Used my waver a maximum of 5 times and the plate literally snapped off whilst I was using it and burnt my hand - absolutely gutting especially when it’s not cheap!

Order a present for Xmas over 6 weeks ago and has still not been delivered. Have tired calling and they dont answer the phone. VM is full so cant leave a message (for obvious reasons of too many complaints I would say) Emailed them they responded once and have not done what they said they would do and will no longer reply. Absolutely disgraceful way to run a business and ruin Xmas for someone. I would recommend avoiding using their services. If Karka exists I hope it comes for them.
Will not be recommending anyone I know to buy from this company. I ordered a heaps of things over 3 weeks ago now and still have not received them, they were for an event and I never got them. Also what I ordered they didn’t even have two of the items in stock, I asked for a full refund and they would not do it for me and I asked to speak to the manager twice and have been ghosted no reply nothing. Most unprofessional business and a full on rip off don’t buy from this site!
I gave this company multiple chances. First I bought the aircurl, I wasn't under the impression that it's a dupe for dyson or anything, completely different tool, I was just curious. Terrible, no curls or any type of waves. It's just pulls hair and blow hot air. Maybe if you try enough you could manage a curl or two, but an hour later it will be gone! Later I thought I could try the interchangeable blow dry brush. It's just nice! You can dry your hair quickly, give them a little shape here and there, but don't ever think you can get a blowout, even if you tried! I like it because I dry my hair every time I wash them and I can brush them at the same time. And last but not least I bought the thermal brush. Oh my god! It's just an average thermal brush. At first you manage some loose curls but after an hour are non existing!! No matter how much hair spray i use or pre style lotion, the curls will fall. The worst part? The hair are continuously stuck on the tool, at every bristle or plastic thing. You can only use it to smooth the hair on a bad hair day or something. Good thing I bought it on sale and with an extra discount because of a coupon. I wish I never knew the company at all. Guys save your money, it's not worth it. Also the company offer a 30 or 60 (I'm not sure) days guarantee for refund, but what they don't tell you is that you have to pay for the delivery, which is half of the price of the products. Stupid enough for me to give them som many chances I know, I'm just sharing the experience,bought them so you don't have to.

I placed my order on Sept 11. 10 days later I had not received anything about it being shipped so I contacted them. They advised that they were waiting for the stock and that it should be with them in 48 hours and they will process my order straight away. 5 days go by (if my maths is correct, that is more than 48 hours) I contact them again on the Friday and they say that they are expecting them that day but my order will be shipped next week. We are now at next week and wouldn’t you guess, still nothing from them. It honestly wouldn’t be as bad if they were the ones reaching out to keep their customers updated but no I had to follow up every single time and they are not telling the truth about when it will be. It’s wild that they would sell these products when they don’t have them in stock for over 20 days. I have cancelled my order and placed an order with Sephora who actually have stock and tell you when it’s low.
It’s a shame i cannot rate them with 0 stars. I should have read these other comments on trust pilot before placing my order. What a miserable company, pardon my french. I ordered on 13th of september a waver, with priority shipping. It should have been arrived in 1-3 days. It is already 30th of September and no one can confirm where this order is. I cannot get a refund also because “i might receive my order one day”, so i have to patiently wait for it with my money blocked, so that i can refuse the shipping and maybe get a refund. Their customer service is extremely poor to say the least. I regret placing the order and do not recommend anyone else doing it. It doesn’t really matter if they have good hair tools or not, if you don’t even receive them.
I am a UK Customer ...... After finally receiving the Mermade PRO Hair Waver - Cutie, which had shown waving bob length hair in its advertising, sadly when I tried it, it did not do what it advertised for my bob length hair. As the website says that they accept returns, I thought I had nothing to loose if it didn't work out. I got in contact with Customer Services (as advised per their website) and explained I would be returning the item and asked advice about a different waver - reply was sweet from Customer Services. I followed their instructions to return the product, and took it to the Post Office. I knew that return postage was on me BUT ..... the return address was in America, and it cost me £27.65 to return - over half the price of the waver !!!! I contacted Customer Services again (as I had to to share my proof of posting slip), and said that the cost of return postage was ludicrous and that as a company that dealt with UK customers, they should surely look into cheaper return postage addresses - I HEARD NOTHING FROM THEM in reply !! On Mermade Hair Facebook page/advertisements, many customers and Mermade Hair commented about being able to return items within 30 days. I commented to be aware of the high postage for UK customers - my comment was deleted. I recommented about the postage - I WAS BLOCKED !!! After waiting for my refund, I had to again get in contact with Mermade Hair to find out what was going on as they had received my return and no refund had been issued after the said 14 days. They were short in reply - no apology - said they'd look into it and get back to me. Instead, they just finally refunded. I was not rude and any way, it was a shame they did not take on board sensible critism to make their company better. I will NEVER purchase from this company again - Customer Services is a sh*#t show .....
SCAM COMPANY
I pre-ordered a curler around Christmas time for dispatch at the beginning of January. It's now 30/01 and the order hasn't been dispatched. My emails and messages were not responded to. My review on Facebook sparked a reply from them and they said they'd email, but never did. I have searched them on Companies House and it says they dissolved in November 2023, so I'm guessing this is why nobody's orders are being sent out.
During all this, this "company" have been advertising the curler as 'back in stock' and selling countless quantities to unsuspecting victims of their fraud!
Absolutely awful people. No communication, no customer service and I'm fairly certain it's a scam.
Filed a chargeback with my bank and got the money back that way.
Avoid and don't part with any money!
Stay away from this company!!
False promises of when your order will arrive. The pre-order date changed 3 times.
When I finally was able to get into contact with the company, instead of apologies I received snotty emails.
I requested a full refund to which I received a short email stating I would receive my refund in the next few days. Again no apologies. A very poor way to run a business. Hopefully I won’t have to wait long for my refund
Ordered the double hair weaver after it was extensively advertised at the start of September 2023. Waited over 2 weeks and didn’t receive as much as a confirmation notification, so I emailed and asked when I may expect my order to arrive only to be told that the item was on ‘ preorder ‘ and would be despatched after 13 September and would be despatched within 48 hours of this date….. today is the 02 October and still nothing has arrived, I have gave up waiting and cancelled the entire order. I know things can go wrong from time to time and orders may be delayed but this company make false promises which they can not fulfil, very disappointed on this occasion.
