No idea how the reviews are decent. In my opinion they must get friends to write them. They were half decent a number of years ago however our last experience with my Wife's car was horrendous! We booked for a service and told them we were concerned about a few things with the cooling system. 2 months (Car returned 4 times) and $2.5k later the car was in worse condition than when we gave it to them. We actually, don't believe they did anything to the car on 2 of the (1 week) stays! Anyway, they then tried telling us there was something else wrong and we should let them fix, for another $2+k (why would we let them take anymore money from us?). We took it to another mechanic that were professionals. Unfortunately had to pay an additional $3k to right all the wrongs. Avoid this place at all costs! We will also be going to Consumer Affairs. They blatantly lied throughout the 2 months.

Very friendly counter service and completed the job promptly.

- booked 10am drop off, 11.30am pick up. Dropped off at 10am, wasn't done until after 1pm. More then double wait time. Should have foresight to see potential fitting issues and advise of extended wait before hand.
- no print out of wheel alignment given. Was this really done?
- speedo was left on distance til next service display. Why is it in this mode when I came in for tyres only?
- tyre lube not wiped off.
- no tyre shine applied

Good range of tyres in stock for my Impreza. Helpful and knowledable staff

I noticed a headlamp was not on, the serviceman replaced the bulb in about 20minutes. Often one notices lights not operating on cars, I presume many people never check such things.
Staff polite & helpful.

Had another positive experience at mycar Tyre & Auto Burwood East. They repaired my puncture for free as part of the tyre care package for the new tyres that I had purchased last year. The wheel alignment service was also very smooth and I got the car back exactly within 2 hours as promised. Great experience!

I only recently tried mycar after a bad experience in the past, where work was done & received an expensive bill.

This recent visit was for a wheel alignment I was extremely happy with. So I decided to get the basic service a few days later. The vehicle is an old bomb I'm getting back on the road & it's got allot of faults I'm addressing. The oil change went fine. Except they said I have cracked ball joints & required a wheel alignment. The ball joints have just been replaced & mycar did a wheel alignment a few days earlier.

This has blown my trust in using them again which is unfortunate as they are a 10 minute walk away.

Over the past few years, I’ve had several flat tyres, usually discovering them in the morning on my way to work. Every time I called, the team was able to take my car in and repair the tyre quickly. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The repair usually takes a couple of hours, so I leave the car in the morning and pick it up later in the day. I’m very satisfied with the service, the quality of the repairs, and the kindness of the team
