Total failure.
Began loan process six weeks out, delivered everything they asked for the day they asked for it. A week from closing I find out that the lender "needs to approve" our closing attorney. No idea what that entails or why it didn't start a month ago, but fine.
Not fine. I'm supposed to be closing today, and they can't even tell me when I MIGHT be able to close. Just blamestorming and buck passing. I usually never deal with brokers/resellers/middlemen if I can help it; I made an exception here to get a good rate, and now I'm paying the price.

The brokers at Morty were fantastic to work with. They helped secure the lowest possible interest rate, and handled entire process seamlessly through closing. I requested increasing my loan amount, and they adjusted it with no problem or delay in closing. All of the loan details were clear, and everything was above board. We were shopping for rates as we offered for one home. Morty showed a promising rate and hence we booked a call with Derek Gussaroff.
We were waiting to discuss this with Derek Gussaroff. When he called felt like a non-enthusiastic person. The call was the shortest call with any lender. Took 5 min for 30min call. Answered yes or no for most questions. Felt he was least interested in talking to us. I get we dont have an accepted offer but with someone who has a 790 score and 10% down payment, we can be a good potential customer. We expected some enthusiasm to win us as a customer.

I would never choose Morty for my loan. Probably a waste of my time. One word to describe the experience was unreliable.

Morty revolutionizes mortgage loans! I came across Morty on the web and gave it a try, and I am VERY happy with it. The fees and choices are very transparent (more transparent than any of the local lenders I have spoken with), and the service team is highly responsive to emails. My settlement attorney told me that I've got the lowest mortgage interest rate he's seen in years.

Morty’s rates were the lowest online so, I called and shared my expectations with Paige from Morty during my initial loan consultation. She answered all my questions and assured me the process would go smoothly. Their web portal for uploads was easy to understand and navigate. Paige and Jack were available along the way via txt or call, both followed through on their promise. We had normal issues with my general contractor’s completion timeline and they worked hard to keep my closing on track! Great job!!

We recently purchased a new construction house with the help of Morty. I got multiple quotes from various lenders and decided to move forward with Morty because they had the best interest rate and fees. Not only was their rate and fees best in the market, but their customer service was also excellent as well. Due to the construction delays, the appraisal was delayed too, but Ian and Jack ensured my closing happened on time. The appraiser had to revisit the house on the same week as closing. I can't thank Ian and Jack enough for the effort they put in to ensure a smooth closing of my house. The mortgage process was completely transparent and I got a weekly update on milestones. I highly recommend Morty for your mortgage needs.

We had an excellent experience with Morty - from the initial contact with the mortgage broker to our closing. Very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. The whole transaction was complete sooner than expected. Initially me and my wife were a little hesitant to opt for a relatively new company, however; morty was incredible.
I found that they are offering the best deal and price and the way to submit documents online was the most simple I had come across. The communication was always there. Special thanks to Teresa Evans and Ian Mead for all the help, they would respond to any queries we had within few hours and or at most the same business day.

I used Morty.com for my recent mortgage. They had the lowest rates, lowest fees and fastest closing times as I shopped around between a half dozen lenders. I was able to reach someone whenever I needed via text, email or even a phone call. Their initial fee estimate lined up with the actual costs at closing. Very impressive. I would definitely use them again.

Everything from Morty went smooth and was easy to get from start to finish. My contacts were always prompt to reply and answered my call every time I needed them. The largest stresser of the whole process was that our closing costs were so low we didn't think we could get the seller to cover their share. There was a last minute hiccup where something was left off the closing documents but one call to Morty and it was taken care of in under an hour. Would definitely use again and will recommend it to anyone buying a home.

Let me begin by saying that the rates found through Morty.com were the best I could find online. This is the reason I did not give them one star. Morty.com is a business who hires 20 somethings with zero, I mean zero, personal skills. In order to speak to a representative on the phone, one must make an appointment. They only contact clients through email. Communication is very poor. When asking simple questions I was replied to with snarky answers. Unfortunately by the time their true colors showed, I was well into the process of buying a home and turning back was not worth the time and money. If you are the type who appreciates the lowest bidder and does not care about the quality of work, morty.com is for you. If you appreciate your sanity, and like working with a customer service oriented business, Morty is NOT for you. They earn $2000+ per customer they give to loan depot or other similar lenders. They, in my opinion, sign you up, pass you off and cash their check....
