Older event but it was hard to find the right venue for a review. MoveBuddha does NOT response to any inquiries about the moving firm it recommends. My move was totally amateur --the packers left several boxes and when contacted they said, "tough luck not our problem" When I forwarded this to MoveBuddha I got a resounding ""silence"". AT least three attempts by email to contact MoveBuddha resulted in the same ""no answer.""

Great reviews of moving companies. They were the only one out there that did a 3rd-party review of the moving company I was interested in hiring and it help put me (mostly) at ease with my cross-country move.

The process was easy and I was connected to appropriate movers very quickly.

They allowed me to send out multiple requests for quotes to multiple companies at once! They also offered a grant to conduct a review of the company I ultimately selected, and were extremely kind and receptive about my issues that came up with the moving company.

I used moveBuddha at the beginning of my moving journey and really appreciated the simple and straight forward estimates and company reviews. I used it to help estimate my move. It then sent my information to a few companies who then reached out to me to get a quote.

This is one of the few companies out there that provides actual customer reviews of multiple companies in one place. Side-by-side comparisons of moving companies made my final decision much easier, and the results were exactly as we wished for. This website should be the go-to, one-stop shop for choosing a mover to ensure you're choosing a reliable carrier that's going to get your belongings from point A to point B safely, timely, and at the price that's quoted.

MoveBuddha was a tremendous resource as I planned my move. From researching movers and different moving options, to reading specific moving-related articles, they really helped me navigate a cross country move.

I have to agree with previous reviewers. Move Budda has to be getting paid to promote these companies. Some of them have awful reviews on other sites but have glowing recommendations on Move Budda. I am actually in the middle of a move with Safeway and I could not be more disappointed with my service with them so far. However they somehow have glowing reviews on Movebudda and I can't seem to find any other record of reviews for them. These companies are definitely paying for the positive feedback.

MoveBuddah connect me with great moving companies And provided me with valuable information regarding my move across the US. They significantly Reduced my work for Not only Finding reputable moving companies that will assist my move, but they also connected me with them.

I came across "moveBuddah's" web site via internet search. I am very happy that I did. I learned a lot after viewing and reading all info on their site. Their move calculator is an easy tool and is pretty much in the ball park of what moving companies will likely charge, at least in my case. The information was invaluable to me. I learned a lot in regard as to what to watch out for and what to look for in a good moving company. After making contact with moveBuddah, Ryan emailed me right away! He sent several names of movers available in the state of California that complete out of state moves. He emailed me again three days later with a few more names. The amount of time that Ryan saved me was HUGE. I concentrated on the companies that he referenced, read their reviews, and started my search. Several companies called me, but I did not feel harassed. I ended up going with the first company, but only after speaking many times (not a broker), checking reviews, photos and doing a video (FaceTime) inventory. Thanks to moveBuddah, I found the best moving company I have ever worked with. Bravo Moving's 'binding' estimate was just that! In the end the actual move was a few cents less than the estimate! Nothing broken, amazing movers and I never would have found them if not for moveBuddah!!! I would not hesitate to recommend working with this company for a smooth time saving move! You will not regret it! Take note that moveBuddah is free!

It gave me some recommendations but unfortunately, we had a poor experience with the one we went with. American Van Lines ended up using a partner last minute and it their partner damaged our belongings, did not arrive on time, and did not deliver on time. Will not use again.

All I could say is I wish I researched this website before using it. I had a terrible experience with a moving company that was recommended by this third party website. Not goin to details but missing boxes, incredibly late delivery, and down right disrespectful service. I mean they literally held my stuff hostage. That said I reached out multiple time to Ryan Carrigan at moving Buddha. The only response I got was fill out our survey. I detailed everything and requested action. NOTHING. I wrote a few times asking to speak on the matter and nothing. Maybe they’re all in bed together. Regardless of my assumptions I would not trust these guys as far as you could throw them. No wonder there reviews are terrible.

S.M. posting from Sept reflects our experience exactly. DO NOT TRUST what moveBuddha claims. And the negative review I gave to Safeway was taken down from the moveBuddha site. This is an unregulated industry FULL of unreliable thieves.

Safeway Moving Systems is NOT a moving company. They are a broker. They have no moving trucks and no movers. They simply sell your contract to 3rd party movers that you have no say in. The moving company they gave our contract to had their driver EXTORT money at the door, refusing to deliver if we did not pay an extra $200 cash. They threatened my husband. Safeway was completely unreachable during this time, has still to this day refused to pick up calls, and they have yet to reimburse us for broken items. If you want a moving company, just book with the moving company. Otherwise you must work with multiple moving companies and none of them have to take responsibility for loss of items.
Additionally, the initial price estimate is a compete and utter lie. The total price changed with each moving company. And what were we to do? They had all of our belongings as well as our contract. Once again, Safeway was completely unreachable once they had our money.

Used moveBuddha to compare moving options between Los Angeles and San Diego and got some pretty good intel out of the process. It's not perfect, but the estimates were pretty good with gas prices rising and in fluctuations.

The most helpful part is the filtering of moving companies and the reviews. There are tons of movers to try to choose from so this is a big convenience. The cons are that you still have to work with the moving company directly, but I've seen the quality of options increase and we ended up using PODS for the move.

Movebuddha promotes fraudulent broker companies and I just wasted 1h talking to a guy from safeway moving systems that almost lulled me into believing him. Look anywhere else for reviews of these businesses and you will quickly find that they are terrible. Movebuddha seems to get some form of kickback because they try really hard to justify Safeway moving systems poor reviews on yelp! Why would you do that unless there's something in it for you?

I'm trying to move a container from Atlanta, GA to Portland, OR. MoveBuddha estimated a cost of $1,500 to $2,500. PODS quoted $5,700 for the move.

Do not use this site as a reference or use whatever company references this company. They are a scam. I had the worst experience moving due to this. Learn from my mistake and do not use them.
