⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Truly Exceptional Experience with Darian & MakeITWork

From the very first conversation, I knew Darian was the person I wanted to work with. His ability to take a loose idea and turn it into a fully realised, functional, and beautifully executed solution is nothing short of remarkable. His knowledge, creativity, and professionalism are truly world-class — the best I’ve encountered in Northern Ireland, across any trade.

Calling him a tradesman almost feels unfair — he’s an artist in his craft. The attention to detail, precision, and pride he takes in his work set him apart completely. The final result not only met expectations but blew them out of the water. Everything was delivered neatly, efficiently, and with a level of finish that you just don’t see often.

The value for money was outstanding — and as they say, “cost is forgotten when quality is remembered.” But in this case, it was both top-tier quality and fairly priced.

What really stood out, though, was Darian’s genuine passion for his work. You can see the joy and satisfaction he gets from delivering excellence, and that enthusiasm is infectious. It’s inspiring to see a young local professional building such a reputable, high-quality business through pure dedication and talent.

This was a home/office installation, but honestly, I’d recommend him for any project — large or small. Darian and MakeITWork are a total game changer. Six stars, without hesitation.

Darian was great when he first installed our initial CCTV. We were some of his first customers. We unlike newer customers have his mobile phone number so that shows how early on in his business we hired him.

We later added cameras to the system but his refusal to answer phone calls or respond to texts, emails, voice messages or Whatsapp was frustrating. We would chase him for weeks leaving messages before finally getting a response.

Like all systems there are glitches especially as the cameras are connected to the internet for off site viewing. So we fully understand if a camera went off line we would have to pay for his visit.

He is a sole trader trying to promote himself as a larger professional company. It is obvious he only wants to install, get paid and never return. He doesn’t want to provide a call out service where he is paid his fee without any question as to the smount.

Going by our conversation tonight he wants service contracts like the big boys who have office staff and 24/7 helplines for call outs. For domestic installations these may never be necessary.

He is running when he should be walking. Maintaining good customer service giving proper appointments rather than promises of “I will call in when I’m in the area!” This is not how business is conducted. If someone can’t book an appointment in their diary be it virtual or not, there is something very wrong with their business acumen and understanding of customer service.

I ran a very successful company with staff and was able to maintain an appointment book which I strictly adhered to as did my staff.

We contacted him on 30th May just after he had conducted paid service visit to inform him that cameras AND our internet off site viewing was down.

He could not give a firm appointment date? So now nearly two months have passed and we still have cameras down and NO off site viewing on the internet. He informs me that he is too busy because it’s festival season and he supplies CCTV cameras to gigs. A sound businessman would know well in advance of May that July onwards would mean his appointment book would be full. So instead of fitting us in before this busy time he has just ignored our request.

When I had my own business I often worked 7 days and 14 or more hours per day to make sure customers were accommodated. Most of my business came from referrals from these customers to their family members, work colleagues and friends.

If you don’t mind chasing a workman who never replies to messages and by his own admission only looks at his week’s messages on a Friday knock yourself out.

Go nowhere else! These are the very best, and are so kind and caring too.

Great team who know their stuff inside out & really care about helping their customers to get their issues resolved. Couldn't recommend them enough, first class service.
