MOT booking sorted

I found it convenient using MotorEasy to find a reliable service centre to perform the MOT, so I signed up for an account. I have received some ad emails for cover and servicing from MotorEasy, which I expected, but also a couple of requests to book my MOT through them (again?). They have sent me a reminder about my MOT date, so that's reassuring.

Efficient and quick to claim

I had to make a cosmetic claim for my car and to do this all was pretty easy. The claim process was easy to follow online and complete. The customer service was great including where follow up questions were asked and it was made clear on how to respond to them. The outcome of the claim was provided setting out next steps and making it easy for me to know what to expect. Smart Repairs did a great job of arranging the appointment and even better they could attend my residence. Overall, I was very happy with the service Motoreasy provided.

RE: Component not listed. Plan B LITE policy not recovered.

Thank you for your review. It is important for our readers to know that no warranty covers faults that are not listed under your warranty plan.

You chose a monthly Lite plan for your 7 year old Land Rover, costing around half the price of the full plan as it requires vehicles to breakdown at the roadside and require recovery as part of a valid claim.

You reported your 360 degree camera not working and the system declined the claim as the component is not listed by your Plan B LITE warranty and you also did not breakdown and require recovery in line with the lite plan chosen.

No warranty can cover faults that do not align within the terms or are not listed under your plan as to do so would be unfair to future and existing customers who would pay by increased premiums.

A manager will be in touch to discuss your case.

Just taken out a warranty with Motor easy. I dealt with Craig Donovan who made the transaction very easy. He was very informative and extremely polite and patient.

Great experience

Great experience with the representatives at Motor Easy they were friendly helpful and knowledgeable. I felt that they really cared and really supported me especially after an oddball issue with the policy.

Great Customer Service

Izzy - She handled the rescheduling like a professional. From calling the garage to book the car in, calling me back with the confirmation that it has been booked in. Calling me with a reminder on the day and calling me when the MOT was done and ready to be picked up.

You need to read the small print.

I had a bit of a problem claiming but that was sorted out by Ryan , good man.
I also had a hiccup with claiming my money but that was sorted out by Dane.
All in all it took the sting out of paying for a big item on the car.

Easy, just as you’d expect given the name

Was part way through an existing gap insurance policy, and changed cars, MotorEasy made it just that Easy, to get a new competitive quote, with added existing customer discount and rebate from existing policy cancellation, making for an excellent quote, from excellent customer service.
