Israel-facing domain, but public seller details point to Gibraltar and support has been unresponsive

I placed an order on mydogtags.co.il on 2026-03-26 (order KAYQKTIUW, invoice 686817) and paid ₪272.80 by credit card through a Stripe-hosted checkout.

I ordered from this site because it uses a .co.il domain, a Hebrew-language checkout flow, and an Israel-facing presentation, which gave the impression that it was local to Israel or at least clearly set up for straightforward delivery to Israel.

After placing the order, I reviewed the site’s public contact and policy pages and found that the seller is publicly identified as ATRYOS DMCC Ltd in Gibraltar, not Israel.

My concern is not only about delay. My main concern is the mismatch between the Israel-facing presentation and the publicly listed merchant / legal details, together with the lack of a satisfactory written response after I contacted the merchant directly.

As of posting this:

- I have written to the merchant and requested shipment clarification or cancellation and refund if delivery cannot be clearly confirmed
- I have not received a satisfactory written response
- I am preserving the order confirmation, invoice, checkout screenshots, and correspondence for complaint / dispute purposes

I am posting this to document my experience and to help other consumers make informed decisions. If the merchant resolves this properly, provides shipment details, or issues a full refund promptly, I will update this post accordingly.

Update: After my complaints, reports, and direct communications, the merchant has now processed a full refund of ₪272.80 to my original payment method. I can confirm that the financial side of the matter has been resolved by refund. I am updating this review for accuracy. My original concerns about the site’s local Israel-facing presentation, the lack of clear shipment proof, and the need for escalation remain part of my experience, but the merchant did ultimately resolve the matter by issuing a full refund.

Dispatched from Europe not NZ!
They say dispatched in 24 hours but you wait over a week because it comes out of Europe.
Tracking information is scarce. Still waiting for our order 10 days ago.
*update, this company's parent company Custom Wizard LLC graciously offered a refund... if I delete this review.

this is not an NZ company - it uses an NZ website as a disguise.
Shipping is from Gibraltar and takes up to 4 weeks not the 5-8 working days as on the website.
No tracking, no contact ph no, just computer generated replies when trying to contact them.
The dog collar we received was not leather but plastic and recycled leather.
To return the product it has to be shipped to Gibraltar.
Would not use again or recommend in any way

0/10!!! Do not buy from this company! I made an order over a month ago and it still hasn't arrived. This site isn't located in New Zealand it's overseas and a huge scam. I've contacted their so called customer service and they won't respond to my emails. SCAM!!!

This website is deceptive and intentionally misleading. The .co.nz domain is clearly used as a tactic to trick New Zealanders into believing the company operates locally - it does not. Orders are shipped from Switzerland, not NZ.

I purchased two items that were advertised with a 5–7 business day delivery window. These were meant to be Christmas gifts for a family member, so I ordered 2 weeks early to guarantee they arrived in time. It arrived 3-4 weeks later, long after Christmas had passed.

No tracking number.
No updates.
No accountability.
Just radio silence and pathetic communication.

This is easily the worst online shopping experience I’ve had. Zero transparency, zero customer care, and zero urgency to fix their screw-ups.

Do not buy from this website.

Thought the website was a New Zealand one wasn’t till my tags didn’t arrive in the normal amount of time NZ postage take that I looked at the website properly and realised it is an overseas address. Switzerland to be exact once the tags arrived a few weeks after ordering. Did not get a tracking number and no one responded to my emails wondering why it was taking so long and where the order was. I am also not sure the tags are actually engraved. Time will tell I guess. Would not recommend this website.

Good product

Very happy with the products we received. The name tag is the perfect size for our little pup. Great that there could be writing on both sides so we could put his name and our phone number. Also happy with the lead, poo bags, and toothbrush we purchased.

Super happy with the product and service. I wanted some tags so my dog didn't have to wear the large Auckland Council tag while at home but still have contact details in case she got out. The website is an NZ based address but the product comes from overseas. Price was still reasonable and arrived in good time with continued communication from the team. I would use them again.

The tag took about two weeks to come, it said it’s a New Zealand site but they make them in Switzerland and shipped out of Spain very misleading.
They did however respond to my emails promptly.
But when the tag came it was blurry and you could barely see the writing on it.
Won’t be buying off them again.

Easy to order, excellent customer service and fantastic product

It took a while to arrive which is at no fault of the company. They assured me it would arrive soon

Great choice of products. Took a little bit to work out how to put in the letters for the labels, but got it sorted. Only took about 2 weeks to arrive in NZ and we received what we ordered. The blue collar with Mac's name and our phone number is really good. We are happy with it.

It took a long time to come, it is a NZ company but the actually tag came from Switzerland… so that’s why it was late in arriving.

Avoid these people, it is not NZ BASED
but getting shipped from Switzerland. Ordered on the 10th, still has not arrived! I needed a tag for puppy school/peace of mind, but it’s well past that point, I’ve brought from our local pet shop instead. probably got scammed at this point, I recommend looking elsewhere.
