I’d give zero stars if I could

I’d give zero stars if I could. Their online request a meeting option provided times available for consultants but then they cancel just before the meeting citing its outside of hours. Better planning and organisation is needed by this company or get a better booking system. They don’t appear to be a serious company. No proactive approach to engage potential customers. If current communication and technology is this bad as a prospective customer i’d hate to think what it’s like once they sign a contract with you.

Not Suited to Small Ecommerce Teams

We used Sinch MessageMedia for live customer communication across multiple ecommerce businesses.

In our experience, the platform was not well suited to a small to medium ecommerce team environment where multiple staff need to access desktop and mobile devices concurrently.

We experienced repeated logouts across devices and inconsistent notification visibility, which made real time customer messaging difficult to manage reliably. For a business relying on immediate customer response, stable multi device access and clear notifications are fundamental requirements.

We also found the escalation pathway limited. Support interactions were primarily through chat and standard email responses, and we were unable to access structured technical escalation when operational concerns persisted.

The platform may be more appropriate for larger organisations with dedicated IT structures, but for a growing ecommerce business requiring seamless, real time communication across multiple team members and devices, it did not meet our operational needs.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We were migrated from TextMarks (which transitioned to transportation communications only) to Message Media over two years ago. We initially received responsive customer support. However, in 2025, paying $550 a month with constant issues and canceled campaigns for a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, which was licensed and permitted to run a charitable bingo game, was unacceptable on every level last year. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! We could text the word 'bingo' or any amount of our Progressives or jackpots — but we couldn't text that either. I switched to EZ Texting, and they got us approved with all carriers with NO RESTRICTIONS, and we're paying less.

Had a really positive start but now…

Had a really positive start but now they are refusing to let me use the API whilst simultaneously making it difficult to cancel.
Very baffling and frustrating customer service processes.
Will update the review if anything changes, but right now I'd suggest going with another provider. It's a shame because I picked them as they were Australian, but I think I'll be better off with a more efficient foreign company.

Joke of a company

Would never use again, but when you need customer service, there is no real number to call its a voicemail and im 2 weeks in on an issue that seems too difficult for there simple minds to resolve. There was no real update on the multifactor so now no one can log in and we pay 200$ a month for this service for small business. Also got off the phone with sales to have them have someone from support call us and the support service doesnt have a phone?!?!?! Go elsewere for your texting needs for business. They should have shut down shop a long time ago.

Not happy Jan

We currently have one team member on this platform and want to add another one. We can't just add one, we need to pay for 5. Then, I can't access this immediately, I need to wait 2 weeks until the start of August - they don't pro-rata invoices. Also, my request had to go to an accounts team for approval which took a day - not immediate like every other platform. we use. Poor for a tech company and has wasted a huge amount of my time.

6 weeks and we still can't SMS

Its been 6 weeks and we havent been able to sms out for our large business. I have asked support for a screen share a few times in the AEST time zone to assist us in configuring this.

Random Configuration changes, poor support

We've had multiple cases where the system will randomly forget that its set to only send from a single address, instead sending each message out from a different number or alpha tag causing chaos. This has happened at least twice, each time causing major issues with our business (Health Care, these communications are critical) and taking hours to resolve by MessageMedia support.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend them if you need reliability or consistency. Otherwise, bar a few oddities, they weren't a bad option.
