I had a great experience at Oldbury, I found a car I liked, was able to test drive it, had all my questions answered and once I had made my decision was able to drive away the same day, which included a very fair part exchange. Whenever I next decide to upgrade my car I’ll be back to Motorpoint no question.

I was looking for a used car and went to motorpoint in Oldbury I met Jackie the salesman who was amazing throughout the whole process he was very friendly as was the rest of the team I had decided on a 2024 Toyota Aygo X and Jackie explained about the car and deals including the warranty available while a colleague told me about PSP scheme I was then offered a test drive and collected the car the next day so the whole experience was amazing and I would recommend Motorpoint to anyone

The one thing I liked about motorpoint was the salesperson let us walk around the cars on our own and they wasn’t pushy. My experience with motorpoint was on point and nothing was too much trouble for the salespeople. The car I was about to purchase had a fault but that was fixed. Then the purchase was completed. Fantastic experience. Will be buying off them again in the future.

On the whole my experience buying from Motorpoint was good, however when collecting the vehicle at a pre arranged time there was no one available, we were told to sit in the cafe area. After 20 minutes I had to go in search of someone to find out what the delay was.

Was made to feel at ease, listened to what we were looking for, and made it easy to complete with our choice.

From the start of finding a car to the end of collecting my car, the team at Oldbury branch were great. I had an issue with my car i was part exchanging,through no fault of my own caused by a insurance company.
Marin, the customer service manager was fantastic showing support and understanding through out.
Scott and Amy were also helpful and friendly.

The sales agent was helpful and ensured that the car handbook and various other documents were readily available. He explained various functions of the vehicle and answered my questions fully. A pleasant experience all round. I was a little disappointed at the trade in value applied as I had only had the previous car for less than 2 weeks. Not the sales agent’s decision I appreciate but considering the very short time and very low mileage I hoped for better than the amount given.

After an initial good experience with the sale, the moment we took the car, our nightmare began. We spent £24k on a kia sportage - they promised they would fix the petrol cap and a scratch in the paintwork on the boot. As soon as I logged into the app after picking the car up and driving it a short distance home, it told me there was an engine fault with the car- so Motorpoint must have known about this when they sold the car. The engine maintenance light came on shortly afterwards - less than 24 hours after purchase. Customer service has been shockingly poor since this. Their only response has been for us to take the car to Kia. No empathy, compassion, apology for any inconvenience - nothing. No manager is ever available to talk to. Scott said he is an assistant manager but no one else on site that can help us when we went back to Motorpoint and rejected the car -I couldn't be sure it was safe to drive but they refused - not their policy. Also refused us an exchange - this was only an option if we pay an extra £500 fee. The car is currently with Kia who tell me it cannot be fixed until 19th July. I have a courtesy car from Motorpoint because I have demanded one and cannot work without a car. The other items that Motorpoint had also promised to fix like the petrol cap and a scratch in the paintwork on the boot - neither were addressed and Kia have informed me that Motorpoint have not requested that these be fixed at all. We spent £24k on a car on 24th May 2026 which we have had for less than 2 weeks and has a significant fault that has meant it has had to go back to kia and Motorpoint will not talk to us about our options. Noone has called us - we are having to chase them. They do not do what they say they will do. There is no aftercare customer service. I feel like we were conned and ripped off. We are having to look into trading standards and ombudsman options to pursue a resolution. I strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere for a car.

I thought that all the sales people were very helpful and not pushy letting me take my time in choosing the car that was suitable to me. I also thought that the collection of my car went very smoothly with Lucy from Oldbury branch being very efficient. I will definitely be buying from motorpoint again.
