My car is getting on in years, so in quick succession (after many years of no problems), I needed the radiator and hoses replaced. Then I needed the gasket and ignition coils and some other things replaced.
Stefan was extremely helpful, kind, accommodating, and got the repairs done MUCH faster than what I thought, despite them being a very busy shop.
I felt looked after, and he took the time to explain things because I’m “not a car person”.
Couldn’t be happier, top bloke, top job!

Took my car in to get two new tyers 6 months ago. After which I found that my car had a slight wobble at higher speeds. Didn't think much of it, until I took my car for a service (not at myCar). Mentioned to my service center that there's a slight wobble in the car, and asked them to check it out. Turns out, myCar put two different sized tyers on the front of my car, and this was causing the wobble. Took it back to myCar and they replaced the two front tyers with new ones (of the same size) for free. I was ready for an argument, but they were very apologetic and offered the two free tyers with no issues. Plus I needed two rear tyers, so got them done too. Great service. Very friendly. Yes, yes, they made a mistake, but it's how companies handle issues and mistakes which truly show you what they're like. Highly highly recommend!

Always trust their service and repairs. Very courteous and ready to assist and dont have to wait weeks like some for service. Maybe have a bit more change for cash paying customers.

Andy was clear about the timing required for my repairs which was about 2 hours. I was subsequently picked up and just as I was arriving home 30 minutes later, I got a text to say my car was ready. We had to turn around and drive back again. Had I known it was going to be so quick, I would have hung around. Otherwise, I’m very happy with the service and will definitely return.

Job well done and excellent value. I highly recommend the team at MyCar Northcote.

My air conditioner now works a treat. The hardest part was trying to get someone to answer the phone to book my car in.

I’ve had a lot of trouble finding trustworthy mechanics in the past so I’m grateful to have found mycar Northcote. Good vibes and even came away paying less than I expected care of a skilful repair! Super friendly and quick turnaround. Would recommend

*1/5 Stars - Extremely Disappointing Experience*

I'm writing this review as a warning to others: beware of the current management at [Car Service Center]. I've been a regular customer at this location for some time, but my latest experience was an unmitigated disaster.

I brought my car in with a specific issue that I had diagnosed myself: a faulty alternator. However, when I explained the problem to the store manager, he dismissed my concerns out of hand. Despite my clear explanation of the symptoms, he insisted that the issue was with my car key, not the alternator.

What's worse, he spoke to me in a condescending tone, as if I had no idea what I was talking about. Newsflash: I'm not a mechanic, but I'm not clueless either. I know my car, and I know when something's not right.

The manager's arrogance and refusal to listen to my concerns are a major turn-off. All he had to do was take my diagnosis seriously and check the alternator. Instead, he wasted my time and energy, and I left feeling frustrated and disrespected.

I feel sorry for the mechanics who work under this manager, as they deserve better leadership. I also feel sorry for the customers who will unknowingly walk into this store, expecting competent service.

To the owners of [Car Service Center], I strongly suggest you take a hard look at your management team. The previous manager was knowledgeable, courteous, and actually listened to customers' concerns. Bring him back, and you might just restore my faith in your business.

Until then, I'll be taking my car (and my business) elsewhere.

Ps i rang ACE Mobile Mechanics came within half after describing the issue with the vehicle, he came with a brand new alternator and it took less than 20 minutes before i was on the road again. Thanks to them.

They were so helpful, fixed prices and super organised. My car was quite beat up when it got to them and the made it almost new! Thanks for being so friendly and helpful guys!!

A bit chaotic when I arrived as I had to pack in a no standing zone as all the allotted spots where taken.
