I am a first time buyer and honestly had no idea what I was doing, Fiona at MIB was great, she didn’t make me feel daft for not knowing terminology or asking too many questions. Very knowledgable and approachable throughout the process. I also dealt with Dominic who was very good at keeping me up to date with any changes or queries and he also relayed this to my solicitor so I was grateful for his help. Martin who was talking through the insurance, was also very informative. Although selling a service, Martin didn’t pressure me into buying anything. I really appreciated that. All in all, a great team to deal with for my first ever house purchase!! Thank you all so much xx

I was nervous being a first time buyer and not knowing anything about the process. If not for this company I would have ended up buying a property that I would regret in future.I’m so happy I used this them, I can’t even find any fault.Lynn, Fiona and Dominic are just the best in this business.They were quick to respond to any questions.Oh did forget to mention Martin that helped me with Insurance.I know my case was a bit stressful due to my situation which I wouldn’t want to mention here but they were so happy to sort things out for me.They made my buying process stress free,Very efficient from start to finish. My partner and I got in touch with Mortgage Information Bureau as we were looking to purchase our first home together. We met with Lynn who was very helpful and explained everything we needed to know. Dom,Lynn and the rest of the team at Mortgage Information Bureau in Baillieston were amazing from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much hassle or a silly question. They made us feel right at home and well prepared for the biggest purchase we were about to ever make. As first time buyers both new to the Scottish mortgage/house buying system, MIBs mortgage advisor Lynn was super helpful and walked us through each step of home buying, and obviously answered all of our queries. I never once felt like I asked a silly question as she was incredibly open and genuinely wanted us to be successful in searching for our first home. I'd recommend Lynn to anyone, especially young first time buyers. Fiona was also super helpful on the phone, providing updates and advice as the days went on. Again, made us feel like we weren't just numbers and always happy to help. Dominic has also been great in answering questions, and without fail calling me everyweek with progress, even if progress hasn't changed, I really appreciate a weekly call to touch base with each other. He's a real credit to the MIB team. Mr Mrs and I were a little scared of the entire housing market but MIB would 'hold your hand' every step of the way. If you're clueless and a little ignorant to buying a home or need advice like us, MIB is the way to go!

Just completed the purchase of our new property today. The service from start to finish has been amazing. Honestly cant thank the team enough. Dom was great, he kept in contact through every step of the way and made us feel at ease. I would highly recommend using MIB if you are looking to purchase a property.

From the first phone call, Martin and the team were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Despite hitting hiccups with our property and having that fall through and change to a new one, Martin, Fiona and Dom made things so easy and pushed the lenders every step of the way so that no time was lost. They kept me updated every step of the way - if they made a commitment to call me back and give me an update, they would do it. They always do what they say they will do and that is a rarity today.

I honestly could not have been happier with MIB and the service they provided - as someone who has always done my mortgage on my own, on this occassion their experience, knowledge and ability to press lenders into quicker turnaround times was invaluable.
