Booked for a Saturday morning at 0900 and told that my car would be ready by 1030 with two tyres to change. At 1100 received a call saying that the tyres were not in stock and the only ones they had were $120 extra. Car eventually finished at 1300 and I had to cancel some appointment.

The tyres fitted were the Mycar own brand so I assume the staff were on commission to sell. Strange how the ones I ordered the week before suddenly were not in stock

Will not use again and would advise others to steer clear to prevent being ripped off as other reviews have recently noted.

The staff were very professional and provided excellent service. I had a punctured car tyre, and when I called for repair, David gave me an appointment the same day. Once I took my car to the workshop, they fixed it in less than half an hour. I’m very happy with the service.

I bought 2 tyres and got the tyre plan but when I took the car back less than 6 months later because the tyres kept going flat, they refused to repair the puncture, just pumped up the tyres again and told me I would need to replace them because of the wear on the shoulder of the tyre from them going flat from puncture. My advice? Go elsewhere. There are better companies who stand by their tyre plans and warranties.

When you change a cars Tyres and give it back to the customer and the Tyre is flat you need to have a good hard look at yourself. Rubbish service and won't be returning.
Being asked afterwards to provide a 5 star rating is insulting to say the least.

Car was towed in as unable to start and also I mentioned AC made funny noises. Then was quoted over the phone $485 for a starter motor and $360 for removal and replace starter. Later got another phone call advising A/C filter needed replacement ($140), which I declined. When I picked up the car the next day, there was extra $180 on the bills for labour and the noises from A/C still existed.
It turned out the A/C fan needed a replacement when I took it to another mechanic, which solved the issue.

I took my GWM Cannon to MyCar at Harrisdale after being offroad, and clipping something that knocked the steering wheel alignment out, and caused a heap of sensor alerts to come up.

Was pretty worried that this was a) going to be expensive, and b) difficult to get fixed as GWM is relatively new to the market.

When I went to pick it up, I expected bad news and a large bill.

What actually happened is my vehicle came back in tip top condition. Wheels aligned, all the sensor faults correspondigly cleared, and a bill for $89 which is less than half of what it costs at TyrePower.

James at MyCar Harrisdale was an absolute superstart. Told me exactly what had happened and what to watch for in the future.

Highly recommended.

Workmanahip was not to standards. No next service tag placed. Customer service was not pleasing. Not hearing customer for any issues.

Guys are very genuine to recommend and advise on various options to choose from. No must sell attitude. Very prompt, attention to detail when asked for more details about the product. Very much recommend MyCar Harrisdale !!!

Outstanding Service – Above and Beyond Expectations

I had an exceptional experience with My Car Tyre & Auto in Harrisdale. The team went above and beyond to help diagnose an issue with my Audi—something that was likely outside their typical scope of work, especially given the complexity of electrical problems in European vehicles.

Despite having no planned booking and virtually no notice, they got me in quickly and treated me with genuine care and professionalism. I truly felt like a valued customer from start to finish.

It’s rare to find a team that combines technical skill with this level of customer service. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff here, and I won’t be taking my car anywhere else from now on.

After completion there were no any notification to pick up the car. After the estimated completion time (approx 2 hours later) my wife had called number of times, but there was no one to answer the call. She had to reschedule her day due to this. Really dissapointing!

Booked online written quote on email charged $28 more for the tyres, refunded when queried but had to go back. Told the store couldn't adjust the price must have been the booking but booking still showed correct price, then told my be computer problem, Told on call centre alignment would be 10% off if we wanted to get store said doesn't happen always one price, wasn't on the quote so can't really argue that one.

I don't normally review but the guys at Harrisdale were fantastic. Sorted engine management issues out, found crossed threads from a previous service and fixed, as well as being on time, and calling me about issues.
