I was recently involved in a car accident that left me hanging upside down in my seat belt. Fortunately I was wearing my Mimibelt which fundamentally saved my 24 week old babies life. Whilst I fortunately walked away with bumps and bruises it could have been so much worse.
Huge thank you to the Mimi belt creators for making such a great piece of kit, as far as I’m concerned it’s worth every penny.

Did not fit my car. There was no way of knowing without ordering

A refund was not offered.

Avoid

Ordered over a week ago, paid for “priority shipping”- first red flag 🚩!!! The priority shipping isn’t priority shipping it is “insurance” which isn’t clearly communicated so would almost argue false advertising. So an extra £13 for no difference to the service, fast forward nearly two weeks later still no product, no sign of tracking info updating. Stay clear and save your money. Will not be ordering from this company again. Also paid the extra for “priority shipping” yet uses the cheapest, lowest reviewed company for delivery. Just a scam company in general doing anything to get your money with no expectation on when/if it will get you

This product is a small piece of plastic. It was clear when I opened the box that breaking in a crash would be likely. I looked up more information (i should have done that before ordering). Its not tested for crashes at all. Its a scam. I paid a huge international shipping cost $80 so I would only receive $20 back from the entire purchase. Now that the product has arrived in Australia. They are refusing reimbursement!

Do not trust or buy from this company. Absolutely false advertising for a seat belt that has not certified safe. Disgusting a company who puts mothers and I babies lives at risk for money.
What mini belt don’t tell you is that this seatbelt has not undergone the same rigorous testing as a car seatbelt, and has no official certifications of safety for mothers or their unborn babies, hence wearing this would put your baby at more risk than a normal seatbelt. We were severely warned against using by our obstetrician. When we reported safety concerns to mini belt and asked for a refund they told us that all of this information was in their terms and conditions, but not their main advertising. Extremely deceptive. No refund offered, and have reported to authorities. STAY AWAY

Mimibelt is not a product that is legal nor meets safety requirement in Australia and it would have been good to know this as no where on the website does it say to check local laws and advice . Disappointing

The product wasn't recommended by my wife's OBGYN. Tried to return the product. They're making me ship it back to Sydney, Australia. I opted to receive a 20% refund of the purchase price. Just wanted everybody to know.

Love it fits perfectly in bmw and works as they show only thing it feeling like ya legs are getting pulled together

I have a neighbor parcel nearly two weeks and they are not collecting or open the door for me. Contacted this company as it is their parcel. No response, no interest to provide return label and get product back.no Contact number,no address, only fillfy email like Chinese companies does.

The seatbelt comes unsecured often from the device leaving slack and the device itself becomes very loose and is hard to retighten especially if you do not have another person around and it’s hard to bend over depending how low your car might be. Would not buy this again.

I had a very disappointing experience with MimiBelt.

I purchased an item for £33 (including shipping), and when I decided to return it within the cooling-off period, I was informed that it must be sent back to Australia at my own expense. This was not made clear at the time of purchase. The website appeared UK-based, with prices in GBP, and there was no obvious indication that returns would require international shipping.

After looking into it, the cost of returning the item from the UK to Australia is around £20–£35, which is close to or even exceeds the value of the product itself. This makes the return option completely impractical.

When I raised this concern, the only alternative offered was a 20% refund, which I do not consider reasonable. In reality, this creates a situation where customers are left with no viable way to obtain a proper refund.

I feel misled as a customer, and the return policy, while technically stated, is not presented in a clear or fair way before purchase. It effectively prevents customers from exercising their right to return.

I would strongly advise others to carefully check the return policy before buying, especially if you are based in the UK.

TO ANYONE WHO GOT SCAMMED:

1.) DO NOT ACCEPT ANY REFUND OTHER THAN A FULL ONE. DO NOT FALL FOR THE 20% OR 50% NONSENSE THAT THEY MIGHT OFFER. ONLY SETTLE FOR A FULL REUND.

2.) IF THEY REFUSE - THREATEN TO INITIATE A CHARGEBACK BECAUSE THERE IS A 95% CHANCE YOU WILL WIN

3.) IF THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU A FULL REFUND THEN START A CHARGEBACK AND YOU WILL EVENTUALLY BE CREDITED WITH YOUR MONEY BACK, OR THEY WILL FINALLY FOLD AND BE FORCED TO REFUND YOU IN FULL. A CHARGEBACK IS THE LAST THING THEY WANT AND IS WHERE YOUR POWER IS AS THE VICTEM OF THIS NONSENSE

My wife is currently pregnant and this what we needed!!! Protects the baby and her stomach! It’s worth every cent!! WE THANK YOU MIMIBELT!!!

one of the best little purchases I’ve made over the holiday. I just wish they offer more colors to choose from but it's no biggie. I still love it!
