The floor bed works fine. Got it set up in about an hour, though some parts were a bit fiddly.

Good bed for the price. It's simple and effective, though the packaging could have been better to avoid minor nicks.

I was very excited to order the infant floor bed from this company. I placed my order and got notification that the bed had shipped. After waiting a month in a half, I reached out to Montoddler through email to get update and see why my package had not delivered. I did not receive a response. I then used their instant message system and messaged them on social media with still no response. Frustrated, I left a review here and left comments on social media explaining my situation and FINALLY they respond and let me know they will refund me and follow up with FedEx to ensure I still receive the bed as an apology for totally dropping the ball on my order. They then asked me to delete my review and comments. I did and asked that they remain in contact regarding my order. I received the refund however they have again gone silent and are not responding to me and I still have not received the bed or any follow up. I give up since I did receive a refund but the waste of time and effort is frustrating. I ended up going with another company.

Nice little bed, easy enough to set up. My daughter enjoys it, and it fits nicely in her small room.

Spent $495 dollars on a twin floor bed that does not fit a standard twin mattress. I confirmed the measurements via email before ordering to ensure it would fit. Standard twin mattresses left a gap between the mattress and frame making them unsafe for a small child to sleep in. After reaching out to montoddler for a refund and return they stopped responding entirely after I provided everything they asked for about the purchase. I ended up having to dispute the charge through my credit card since they stopped responding and I could not get more details on a return or refund.

Wasn't sure about spending this much on a toddler bed but after 4 months of use, I can say it's worth it. The plywood is holding up great, no warping or wear despite my kid's best efforts to test its durability! Easy to clean too - just wipe with a damp cloth.

After researching dozens of floor beds, we chose this one for our twin toddlers and bought two. The birch plywood construction is solid - much better than the particle board options we saw elsewhere. Took a while to assemble both but the end result is great. Our twins love their matching beds and being able to get up themselves in the morning (sometimes too early!).

This review is for the full-sized Montessori House Bed we recently purchased. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by its quality and regret not being more careful before buying.

First, be aware that the advertised “aggressive discounts” are not time-sensitive. They seem to be offered all year, which means the “discounted” price is actually the regular price—and it is quite steep, for reasons discussed below.

Quality of Materials
The bed we bought is made of plywood, which is a lower-end wood that often contains formaldehyde. Most parents would not want formaldehyde in their child’s bedroom. Plywood is also prone to splintering, and I noticed this immediately when assembling my daughter’s bed. For a product intended for children, this is a significant concern. The poor material quality was evident as soon as we opened the box.

Unclear Certifications
The merchant claims the bed meets “stringent regulations,” yet they do not specify which regulations or certifications are involved. It seems unlikely a product containing formaldehyde would meet standards such as Greenguard Gold. If it does, the merchant should clearly disclose this information. I also doubt it would pass California’s Proposition 65 standards. The company mentions “natural oil coatings” and “reforestation” to appeal to environmentally conscious consumers, but these benefits are not detailed enough to be truly reassuring.

Manufacturing Location
The product is made in Turkey. There is nothing inherently wrong with this, but the merchant should be transparent about it so customers understand that part of the cost is allocated to international shipping, not necessarily to higher-quality materials or construction.

Return policy
Realistically, returning furniture—especially overseas—is almost impossible. Even if the return policy appears reasonable on paper, the time and cost required to ship a large, heavy package from the U.S. to Turkey make the option effectively useless. This underscores the importance of the merchant being transparent about the product’s manufacturing location.

Verdict:

We paid $829 for a bed made of plywood containing formaldehyde and prone to splintering. The product appears overpriced and low in quality. After further research, we found superior, U.S.-made alternatives for less money—constructed from hardwood rather than plywood. If you are looking for a Montessori bed, I strongly urge you to conduct beforehands more thorough research than we did.

I'm extremely disappointed in this company. It is difficult to find made in America products for babies, so I was hoping this would be a company that I could trust and keep coming back to. Unfortunately they have terrible customer service. The website might claim they ship within 2-5 business days, but don't be fooled, they don't. They will email you once they have accepted your money and notify you they require more time. A little frustrating, but I was ok with that because I wanted to support an American made company. Then the frame arrived and it didn't have any hardware, I didn't even receive one screw to piece this bed frame together with. So I reached out to the company and asked them to make it right and overnight me the hardware, but they refused and snail mailed it to me. That was three days ago and according to FedEx tracking the package is still on the other side of the country with no expected delivery date. 0/10 don't recommend this company. If they didn't make me pay for return shipping, I would return the bed frame and support a different company.
