Had tyre for nearly 2 days and said they tried calling me but had no missed calls. Then was told tyre puncture could not be fixed and new tyre was $390. Picked up the took to another tyre company they fixed it on the spot free of charge for the inconvenience of being mucked around by Mycar. Won’t be going back.

Mitch and his team are true myCar customer service legends.

I called in yesterday desperate for help with a new tyre I had bought at the Toormina myCar store the week before. The tyre had been leaking pressure a short time after I picked it up but was told it would take a few days before the sensors pick up the new tyre. I was told to put some air in but to come back (an hours drive for me) if I had any issues. I was not impressed.

I got home ok but then 2 days later had a very traumatic drive to Sydney from mid north coast and ended up calling roadside assist who put my spare tyre on so I could finish my journey and go to a myCar store the next day. After the spare was put on I had to drive in slow lane on Max 90kms all the way.

Yesterday I went to myCar Pennant Hills who told n
me there was nothing wrong and it was a faulty sensor and I'd be ok to drive 5.5 hours back home. That wasn't the case and within 40 mins I was in trouble again. I contacted them again and they once again said Id be fine to continue to drive as it was a faulty sensor.

They did not seem empathetic to a solo traveller driving through regional areas at times with limited mobile coverage. I felt dismissed yet again.

I pulled into a garage and checked the tyre pressure which was down to 27 and still dropping, this matched my car sensor. So I knew it wasn't a sensor issue.

That's when I realised my only option was to take a 20km detour and get to the nearest myCar at Waratah.

Best thing I did. I was greeted by Mitch and his team who listened to my whole story so they could gather facts, showed empathy and committed to resolving the issue. I also explained I had surgery the day before and was not feeling well so Mitch reassured me they would get onto it straight away.

The Waratah legends exceeded my expectations and while they couldn't find anything wrong with the tyre they replaced the tube which ended up being the problem not the sensors. I was able to get home without any issues.

I am very grateful to Mitch and his team. I was blown away by their kindness, problem solving approach and communication. If ever I need myCar in the future, I'll be timing the booking so I can travel the extra distance and go back to the Waratah store.

Went in for a simple rego check. Mitch was incredibly honest, helpful and transparent throughout the process. Gave me options and made sure I understood what my car needed and why.

I actively recommend this shop to everyone. They are always kind, supportive and professional. They never make me feel stupid or condescend to me. They always support options and education and have got me in last minute more times than I can count. I could not rate this place higher.

Easy communication, super friendly, work done well within provided estimate timeframe.
Also overheard direct apology to another customer, where the work went over time, a quick reschedule & price drop was offered - to which the customer declined - it wasn't about 'cheaper', it was just good customer service being supplied with honesty of the situation & the customer was greatful for that

The team were able to squeeze my car in on short notice and were super efficient with their work.

The staff are always friendly and helpful at "my car Waratah" and the service is predictable. I work nearby so there's added convenience. However, I have incurred staggering costs to service my car, with expensive add-ons that I could not verify at the time due to my lack of mechanical knowledge. I have been routinely "stung" and so have my female colleagues, recently. This feels targeted and sneaky and has created mistrust among myself and my colleagues and I will have to look for another mechanic.

I was informed of the work progress. I was disappointed the job took so long.

Don’t like up-selling, but everyone does it, and your staff were nice about it. And the experience was very easy
