I booked for a service. Mechanic rang me and said he had found 2 problems. One wasn't urgent and could wait to next service but he went on to tell me that my brake line was rusted and could burst at any time resulting in immediate loss of brakes. He would write a quote when he had time. When I picked up car I asked if it was safe to drive. He just said "you have been driving it like that".He said to watch for a warning light on the dash while driving and if it came on to immediately pull over and call a tow truck as the brakes wouldn't work immediately.
I book my car regularly for service and do repairs as required bcause I want to feel safe. I don't feel safe driving my car at the moment and feel that considering what he had advised me the car should have remained at the garage until repairs were carried out.
I am extremely disappointed with the service I had from this particular mechanic and doubt that I will return to my car

Excellent and respectful service. Sound advice and expertise . We have been using mycar Tyres and Auto at Pagewood for a number of years for our 15 year old Mazda. It has been well maintained and serviced and if there has been an urgent issue they have responded on the same day, no waiting for an appointment.
