Blake Barnett repeatedly advanced statements and arguments in court that were not accurate. This approach backfired and worked against her/him/they/them
She presented herself as a strong courtroom attorney, but that was not reflected in the performance we saw.
She laughed during proceedings, which drew the judge’s attention, and the inaccurate statements also drew the judge’s attention in a negative way.
Billing was extremely high. She repeatedly suggested prolonging the case; it felt like the goal was to increase fees rather than resolve matters efficiently.
I emailed my concerns multiple times to Kama, the managing attorney, and received no response at all.
I do not recommend Blake Barnett or this firm.
