M J Quinn carried out an FTTP install replacing my old copper broadband on behalf of BT Openreach.
The pre-install customer service by both M J Quinn & BT was excellent with numerous emails & texts with plenty of info on the install.
On the day of install, the only negative was that I was not contacted beforehand and the engineer, Davidas, turned up a few hours early, apparently because his schedule had been changed at the last minute. Luckily I was at home.
Having spent considerable time and effort in hiding cables during a house renovation, I had been putting of the inevitable upgrade for years due to fears about untidy exposed cables and shoddy workmanship. I was ready to cancel the job if I was not happy with the route proposed.
However, Davidas understood this and carried out the installation in my upstairs home office to the highest standard. He first discussed the options and process with me and agreed that untidy cabling is an eyesore.
After a hoist engineer had attended site, the incoming cable was tee'd off from the overhead running nearby. Having drilled through the wall into the upstairs from outside, there is just a tiny box plus the connection box which is a bit larger than a single switch socket.
He explained everything before leaving and left the area tidy.
I was so relieved and happy that there was no stress and that this upgrade is another job ticked off the list.

I had fibre installed by Billie and she was excellent. Work completed to a high standard and within the planned time frame. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Mohammed Haroon came and installed our full fibre and was amazing, great communication throughout the entire process and made sure it was done on the day without issue. I cannot recommend him enough!

First engineer didn't complete the job properly, so we had no Internet. After loads of messaging etc to EE we had a competent engineer - David Parvin - on site, who sorted it all out. Thank you Mr P.

MJ Quinn have told BT Openreach that they are unwilling to come back to my property to fix the mess they left behind when installing my broadband. After my last review they asked for me to contact them with details which I promptly did and I'm still waiting for a response from MJ Quinn. Seems that they are quick enough to take money of BT but don't give a damn how they treat the customer or their home. If a no star option was available, I would give them no stars. Avoid this company.

We were very pleased with Mohammed today.
Excellent communication skills explaining every step of the way what he was doing.
Unfortunately the job couldn’t be completed today due to height of house and it being a listed building …it had to be referred to BT open reach…Mohammed communicated the problems with them and it will be resolved.
Mohammed was very friendly obviously a hard worker wanting to do a satisfactory job.

Mohammed Haroon fitted my full fibre. He turned up in time and was extremely professional and courteous.

Mohammed kept us informed about his arrival time - he was very pleasant to have working in our home and explained everything he was doing clearly. He checked that we were satisfied with the work he had done and how the house was left. A thorough and very tidy worker.

Excellent service. Mohammad did a very neat job, he even made good the bad install the previous engineer had left. He was very considerate about leaving no mess, wore shoe protectors as requested. Really affable good natured lad.

I am incredibly impressed with the service provided by the MJ Quinn engineer who came out on behalf of Openreach. The engineer arrived exactly within the scheduled time slot and was professional, courteous, and highly skilled from start to finish.
​They took the time to explain what they were doing and found the neatest, most efficient way to route the infrastructure without leaving any mess. The connection was up and running perfectly before they left, and the quality of the workmanship is top-tier.
