Terrible billing practices and hidden charges — avoid!
I had a very frustrating experience with Mint Host. I launched a small test server just to evaluate their performance, so I intentionally only kept a small amount of funds in my account.
Shortly after, I logged in and saw my balance was at -10 Tk and my VPS had been suspended. I planned to add money a bit later, but suddenly, I started receiving automated emails every single minute. When I checked my account again, my balance had dropped even further to -79 Tk!

Hello,
First off all even you have posted an one star review we have learnt a lot from it. Actually we worked so hard for the beginner web developers who can enjoy a VPS solution instead of paying for the whole month but pay for the hour.
You see when you buy a VPS a part of resource like Storage, RAM, CPU or IP stays allocated. Even if you shut down we can't just wipe away everything. For this your credit was being deducted. However if you terminate a VPS, resources allocated to the VPS also gets released.
Now, users just started abusing this process. If there is no credit on your account vps gets suspended (turned off). Same as shut down, suspended vps still holds the resources. And if the user reloads funds VPS continued running. People started abusing this process by just keeping less credit on their account so they can enjoy free shut down. That's why we introduced negative balance. Even if your vps is suspended, for 48 hours negative balance will be counted. After 48 hours VPS will be terminated.
We did this to keep our system clean from abusers and keep our costs less. So we can charge our customers less as possible. By following this process we are able to provide the cheapest VPS possible.
Now for this if you think we deserve 1 star, than we don't know how to give our customers the freedom they deserve 😅
