so far its a good delivery app however…

so far its a good delivery app however it takes very long time to deliver the grocery.

secondly the tracking is false. it shows car still at pickup location and driver is at delivery address and sometimes car showing arrive at deluvery address but at pickup location.

lastly customer service is of no help. they dont care.

delivery time need to be faster. uber eats does way better and more efficient. only downside is they dont do grocery from big supermarket.

Even though MILKRUN is handy to have, they SUCK! big time on their delivery service. It says “Delivery in Minutes” but it’s not. It’s more like 1/2 an hr to 40-50 minutes delivery service. It’s bad enough you have to wait so long for delivery but you pay $1.99 mini run including $7 on top of that for delivery fee. Like wtf??!!.

Hi
Have ordered many times ,with delivery being delivered in great time 30 minutes at maximum, but last few times especially today have noticed times are getting longer and longer .Today's was ridiculous, the time was continuously changing, really doesn't save any time or convenience really, may as well go to shops and get it myself .Starting to be like all the other delivery services, carting your order all around town before you get it hours later.Will no longer order again Im afraid.

Horrendous experience

Horrendous experience. Took 2 hours and 30 minutes for my order to be delivered when the estimated time was 47 minutes. The customer service is awful. I held off using them recently as their prices have gone through the roof and this is another reason I won’t be using them again

Absolutely pathetic service

Absolutely pathetic service. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Waited over 2 hours for an order and it had frozen items. When I called they said just ‘hang tight’. Seriously pathetic.

Countdown aka Woolworths

My Experience with Milkrun as i have heard all these stories about the new service that is provided by countdown aka woolworths, Iactually have no problem with access and availability for all products and services provided from The milkrun collective. im very impresssed that there are services from The supermarket provided for the public to be able to choose how you like to receive your product and goods. Thank you

DO NOT USE MILKRUN! I would give negative -5 stars if I could!

As a single mother who has just escaped a domestic violence situation I did not feel safe leaving my home and both my children were unwell so I thought Milkrun would be ideal to help me get some desperately needed groceries delivered, turns out I was wrong… from my first order only a handful of items were delivered whilst I paid for the entirety of the items - no amended invoice was ever provided to me so I asked for a refund and they asked me to provide them a list of all the items that were missing from my order(dodgy as!!) they then said they can only provide me with a credit amount via a discount code which was due to expire in only 3 months so I was forced to use their services for a second time. I reluctantly made a second order and AGAIN was robbed of items missing from my purchase! I contacted Milkrun about the missing items and their response was that I contacted them too late, I went on to explain my situation and they accused me of lying and said there was nothing they could do about it! ABSOLUTE ROBBERY!!! DO NOT USE MILKRUN UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED OF MONEY AND GROCERIES!

Absolutely terrible service - minus 5 stars

Absolutely terrible service-would not recommend. Milkrun is not a customer centric service and is not secure. I was told that my ID was verified by the delivery driver for an order which I never received. How is that possible??Makes me very nervous for how my information / data is used by this company. Milkrun refused to refund my money and effectively called me a liar. There are much better, safer delivery services out there. Do not use!!

Service smooth as butter!

I’ve used MILKRUN 3 times now, and find it really easy to use,
Once you’ve been a customer, the app tells you what your eta will approximately be, before you’ve even submitted an order, so you would know if it matches your time constraints before you’ve even gone through the rigmarole of ordering, I find that handy, and respectful of your time,
twice now it’s been 15 to 20 minutes quicker, and the one time it was later, it was due peak hour traffic,
You can literally watch, in real time, your order being packed, and you can watch the driver turn by turn enroute, allowing you to meet your driver at the door, the drivers have been kind, courteous and the first one was super patient with me as a first timer,
You get 4 free deliveries upon signing up, and I’ve noticed you can take advantage of specials and Aquire free delivery through those deals.
I’ve found customer support via emails to be very responsive,
I do think the AI bot needs more training because in trying to acertain how to provide positive driver feedback, it thought I wanted to pass negative feedback, so that’s it. The only gripe.
I would 100% recommend MILKRUN, and I will continue to use the service.

