Thank goodness I was introduced to this incredible agency 9 months ago. Having Louise and her excellent team of befriending carers helping me out, has been invaluable. I literally don’t know what I would have done without them. They are so kind and understanding of my elderly mum, and an incredible support in helping me. My mother has had some lovely days with the MyFolks agency, both in her home, and when taken out.
The carers are all intelligent, interesting and entirely capable.
If you’re wondering if you should give them a try… really, don’t hesitate. You won’t be disappointed. I know that my mother is in safe and kind hands when she spends time with any of the carers that Louise supplies.
This is a much needed service, enabling senior people to be in their own home for longer. Louise and her team put the client’s dignity and safety as their top priority. Their conversation with my mother is always about her interests, and she loves the stimulation and friendship that they offer.

I've been using MyFolks for about six months now and they have been brilliant looking after my Mum. Mum gets to see a regular visitor and I always receive an after visit message from MyFolks letting me know how she is getting on. A fantastic service and a very easy companmy to deal with

Absolutely fantastic organisation. Trying to juggle caring for two elderly parents alongside work and other commitments is a real struggle, but MyFolks has been a lifesaver. Louise and her wonderful team have provided invaluable companionship for my parents helping them to avoid loneliness when I have to be at work, and helping me to avoid carers burnout. Their service is thoughtful, personalised and compassionate at all times, delivered by a team of people who truly understand the challenges of frailty and dementia. Highly recommend.

Thank you MyFolks!! After my Wife and Louise met by chance we discovered MyFolks. We'd been negotiating with my elderly mother (independent, strong-willed,etc) about getting some support from carers. She point blank refused! So we introduced the notion of a companion from My Folks.
From first meeting it was a great success. She looked forward to her visit each week nd got on famously with Carol, who was marvellous.
I can't recommend this service highly enough - if you need support but you're not at the point of full nursing care - give them a call.

Where would we be without MyFolks!!! Absolute lifeline - right from the outset when we needed less support, to gradually increasing the hours, and even working along other agencies - the MYFolks team have made such a positive impact on the lives of my parents - and therefore me too.
