I recently purchased the Carmela dress and unfortunately my experience hasn’t been great.

The item I received is not as shown on the website — key design details are missing and the fit/structure is very different from the images advertised.

When I contacted customer service, I was told I would need to return the item to China at my own expense in order to receive a refund, which was not made clear at the time of purchase as the website appears UK-based.

I’ve tried to resolve this directly but haven’t been offered a reasonable solution.

Just sharing so others are aware before ordering.

Poor quality dress. Not as seen in picture. Belt too short. Poor stitching in areas. Looked more like a thin bath robe, with no buttons or fastening. Refused a refund or return, even though I pointed out all of the above. 14 days for delivery. Avoid avoid avoid!!

Do not buy from this company, it's an absolute SCAM. I bought a dress from them for £61.00. plus delivery. I saw the exact same dress in another site for £17.50.
The dress was too big, so I requested a refund. After numerous emails, they offered me a 30% refund, which I accepted. This never happened. When I queried this.i was told because it wasn't damaged it didn't fit the return policy, so all the 30% emails were basically time wasting. Never never buy from them.

I would strongly advise against ordering from this company.

I placed an order on 11th March, as the website stated delivery would take 9–10 days. However, my item did not arrive until 1st April, weeks later than promised. There was little to no useful communication during this time, and the tracking provided was unreliable.

The dress also arrived too late for the event I had specifically purchased it for, making it effectively useless. On top of that, the quality was extremely disappointing and did not match how the product was advertised.

When I contacted customer service, I was only offered partial refunds (starting at 10%, then 20%, then 30%), unless I agreed to return the item at my own expense. The return address provided is overseas, meaning the cost of returning the item is unreasonably high, often more than the item itself.

Most concerning, I was advised to “declare a low value” when returning the item to avoid customs issues. This is highly inappropriate and raises serious concerns about the company’s practices.

After looking into other reviews, it is clear this is not an isolated incident. Many customers report the same issues, delayed delivery, poor quality items, and difficulty obtaining refunds.

Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

Honestly i wish i read the reviews here because the reviews on their page is false. The quality is so poor, not flattering at all, you can tell it was made cheaply and the material is the worst. Avoid, the delivery took a very long time and i have asked a full refund because its embarrassing to wear the outfits especially spending almost £100. So disappointed

Do not order from this website I ordered a dress 28 th of February no dress arrived or my refund ,I’ve been sending emails with no success .This site is a SCAM

I am going to sue them. Just their misfortune they’ve met me. Those of you who have received your orders are just lucky. They have no principles at all. Why are they still allowed to exist??? They are conning consumers’ money with no shame. I don’t read reviews when I purchase things online. From now on I will ! But this is so daring and rare. After my dress arrived looking vastly different (a whole lot of fabric missing! ha!) from what they have on their website, they offered 10%, 20%, and wow ultimate offer 50% refund. When I refuse they offered full refund but I’ve to send the dress to china! Ha! Gotcha! You’re a china company registered in Netherlands for a scam, most likely selling whatever overruns from the factories. This company should be shut down immediately. In whatever way we complain they will still earn lots of money if most of you are happy with 10% refund. Those of us being conned should get together to sue them for the greater good!

Highly recommend not to use this site! I ordered a dress which didn’t suit it or look right “thin material” i requested for the return details a number of times and the are refusing to send them over and keep offering me 30% discount! I don’t want discount I want to return my item which they should be allowing me to do! Avoid at all costs

Avoid!!! My daughter was caught out by this website. Ordered a £50 dress which was shipped from china. It did arrive after 2 weeks but was terribly packaged & product not good quality at all. Certainly not worth the £50 they charged. Currently arguing with them regarding return/refund. They expect us to ship back to China at our cost or currently offering 30% refund. Dubious as to whether that would even happen. Don’t waste your money ordering from here.

Do not buy from here. I ordered a dress on 08 Feb. Received endless emails almost daily saying "we're processing your order!" "we're nearly there!" "we're working on your order". Finally despatched 08 March and arrived on 10 March. Paid £49.95 for the dress, it looks nothing like the photographs of the dress or the review photos, it's cheap thin material that's see through. The photo was of a corseted bodice with boning, the dress i received had a different neckline, no boning. Returns process is awful, i have spent 3 days emailing asking for the return address, i was offered a 10% refund and then a 20% refund, they will not provide a returns address. Their website doesn't detail the returns process. I am still arguing for 100% refund.

Ordered a dress on 14 Feb. For weeks got endless emails almost every other day saying "we're processing your order!" "we're nearly there!" "we're working on your order". Finally arrived on 18 March. The dress itself is nice but don't use this company if you'd like your item in less than 6 weeks!!!

Scam company. The pictures are taken from other websites and the items are a cheap copy (genuinely nothing like the picture and unwearable.) also came with marks on, and now will not answer the phone to refund me.

This is just a scam website, no customer service and no returns. The item is just a cheap copy they’ve got from another website. Wish I’d checked trust pilot first.

I placed my order on the 24th February, in time for Eid. Going a few weeks on, still not heard anything, I’ve emailed got no response. I think the website is a scam. Please don’t order

Very poor experience returned a dress and paid for postage and haven’t been refunded for the dress. Do not use this company

I have asked for a return address as the Dresses I ordered don’t fit. I have not received a response. At this stage I am still trying to find a way to receive a refund.

If I could choose no stars I would.

I ordered two dresses weeks ago and they still haven’t been dispatched.

I got an email saying one was now unavailable and was offered a credit note!!

I obviously requested a refund and they are now asking for me to send bank details, I have never been asked for this to get a refund before.

I tried to cancel the second dress but apparently that has now been sent to their fulfilment centre so can’t be cancelled and they requested my bank details for a second time.

I’m now going to contact my credit card and see if I can just stop the payment.

AVOID this site is my advice, wish I’d read the reviews first, a mistake I won’t make again.
