MOVADO DID US WRONG!!!

Bought a brand new Movado watch for my husband for Christmas. It arrived, He was sooooooo excited, until he opened it. They sent us a damaged watch. So I worked with customer service, did what they told me, drove the watch to fedex to ship it back for repair or replace. It has been a while but they finally get back to me to say that the watch is out of stock and they, without talking to me, issued a PARTIAL refund to my credit card (which by this point is fully paid off, thank you very much). They refunded most of the watch price but kept $107 until I complained about it then a second refund for $107 was issued. Cheaters!!! Now i have a credit on a credit card, I am out all of that money until i go purchase something else on that credit card, WHAT?! Not only that but my husband now does not get the watch he was so excited about and i have a credit card overpay.. So i talk to a manager who says it should not have gone down that way (i mean I spoke to the manager AFTER speaking to a condescending customer service rep who told me in essence "too bad, so sad, deal with it") and said she would send me a 3 month promo code to hopefully get the price back down to what i initially spent, yikes. But here's the kicker, she never actually sent the promo code, she just said she did. I cannot believe Movado is this terrible.... MOVADO DID US WRONG!!! I will update once I know the final conclusion... I am hoping they fix this and mend the damaged relationship.

Cheap parts make this a horrible watch…

Cheap parts make this a horrible watch to buy. My Movado watch I paid to have fixed twice, and bought it new just six months earlier. The watch is beautiful, but Movado construction is terrible.

Don't buy anything at Movado

Don't buy anything at Movado. It's a total scam. Looks like your buying from a local webshop but all products are shipped directly from China. So delivery time takes ages and also clothing sizes are NOT European. Bought 2 sweaters that should be oversized but which are to small. Customer service doesn't respond to my email for returning the order. So i just lost a lot off money on clothes i can't wear.

Bestel niet bij Mozado

Bestel niet bij Mozado. Oplichterij uit China. Duurt een eeuwigheid voor je het hebt en produkt is niet meer dan een euro waard. Ze reageren niet op emails ivm retour sturen. Ze dekken zichzelf in op de website dat retourkosten naar China voor de koper zijn.

Horrible

Horrible. Take so long to delivered I believed it is from china. And I bought 2 tb as card with that price they send me 1tb. Never again! Now I doubt their sd is going to work well on my device.

Placed an order with this company on…

Placed an order with this company on July 6th and received email July 8th saying it shipped from Grand Prairie, TX. It is now August 26 and I have not received my items. I had insured my purchase and have sent over 6 emails to Mavado and they have yet to respond. I would NOT order from this company.

Got a $200 faulty watch

Got a $200 faulty watch, customer service will do nothing! The finish is coming off after wearing it a few times, their only solution is to send it to a repair place that I'll have to pay for. If I bought another one I'm sure the finish would also be bad. This is not a quality watch and this company does NOT stand behind their product. THIS is their message they sent to me multiple times: Thank you for your response and we're sorry for the disappointment regarding this issue.

Unfortunately, we do not offer a replacement or a refund for this type of watch. At this time, looking for service centers to look for alternate options to have the links replaced is the best possible solution.

I've never been more disappointed in a company after a purchase.

Don't Buy Movado Watches!!

I was given an expensive Movado watch as a gift in the fall of 2022. I wore it no more than three times and the clasp broke - I nearly lost it as it fell off my wrist - fortunately someone was kind enough to return it. This watch was expensive - the quality is horrible. I was told by Movado customer service there is only 30 days to return an item and to take it to a local service center or mail it to them for repair. No service center near me and it would cost me to send it to them. Save your money and find a better watch company!

I'm very disappointed with Movado

I'm very disappointed with Movado. I changed the battery and lost one of the tiny screws in the back, they refused to sell me one. I can understand not selling a movement, or internal part, etc. but a screw in the back?? They want me to mail the watch to them, they will sell me the screw for $4.00 plus labor, plus shipping it back, plus tax, for a total of around $50.00 to replace 1 small screw for outside the watch. I would never buy from such a company again, or one of their other brands like Movado, EBEL, Concord, Olivia Burton, MVMT, Coach Watches, HUGO BOSS Watches, Lacoste Watches, Tommy Hilfiger Watches and Scuderia Ferrari Watches. neither should you!!! That's my opinion.

Sloppy

Ordered a Movado BOLD Verso. I was eyeing it for about a year and was finally able to purchase it. I bought with the intention of having it be a gift from my wife this Christmas. Watch was just lying in the bottom of the box and I felt it moving around inside the shipping box when I picked it up. It could have easily been damaged in shipping. Watch was not wrapped around the "pillow" to protect it from moving around. I also asked for gift wrapping and it did not come wrapped. Very disappointed. Amateur hour all the way. I know it's only a $1000 watch but hey, it's a $1000 watch. I expected more.

Mechanism replaced less than 12 months

After less than a year, the whole internal mechanism needed replacing. Not what you expect after spending £500. I took the back of the watch off to see whether it needed a new battery. It did but because I opened my own watch the warranty was void. I therefore had to spend nearly £200 to have the mechanism replaced. I wouldn’t buy another or recommend Mavado.

This is a beautiful watch

This is a beautiful watch. I love Movado’s minimalist design. I have A Serio Museum in chrome that is similar, face-wise, but the Bold has a larger, (bolder,) dot at 12 o’ clock. Don’t let the blue on blue throw you. It’s easy to distinguish the hands’ dark blue from the slightly lighter and iridescent blue of the face. It would make a wonderful gift.
