In my day job I am a partner in a tax firm. My part time passion is as a singer songwriter and storyteller. I have written 65 songs thus far from my home in California on the guitar. I am a 12 year voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammys) . I am not a full time musician making a living in the music industry.

I was skeptical that Muniversal's offering:
Unlimited remote sessions for $199/month
80+ session musicians ready to record on your track
Mixing & Mastering with Grammy-winning engineers
Production, Songwriting & Marketing advice.

What? $199 per month flat rate for unlimited use of professional studio resources? This can't be valid.

I must say that in my first experience so far Musiversal has kept it's promises.
I have found the professional music productions pieces I have been missing to bring my songs to their fullest potential. They have all showed up on time as scheduled ready to dive into and deliver their session work.

I am excited to be working on my first song with Musiversal. I booked an ensamble of talented artists to help me create the male / female duet song I heard in my head when wrote I first wrote it in a draft form.

I first booked my first session on March 25th, 5 days after I became a member. This first session was with a marketing professional to discuss my goal to pitch my songs for sync licensing in film and television. Her experience was more directed at the social media end of music marketing which I will use later. My second session was with a production professional to design the plan for the musicians I wanted. He helped me to design a schedule for the proper order to build the score. In my first 18 days as a new member I have completed 10 sessions. They included a marketing expert, a producer, two sessions with a drummer, a guitarist, a pianist and two sessions with a male vocalist and the first of two sessions with female vocalist as well as the first of two sessions with a mixing engineer.
I like the quality of the work and it is on par with the other studios I have worked with before.

I have schedule 4 more sessions this coming week with a cellist, a violinist the 2nd half of the song for the female vocalist and a second session with the mixing engineer to be completed by April 23rd. I will then book a final session with a mastering engineer to complete my own personal vision of my song.

Wow, one song in a month. I simply schedule each online session from my home computer. No driving back and forth to studios. I log into a live recording session with each professional and then get the results uploaded for me to review shortly afer the session ends.

Now keep in mind, that I have hired two other music studios in the past to produce 8 other songs of mine . Each of these other two professional studios did a fantastic job. The experiences were similar to each other. I utilized the producer and studio musicians and post production resources of those two studios. The average cost to produce each song was $2,500. Compare this to the cost of producing one song with Musiversal. I paid Muniversal $199.00 on March 19th, 2025. That is their monthly flat rate. I have completed 11 out of my 14 sessions from Mar 24th to today April 12th. I have 5 more session to go so that my first song will take a month of sessions to complete. $199 vs $2,500 per song is 8% of my previous music budget cost per song . At this rate I could feasibly produce 10 to 12 songs for the previous $2,500 per song past studio production costs. That give me more that 10 times as many mastered songs with the same previous budget for one song.

This sounded too good to be true when I spoke with the head of Musiversal in my "get to know you" interview they conducted with me. Well so far, It is being delivered as promised.

Now for some of the downsides. Musiversal is not for everyone. If you need to complete an album of a dozen songs in the next 90 days the booking times on shared resources will not deliver at their flat rate per month be able to deliver for you.
The sessions are 30 minutes on average so you have to be prepared to get your work done in that studio session time allowed or book another session later. They also do have a Premium - program to hire a producer to handle everything for you a flat rate of $1,500 per song .

I've had several sessions now with Musiversal artists. From the booking process to receiving track files, it is just a blast to have pros contribute to my songs. Such a brilliant idea and so well executed.

Do not join this site. If you decide you want to cancel, . They have to “approve” your cancelation and will not and continue charging you.

Musiversal is a life-changing service for songwriters and producers. In fact, I love it so much, I asked them if I could open a second account. There are a wealth of session players, engineers, and other relevant music professionals available. Sign up for Musiversal and take your records to the next level.

With 45 sessions under my belt, I would consider myself an experienced user of Musiversal. I have not found anywhere that has the level of musicianship, the ability for musicians to co-compose on the fly with you, and get sessions done between a half hour and one hour, all for 200/month.

I would be nowhere near putting together my full album release, without the services provided through Musiversal.

I have used keys, percussion, drums, bass, pedal steel, and cello musicians, not one disappointed. It is without a doubt, hands down, the best music service I’ve been able to find.

I would recommend this company to anyone who is serious about making their music professional. It has taken me, with a limited budget, to a level I would not have attained in such a short period of time.

When I get to the podium, and look out at the crowd, I will have to thank Musiversal for giving me the opportunity to work with world class musicians, and make some truly astounding pieces come alive. Truth.

Musiversal is an excellent way for me to record and track music. The artists are super talented and fast. This platform allows me to track the different instruments of my songs at an extremely reasonable price. Thank you for creating this new way to get music to the next level.

I have recorded 3 tracks and have had no issues. The players are top notch, read great, and are very nice.

My niche is latin/jazz and I'm very happy with all the great musicians I have been in contact with.

As a songwriter (not a professional) in the pop/rock vein looking to have quality recordings of my tracks, thru Musiversal I have access to top-notch singers and players and am able to really give new life to my songs, many of which were written many years ago. Musiversal is really a dream come true for me.

Where to even start? I've only scratched the surface of what this services can offer, and it's already an insanely bananas service for a working producer. It won't make sense for everyone, of course, but for active composers/ producers, this is ridiculously good, if you come to sessions prepared. If you're not, I think it will still be very useful, but the 30-minute session format favours those with well-developed parts, and that is the real trick to the service. I sincerely hope Musiversal keeps growing. Amazing way of working and highly recommended!

Musiversal provides limitless options for songwriters who want to record material but do not have the means to get it done locally. The platform opens the world to an extensive roster of top-notch players and grand arrangements are achievable. We have done eight sessions so far and have had a solid experience each time.

My impression is that you will get out what you put in. Make sure your music is in a form that is ready to be recorded. Create charts or have the team do it for you so the musicians have a chance to show up prepared. Do that prep and you will not be disappointed with the results!

We were a bit intimidated to get started due to the level of musicianship but once we took the leap all that anxiety went away. Everyone has been so kind and helpful. At the end of the day everyone involved just really loves making music and that is the beauty of the platform and why I think it works so well.

I have really enjoyed using Musiversal. I have booked several sessions and the musicians are very easy going and produce amazing music. I create my music with virtual instruments, so hearing real instruments with emotion was a great experience. I highly recommend this platform.

I have found Musiveral provides a way to take my productions up to the next level. All the musicians are both talented and professional. I make use of the pre-production charting and production advice as a sounding board to my production ideas.

I recently had a “quick mix”, a professional mix done in about an hour. The file sent wasn’t right so I contacted Customer Support and they got me the correct file and it came out great. Support is usually pretty quick to resolve issues.
