MyBond are lifesavers! I had to come up with a bond on very short notice. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Mybond. Moving is stressful and expensive enough without the added pressure of having to come up with 4 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent. 25% of the bond is a worthwhile price to pay for the peace of mind that comes with knowing you won’t be homeless!

Do not recommend mybond at all! I was at work, I do not get breaks and had to make multiple phone calls to mybond for my application. They SUCK at communication! I called to see if they got my application, they told me my guarantor needed a clearer photo. Okay why didn’t you email to let me know? So I did that, I then sent an email to make sure all was good and no reply. I had told Sean on the phone this was urgent and needed to be paid today, he couldn’t care less. He is so blunt on the phone. They didn’t get my fee so when I finished work I rang my bank to get them to process the payment, it went through. The next day I was ringing from 8:30am which is apparently when they are open but no one would answer! So again I had to ring while I was working. Sean told me I had paid the trust account. Ffs. I paid the account that I was given in the email! So I was told I’d need to transfer another $462!!! I did that then tried to ring my bank to process it but it would be a 30 min wait which I couldn’t do as I was working. So after sending mybond $902 (which I’m getting back), I cancelled and was forced to pay the bond from the only savings I had.
Mybond was VERY stressful to deal with and they were not helpful.

Absolute joke of a company. Would not recommend. Paid the first week and then told they couldn’t help!

Very straight forward process. Simple to complete application & the follow up required information was easy to do all online. Definitely recommend for those that might find them in a tight spot with a surprise rental approval.
