This is my follow up to my original post prior to court from 3 weeks ago. Simon has been simply incredible today in court at my hearing, representing me seamlessy via live link up. From the outset, Mr Collingham approached my case with meticulous attention to detail. Rather than simply accepting the prosecution’s case at face value, he carefully scrutinised the evidence and identified technical and procedural flaws that ultimately proved decisive.

I never got the chance to see him in court because, quite frankly, he had the CPS tied up in knots long before we got there. The day before I was due to attend Swindon Magistrates’ Court, the CPS threw in the towel and discontinued the prosecution because there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction.
