Quite terrible, tbh. I have been using it because I want to listen to audiobooks, BUT you can only listen to one book per month. I have Listening Books and Calibre audio because I have problems with my vision and they don't always have the books that I want to listen to. The local library digital selection is dire, so I gave this a try. Today was supposed to be the renewal day and I can't pick the book that I want to listen to this month for some reason. Tried contacting customer service and they are useless and didn't resolve the issue at all (one even closed the chat before they bothered to resolve it.) I do have it for the music, too, but the wifi cuts out constantly on it and I have to restart songs constantly. When you don't have a subscription, Amazon inserts ads between the songs of albums that you've bought, which ruins the listening experience. Overall, it is poor. I only bother with the music because HMV is crap at having albums from Nuclear Blast and other niche metal labels.

Don't bother trying to pay for individual songs on amazon music. They either take your money and then you can't play the song or it gets shuffled wirh other music.what's the point not everyone wants to pay for unlimited but most songs you pay for get hidden now and it shuffles to other music.

Tried Amazon in Ireland - put me onto the UK they were unable to tell me why, with my payment details they couldn't connect me to music for our eco dot? Emailed: Called again same process no result: tried the chat line it was like talking to Rufus : copy and past replies mostly with no answer. Can we assume Amazon music in Ireland is not up and running? Are the Irish team are not dealing with this? It's odd, so many loop holes in their system - and music is not on Amazon.ie - as available in Ireland - they are advertising it at 5.99 monthly but when you get onto the UK it's 17.99 - any ideas what's going on??? Customer Satisfaction - NO - no help: no response and No music after a fruitless and wasted day on Amazon!

Having been a prime member since it started, I was disgusted to find all my downloads that I had paid for removed by Amazon when they upgraded to unlimited 2 years in. Having to pay for everything over and over is disgusting. Prime is a total waste of time, whether it is music, video, or general. Which ever you go for, you always end up paying over the odds for a trash service

Having a long term loyalty to the amazon brand including fire TV etc. I have just cancelled my music unlimited subscription in favour of spotify because it won’t work with apple car play in my car. I listen a lot in the car and the ability to say ‘hey siri play the rolling stones on spotify’ is invaluable. On amazon music i have to navigate to the app on my smartphone (which is illegal whilst driving) start alexa and ask her to play something…. Then if i want to play something else I have to reset the app and then go through the same procedure…. So unlike amazon to be this user unfriendly

We were trying to start Alexa music and by mistake we were subscribed to an expensive packages which we didn’t need. Called customer care and our problem was solved quickly, I spoke to Kara and one other person who sorted our query and we got the right music package with Alexa we wanted. So thanks to Kara and other team members who quickly sorted out my query.

So sketchy, basically forced us to sign up for it just by having Alexa. Keeps trying to play from it and charge us, even though have asked it to only play from Spotify. What a load of Big Brother fascist garbage.

The app has a pop up that is timed perfectly for you to press when you are about to press play. Predatory is too polite. Then it's almost impossible to find how to get a refund and speak to a person. Amazon music is part of prime but you still get adverts.

I recently tried Amazon Music for a month, I last used it maybe 3 years ago but left as the Apps were so terrible.
Unfortunately they are still no better, always crashing on my Phone and Fire Stick. The music quality is excellent but what is the point if the way of listening to it is so poor.
The whole App needs ditching and another one writing from scratch, no amount of updates will fix it.
Just trying Qoboz and so far the App is 100% more responsive than Amazon Music.

Very very overpriced for the service it offers. Price has hiked multiple times, pure greed from Amazon here

So wife's got amazon prime, amazon music, and I asked why if you are paying for this service do they still spam the ads?

Shame on amazon, if I pay for a service I expect to not have your ads after every song!

Hi I saw an online offer on Google for 3 months free Amazon music trial, I followed the link and it said open to non existing customers, I noticed today new customers, as soon as I signed up I was charged, I got onto customer service who informed that because I had already had a free trial middle of last year I did not qualify, even though I was not an existing customer, I had not seen the small print snippet one has to scroll too at the very bottom explaining the terms, this was I felt very misleading as unless you scroll to the very bottom of the page the terms are a tiny small print snippet easily overlooked, but does say not open to previous trial customers but since seen after the fact ok, I felt that should have been prolific on the main pane really as above and below sign up buttons are there, so the terms can be missed very very easily, not a little snippet that you had to scroll too, which I did not see at the time, I immediately cancelled expecting refund, but had to go through service again, after explaining everything, I was given immediate refund and two months free trial, which was very nice of Amazon, I currently have a trial with Apple music so its good to compare the two to see which I prefer and which to me is better sound quality. Amazon really need to be more specific regarding trials and eligibility on the main page and not sorta mislead customers with something that you have to really look for, my review would have been a total dumpster if not for the excellent customer service I received, Amazon have given me really good customer service, I cannot fault them.

This is worst music app I’ve ever experienced. Nothing is in any logical order, and offering three months for free and restricting its use isn’t acceptable.

I listen to one playlist on shuffle mode everyday. Everyday, when I fire up Amazon music, it hides my one playlist where I have to trawl through looking for it. Now, it's completely disappeared. I presumably have to set the whole thing up again. Youtube will at least play the music I want, albeit with adverts. Amazon music is clearly a waste of money

By Chance i looked at my orders on Amazon , to find they had taken money for Amazon music !, I did not agree to have this and was surprised to see it was around £99 per year ,I contacted them and they said i had clicked a free trial at some point a few months ago (although i do not recall doing so and have not used it ) The point is there was no communication asking if i wanted this service , or mention that the trial was ending , it seems they hope people just forget and then they just take money from your account , so beware of any free trials

Today we had an issue with our account when we noticed that funds for an unknown subscription were being taken by Amazon Music. I contacted them via the chat function and in less than ten minutes everything was sorted out - Brilliant customer service on this occasion. Amazon could teach other companies a thing or two about customer care !!

Just to say this to everyone. Don't bother getting this amazon music app it's useless and when I was getting the amazon music app for one months free trial it Cancel my membership after two days so I will say this to everyone Spotify and apple music are far better and another music apps are accuradio and jango music app and these apps are free so don't bother with amazon music app

It's absolutely pure rubbish. I just signed up for a trial, and found out nothing on it works. I cannot play anything, it says playback errors. Are they for real, asking people to pay for they crap?

I don't subscribe to Amazon music anymore as don't fell I get value for money.
So today I chose ,for free to listen to Luther Vandross but Amazon decides to shuffle it with similar music, that's fine I expect that, but they mixed Katy Perry with Luther Vandross!!!! Yes you heard it Katy Perry!!!
Now don't get me wrong I do like Katy Perry,but she's hardly in the same genre as Luther is she.
Obviously Amazon want to get me so annoyed to the extent they can get me to subscribe to the service!!!
Well if you're reading this Amazon music I will not be blackmailed into this service,shame on you and your dirty tactics!!!
