Bad that I have not received my order yet! Last order was great this one not

Wood of good quality....delivered on time and good comms with the company reg del times

It took over a week before delivery but the wood is super dry and burns cleanly.

Second delivery great value and good comms.

Prompt. Good value. Better than another two suppliers I’ve used. This is my second order and I will come back again.

So, before I ordered, I had read the other reviews, but I did some extra research and ordered anyway. Below is my honest review, and I hope my positive experience benefits any potential customers.

1) I got the Wonky Offcut Firewood Bag (large) which is listed as 1.5m3. It was filled to the brim, probably carries more volume of wood for the space when compared to normal split logs, and it filled my wood store.
2) Mix of what appears to be untreated post material, most were small end pieces, some larger pieces, so theoretically ready to burn.
3) There was quite a bit of surface moisture, and I found them hard to burn at the start. However, to address the nay-sayers adding reviews on this page, if you've owned a stove long enough, you adjust to the material you have to burn! I found that just splitting a few open meant the dry inner was easy to burn, and any remaining surface moisture evaporated in the heat.
4) Nice little bonus is that, for the volume I have thus far burned, there is relatively little ash being produced when compared to the same volume of logs I was burning. This means it has a higher heat efficiency than the logs, which again I aim at the the nay-sayers about the moisture.
5) The sales team (owner) was very transparent on WhatsApp, and even got my order onto the truck coming in that afternoon, so I got it the next day, which is better than what my local's were achieving. Great for a national company! To those persons complaining about delivery times, if you had time to complain about the lead time on a delivery, then you had time to get in an order early enough not to run out.

Overall, very happy with my experience, and I will definitely be returning.

They are a company that really goes the extra mile, reliable and prices their goods and services well.

There should perhaps be a box for no stars, as order from 16 Feb has not appeared as at 6 March.

If bulk bag had of been full as it shows in the advertising picture I would have been happy with everything but I emptied the bag with 3 garden wheelbarrow loads which works out at £40 a load,I have had deliveries before which have taken over 4 barrow loads.I have sent a photo of the delivery to your email address

A little disappointed with the amount received and the size of the logs , lots of little scrappy pieces

Ordered 2 bags (1 logs and 1 offcuts) on Tuesday 6th Jan.

Was advised that delivery would be a week later 12th-14th (seemed a bit of a wait but I decided was OK).
I chased by email on 13th as I had heard nothing - I was told a delivery delay due to snow!
So delivery would be delayed to 16th.
I received an Email after 9pm on 15th - when the bags should already be underway - saying 'offcuts' wood was unsuitable and would be replaced by a 2nd logs bag.
But in addition this would cause an additional delay - now 'after the weekend' on 20th - so 14 days after I ordered.
I could understand a shipping delay or supply problem but not both.
I was promised an update 19th - nothing.
I emailed and then called 20th - no response & no update and obviously no logs!

Logs finally delivered 21st seem good quality and amount.
Delivery company were excellent, good updates so I could see where the problems were and an exact time delivery to the minute!

TLDR: Logs OK if you can wait 14+ days and with very little communication!

All the wood is wet. Half of the package far to big to put in a log burner.

Arrived later than expected but happy with what was received, good value

Easy to order and great tracking of delivery. Unfortunately the contents of both bulk bags were very wet so not burning well.

Good product, had a little bit of an issue with delivery which was sorted very promptly, in a friendly manner and very efficiently!
