellent service. When preparing my order they (Oliver I think) noticed I had ordered the wrong accessories to go with the bow, called me up, and just charged me the different to put the right ones in the box. Sent soon after. Good stuff.

My husband and I recently took up Archery we were recommended Merlin in Burton on Trent we booked our visit and were welcomed and looked after by Neil. He was very helpful didn’t rush us at all and went through choices and the setup of the bows. And explained everything to us would recommend

After months of watching their website to see when my desired item is available (and frequent telephone calls), I was very pleased to place my order. Days of email interaction ended today with a refusal to accept my proof of age and the instruction that MERLIN ARCHERY was reporting my efforts to the relevant authority.

Excellent service from the Merlin team, great product range and competitive prices.

The website is ancient. The navigation is awful. It feels like the digitial personification of a run down, brick n' mortar cycle shop. It is functionally poor, but it does save sessions between logins.

Paid for premium next day delivery on a Friday morning (which cost a fiver), and it has only now been dispatched on a Wednesday afternoon. I live alone in a flat and work 7 until 6pm. Now my parcel will sit outside or will be delivered to neighbours, stolen or re-routed.

Since there is no option to schedule delivery, you can only time delivery with next day. However if some products are low in stock your delivery may be delayed... so why are you offering the products that aren't out of stock at the time of ordering? Or rather, why are Merlin allowing the purchsse of next day delivery when you know it won't be sent out on time?

I am disappointed.

Great shop with lots of stock, only problem is very very slow mail order took nearly 10 days after payment taken and bits were in STOCK.

Recommend to visit the store in burton Trent if you want yiour item in nowadays delivery times.

Really poor after sales and customer service. I'll not be shopping with them again, they've not earned the more than 1k I've spend with them, so why give them more...

Do yourselves a favour and find another supplier.

My husband and I recently took up archery and were advised to visit Merlin Archery in Canterbury to get kitted out after our beginners course. Nick and Adrian were beyond helpful and gave us loads of advice as well as lots of options to choose from. They were even super patient with me when I took ages to choose a colour! I would recommend Merlin Archery in Canterbury to anyone looking for equipment and we will definitely be back before long. Thanks for all your help!!

I have found Merlin Archery to be very professional, very helpful and very competitively priced, i have purchased quite a few items from them now and can't complain, i would also add that there custom arrows are put together really well...

If you’re determined to purchase anything from Merlin please read their returns policy because if they get your order wrong or the item you’ve purchased is of a poor quality and feels like it’s going to break then they will just give you the middle finger and tell you to return it by fully insured and tracked delivery at your own cost.
They will not refund your postage/shipping and likely will deduct an additional handling/checking product fee from your original payment.

If you’re buying anything archery related then please do your research on the item.
Look up the reviews and search YouTube for any issues or breakages during use because Merlin really doesn’t give a damn after they have your money.

And god forbid that you should leave a truthful review of a product they sell that’s of a negative construct.
Merlin like to “review” your reviews and if it’s factual about the negative points and quality of the purchase you made, then they just won’t publish it!
I guess this is because they have so much invested in the items that they can’t afford to have a negative impact on their sales.

Additionally if your item breaks within 30 days they like to fob you off to deal with the manufacturer of the product when by law it’s Merlin themselves that you have the contract with not the manufacturer.

Great company. Prompt helpful responses to all my questions. Got myself an Adder from these guys and accessories all without issues.
I also had an issue with a damaged limb on a previously owned crossbow purchased from a different seller. Although it isn't one they sell, they tracked down the replacement parts for me from one of their suppliers, and as they received them for free, sent them to me for the price of postage and packing. I'm hoping to find time to visit their physical store in the future. Can't recommend them strongly enough.

I recently took my pse laser to Merlin's archery in Chelmsford.
Where Jake (I think) couldn't help me enough setting up my bow, and given me sound advice on compound archery .
As I'm relatively new to the sport.
I will be going back that's for sure.

Excellent company with a great customer service delivery is super fast and there website is brilliant with vast amounts of high quality products I really enjoy shopping hear I’ll be a returning customer and I highly recommend them to anyone who is into archery

Best Archery Store around. I had a previous bad experience with another Archery Store and almost gave up. I phoned Merlin and to my surprise the phone was instantly answered, this never happened before with the previous Store. The person I spoke to was massively helpful and inspired me to order from their site. I ordered a crossbow on Wednesday morning and the item was delivered the following Friday. Fantastic service from Merlin. I would definitely recommend them and avoid the Preppers shop like the plague. Many thanks

After over a year of archery I needed to get my own kit. I was going to go to another archery store but was recommended Merlin Archery as they have a large stock and personalised fitting.

I spent about three hours in the shop. The lovely Sarah helped me from start to finish, and also taught me lots about the equipment and maintenance on the way. The staff are very knowledgeable and look after your best interests. I could have easily been peddled some of the more expensive pieces but on some occasions was recommended the least pricier option as it was a better fit for me.

As a result, at my first session testing my new kit at my club, I jumped 62 points comfortably and got a personal best!

I would definitely recommend paying for the personal time for anyone who is getting fully kitted out. It cost me £20 and was money well spent.

Merlin are a great resource for Archers. Wide range of products, and importantly for me, knowledgeable & helpful staff. I wanted some more of a particular arrow, but its no longer available, they were happy to advise a 'newer name' was in fact the same arrow just a change of colours. I did not know that, and this allowed me to place another order.
Often I need to confirm something about an item pre-purchase, or a follow up question - Merlin are helpful & responsive. Only negative is that for small items or one-off, the postage charge can make them too expensive.
