Beware of ticket fee
Website encourages online purchase, but purchased my ticket at the museum. Could only receive email receipt (not the problem) but when told the total amount I said the price seemed higher that ticket prices. Response was “taxes”. It wasn’t until I left and looked at the email receipt that it showed around a 6.6% fee charge in addition to 8.25% tax on the total. I called to ask what the fee was and was told it was for their payment system. I asked if that I would be charged the fee if paid in cash. They said they cannot accept cash. Why should the customer be forced to pay for their processing system when ticket prices are so expensive for a short 45 minute tour?
