You might want to look at your website, several of your 2025 tax year changes are incorrect.

I’ve been using this company for about a year, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. If you are looking for more problems than solutions, then this is the firm for you. They will make empty promises, leave critical work incomplete, and put you at risk with the ATO.

At the beginning, communication seems fine, but once you encounter a real issue or ask detailed questions, the responses become generic and unhelpful. Their staff are based in India, with little to no management oversight. Each person seems disconnected, and no one really takes responsibility.

They offered me QuickBooks and claimed they would handle my BAS and tax returns. In reality, they only lodged some BAS statements while leaving other important work undone. Promises to “get back in 5 minutes” turn into never hearing back at all.

This experience has been a real eye-opener about how some offshore accounting firms can operate in Australia. I strongly recommend avoiding them if you want proper, reliable accounting support.

Now I have debit collection agency after me because not all paperwork was given to ATO

RUN!! if you’re in the process of on boarding with Meru my advice is run, especially if you are based in AUS I’ve lost over $3000 incorrectly calculated superannuation not to mention the countless battles in getting this company to hand back my ledger of Accounts

This company have no knowledge of relevant laws outside of India as a customer from Australia I wish to warn any potential clients to stay clear.

Staff are incompetent, management become rude and abrupt

Not to mention I have over paid near enough $3000AUD in miscalculated superannuation

When I switched from QuickBooks to Wave I royally mucked things up. I began looking for a reliable resource to clean my books up and found Meru.

They reviewed my books and quoted a price to get it back in shape. Then gave me a price to keep it running smoothly. In the last couple of years I have found them to be good at keeping me informed of their needs, so I can send it to them.

I am a horrible bookkeeper and like having them do all that I'm not good at and fixing the mistakes I introduce into my books.

The only issue I have is if we have a phone conversation the background noise from their office can make it difficult. Otherwise, they let me focus on making money without any worry about my books.

I might add they were not familiar with Wave Accounting but familiarized themselves so they could use it.
