I recently had my car serviced and was advised that I needed new engine mounts. I was also told that these parts could not be sourced by you, but that if I was able to obtain them, you would fit them.
I purchased brand new engine mounts from Repco — the same supplier you order from — and brought them and have the receipt. However, I have now been told that you cannot fit parts supplied by customers.
These are new, genuine parts in their original packaging, and this sudden change in approach is disappointing. It feels as though your policy is discouraging me from returning as a customer.

I brought my LDV ute in for a service yesterday and paid $900. I was told it failed the battery test and it had other issues, which I said I couldn't afford to fix at the moment but over the next few pay weeks I could. New battery was quoted $399 for a replacement, but it needed to be ordered in, which meant extra cost and time without the car. Since I’ve never had starting issues and no battery warning light has ever appeared on the dash, I chose not to proceed. Mycar person never said it was urgent either, and car started fine on pick up.
Today, however, my son went to start the car and the battery was completely dead. Given this happened the day after the service, I’m concerned. I usually have both my cars serviced here, but Im really considering going elsewhere.

The staff member was able to handle my requirement by supplying the items required. His assist was welcomed .

Fast and convenient

I find Mycar at Westfield Helensvale are very consistent in providing good service at a reasonable price.
I received a call suggesting what was needed to be rectified in addition to my vehicle service but no pressure was applied on me to proceed even though in this case I wanted to go ahead.
Pick up time is pretty well calculated as well.
Barry explained everything in detail prior to paying.

I had a flat tyre and found it convenient to drop the car off and walk to the shopping centre. I was disappointed with the non reply I got when I asked what had caused the flat tyre.
There was also a lot some greasy substance left on the rim edge near the tyre.

My wife had problems with her Kia Carnival with the tyres griping on our steep drive when wet, All options were discussed and options explained in detail. 2 new front tyres fitted and no further issues, I also got the battery replaced as the one in was almost completely dead. Great service by polite and very knowledgeable staff.
