They have missed multiple scheduled appointments this year and they lack any sort of reasonable communication. I had to fire them and hire another company.

Last season it started going downhill and they are officially at the bottom.

First time customer, rescheduled the day of my appointment without letting me know the day of after I took off from work. On the day of new appointment day, another day off of work, I was advised they were in route but 3 hours later still did not show. Customer service on the phone just hangs up on you when you try to cancel service. Not one to leave a bad review but other people should beware of this horribly lazy company

I honestly don’t know what we would do without Mosquito Squad. Before we found them, summers in our backyard were miserable. We live in a neighborhood with lots of trees and standing water nearby, and every evening the mosquitoes would take over. It broke my heart because my kids love playing outside, but I hated seeing them come in covered in bites, scratching until they couldn’t sleep. We even started avoiding family dinners outside because it just wasn’t worth the discomfort.

When Mosquito Squad came out, it was like night and day. The technician was so kind and took the time to explain the whole process, walking me around the yard to show me what he was treating and why. I could tell he genuinely cared about making it safe for my children and our dog, which gave me so much peace of mind.

The real “wow” moment came a couple of weeks later. My youngest had been begging for a backyard campout, but before, I never would have considered it. After the treatment, we finally set up the tent and made s’mores by the fire pit. For the first time, we all stayed outside late into the night without worrying about bug spray, citronella candles, or constant swatting. The kids went to bed in the tent giggling instead of crying from itchy bites. That memory alone was worth everything to me.

What makes Mosquito Squad different is that they don’t just show up, spray, and leave. They educate you about how to keep your yard safer, they’re always on time, and they truly care about protecting families from pests that can carry diseases. I’ve been paying Mosquito Squad faithfully for almost 5 years — $100 every 5 weeks — and I’m starting to feel like I’ve just been throwing money away. My yard is overrun with mosquitoes right now, and it sure doesn’t seem like they’ve been spraying at all.

Their Google listing says they’re “open 24 hours,” but when you call and select the option for current customers, the number is disconnected. My wife and I have been calling nonstop for over a week trying to reach someone. When I finally got a human on the phone, they weren’t even in the same state and had zero clue who I was or anything about my account.

I don’t know if the company was sold, shut down, or is just completely mismanaged now — but whatever happened, this is NOT the service I signed up for. Zero communication, zero accountability, and apparently zero treatments. Avoid at all costs.

Vincent uses meth and still got hired by Jesse Martinez (operation manager) to enter people's home and yard. Jerome films customers backyards when he is on the phone with a girl. I told this to Jesse and Jerome still works there filming your backyard. Ramone stole a gas card. Chris D is just not professional by any means. I know all of this, because the techs wear cameras and I did the audits. These are the techs that have your address, and you let in your backyard!

Ever say "I didn't sign up this year"? They auto renew people and pretend like they have a great repeat business percentage. Google reviews are selected. If you speak against the company, they will never select it. Only posting "the best" reviews is dishonest.

This is how Jon runs this company; he is a liar to his customers and employees. It seems unethical to have a pesticide company and not provide health insurance and ac in work vehicles.

Why pay all that money for unvetted, unqualified, extremely high people to spray your yard.

First of I should have left this review over a year ago But talking with them today about changing my schedule reminded I really need to share this.
If I could say anything about this company my first words are transparency, and heart. They have a love for people, and their service has been impeccable; Stephanie has been so wonderful and easy to work with, and Raymond my technician is so thoughtful, he sends me a text when he is on his way so I can bring in my pups, he's very detailed, I can't say enough about this team or the service, they always work with me, and did I mention it works! Being new to the Houston area, the mosquitos are relentless, I'm so glad I have this service and the help from this exceptional company. So this is how it works after the 1st treatment, you will notice a difference, after 2 treatments that's when you will really notice the change in population, Raymond always takes care to saturate shrubs, drains, and my front and back porches, so let your tech know your problem areas, and of course always do your part by taking care of standing water and keeping your lawns cut. Bottom line is you will feel so much better, and will be so much more comfortable in your home.

First of all,there is no such thing as getting rid of ALL your skeeters, so don't have an unrealistic expectation!
However this company does NOT claim to do that. Their claim is to reduce your current mosquito burden by 85-90%, which they absolutely did! They will also return within the one month period for an additional complementary treatment if there is a resurgence of bugs. Their treatment also kills ticks. They are responsive,timely, and give you an approximate arrival time. So refreshing to do business with a company that is non-scamming,true to their word, and gives great value for what they charge!! To be clear, I am surrounded by 3 large swamps!!

I had an appointment with Mosquito Squad and when they called for the gate code at 10:38a I was on a call so I texted the gate code at 10:39 and was told I would have to reschedule. The tech couldn’t wait less than 60 seconds for my response. I realize they have other customers to serve but this was ridiculous.

I have used Mosquito Squad for several years and I have never had an issue. They are punctual, professional and communicative. Recently, they treated my property in the rain, which was ineffective. I contacted them and they immediately sent another team to re-treat my property.
Excellent customer service and I will continue to use them!!!