I was cautious about using this service after reading the reviews and the glitching issues it was having etc but wish I had read the Trust Pilot reviews first. After several deliveries and problems on all of them, I feel the need to log a lengthy review. Constantly out of stock of things in stock in store, it's almost like they are forcing consumers to purchase the brands that don't sell to clear their dead stock levels? Item costs are hiked by several $s, sometimes massive amouts. Delivery times quoted are never accurate. Uber drivers are lazy or wanting to rush onto other deliveries, so they don't won't climb stairs to deliver to your door. What's the point of door to door delivery service if they won't deliver? esp for elderly/disabled? I was forced to climb down several flights of stairs in my pyjamas, to go to street level to work out why the driver wasn't delivering and he proceeded to dump my groceries unceremoniously on the side of the road. I had to carry every bag up separately as I have severe arthritis in both hands (awaiting surgery) and a back injury. The whole reason I am paying exorbitant prices for a delivery service. By the end, I was in extreme pain and nearly fell down the stairs because I was so tired after climbing and reclimbing several flights of stairs 8 times. All this because the lazy Uber driver was to lazy to deliver to the door (which was the service I'm paying for). If my neighbour's grandson hadn't been passing and helped me with the carton on Pepsi Max, I would have had to break that down to even more trips. To top it off I discovered about 1/3 of my order missing! no f/up, just offer to refund the amount & that can take several days to hit your account but doesn't fix the problem of not having the meals I ordered to eat for the next few days nor the fact you'll be up for another delivery charge. Also customer service chat tool tool took a further 1:45hrs of my time to chase up! These services are supposed to make life easier not harder! Lazy Uber drivers reliance for delivery is the biggest hurdle here. Accountability is hard as not Woolworths/Milkrun but outsourced to Uber. When will Woolworths take this problem seriously? When an elderly person dies because they have a fall and a brain injury? App doesn't allow flexibility to save 'regular list' and almost impossible to update delivery instructions. I'm very disappointed as this app was recommended by community support workers specifically for people with disabilities etc struggling to get groceries in the community. I will be making sure to let them know not to recommend it anymore. It's just taking advantage of people (elderly & disabled) in need of extra services. Save your $$ & hassle, and use another service.

Disgusting service

I have been using Milkrun for a long time and am over as twice weekly. I was generally satisfied with Milkrun until my experience with the driver today. Firstly he refused to hand me my order as the name on the order read Shaun R, and my id has my full name Shaun Rensburg. Indeed I got frustrated by this level of ignorance. He became arrogant when he finally understood me and proceeded to virtually throw my shopping bags out onto my driveway. I should have had video footage to provide evidence of his rude and offensive behaviour. Appalled!

Unreliable, always late


It’s a great idea and very convenient, and I don’t mind paying more for the food given the service. The issue is with the app, it’s consistently inaccurate. The timing is so far off that it can’t be relied on. For example, it will say the driver is one minute away for 30 minutes, even though you can clearly see on the map that they’re miles away. It’s quite ridiculous

Useless, don’t waste your time

Third order in a row that has been over an hour later than they estimated. Driver went and did another drop for DeliverEasy in the opposite direction after collecting my order. Third time in a row I have had to call and tell them this is happening and clearly they don’t care or listen. Bags always ripped and eggs always broken. Quicker to do click and collect.

Worst delivery service I have experienced

From the moment the bags were dropped at my door there were problems. The uber driver told me that one of the bags were broken. As I carried the second paper bag to the kitchen that one broke as well with all my fruit and veggies flying all over the floor (obviously overfilled bags). The small order was missing 1kg pears. I complained and all they did was refund the $3 for pears. Later I noticed that the bottle milk ($4.50)’s expiry date was literally 2 days after I had the order delivered!!! Usually there’s 2 weeks or more before the BB date. I reached out to the agent who took a long time, was barely apologetic and offered a $5 voucher as an apology which felt like an insult after the incredibly low quality service which has been provided and which I am wasting my valuable time to try to resolve. I am not impressed and will not be using this service and will be telling everyone I know to avoid.
Irony is that I tried to save myself time by using MILKRUN but it has been the complete opposite. Thanks for wasting my time MILKRUN

Charged for out of stock items

Twice in the last week I have placed an order with MILKRUN. 3 out of the 6 items I ordered were not available. I contacted customer service looking for a refund as I had to go out and get the missing items. I was told by a supervisor that MILKRUN may not be a suitable option for me! Zero accountability. I paid for delivery on each order and still had to go out. I was also charged for the unavailable items.

Worst service ever, be careful their customer serive is for wasting your life not for solving their own system problem

Worst service ever, received 1 voucher yesterday for first purchase customer, thought would give it a try, spent half an hour on the website to get list done. The voucher is not working. online chat with customer service, Shree replied one sentence every 5 minutes, after 1 hour on the chat, she finally asked for my email to prove that I received the email, shared the email, then she blocked me from chat!!! You must be kidding to your customer, you are wasting my 1.5 hours for nothing???? how do you think you will get customers???
