Not What I Expected

Honestly, I expected much more and I’m quite disappointed. Considering the prices, one would expect international shipping to include customs fees, not to have the customer fully responsible for them.
I do like the brand’s concept — the charms, bracelets, and necklaces are cool and trendy — but once I received my order, the quality did not meet my expectations. What disappointed me the most was the colour. I ordered both the mega necklace and bracelet, and they are almost orange in tone, while the charm clasps and some of the charms are a completely different yellow gold colour. I honestly don’t understand the choice of mixing different gold shades. The result is not harmonious at all, and for the price paid, this is a big letdown.
On top of that, after only a few uses, one of the clasps broke — again, something you really don’t expect from jewellery at this price point. I would have returned the items, but I didn’t, mainly because I assumed I would have to cover return shipping costs as well as customs fees for an international return.
That said, I do want to mention that the customer service was fast and kind, which is definitely something to appreciate. Unfortunately, after all the strong marketing and branding, you expect the same level of care and dedication to be reflected in the actual jewellery, and that wasn’t the case for me.

Outstanding customer service

I ordered 2 necklaces, there was a long delay in getting them to me, but the customer service absolutely made up for the delay. They were outstanding. I will be shopping with them again in the new year, and recommending them to everyone. My necklaces arrived and are beautiful! Thank you FRKL

Great advertising, poor quality products

Basically I’m just really unhappy with my necklaces that I just purchased and I can’t seem to navigate the website to find customer services to alert them to my sheer and utter disappointment. Thankfully they were not bought full price as the actual products look very cheap and nothing like the flashy advertising and lovely packaging they arrived in - it’s just a shame that the actual products are poor quality. Not a company I shall be returning to in a hurry!

Good experience - and always check spam

I am editing my previous review which was annoyed about a customs charge to Ireland, and a glitchy clasp on an earring. I had said in my review that I emailed customer service and received no reply.

Well, I did receive a very helpful reply, and it was in my spam folder, d'oh.

I'm happy now.

Hero Charm Hoops Midi Earrings - Awful clasp

I purchased the Hero Charm Hoops Midi Earrings in November and couldn't get the clasp to close on one of the earrings. I emailed customer services and received a replacement pair without quibble quickly which I appreciated. However, having now worn the replacement pair 3 times I am having the same issue with both earrings. I have nearly lost them and a charm in the process! Clearly there is an issue with the manufacture of this type of clasp. I have emailed them today and await a response but I don't feel confident a replacement pair won't have the same issue!

Extremely poor customer service

Re: Order number 9396/9621. The customer service in this company is so poor it is clear they cannot cope with the orders they are receiving. I ordered a number of items and when the parcel arrived the charms were missing from the parcel. I contacted customer service who said they would send replacements and offered me a goodwill gesture which I was happy with and I expected the situation to then be resolved. No - nearly 2 weeks later I still have not received the missing charms. The tracking shows they werre due to be sent and a label was generated for them but they were never posted or received by Royal Mail. There is no proper customer service via phone or online chat so the only way to contact the company is via email which they then take 2 days to reply to and still do not resolve the problem. I need these charms for a present and don't know what else I can do other than keep emailing and waiting for a reply. In the meantime they keep sending me marketing emails trying to persuade me to buy more when they have not yet fulfilled my original order! I would avoid them and once I actually get my charms (hopefully!) will not buy from them again as it is not worth the hassle!

I absolutely love this brand but the…

I absolutely love this brand but the customer service at the moment is very bad. I ordered a few pieces in the sale recently and three weeks later they still had not arrived. I got in touch with the brand to see where they were and to see if they were lost if i could get a refund. I wrote to them a few times and got zero response. Next thing i know i got a refund without any correspondence. Im a bit annoyed as i would have liked to reorder or at least find out what happened. It was just rude not to get a reply in my opinion. As much as i love the product , i wont be ordering again as i have no way of knowing if the same thing will happen again!

I love myfrkl!

I’ve bought a few pieces from myfrkl now over the last few years. I have the onyx and pearl necklace, the midi hoops, and quite a few of the charms (the lobster claw, the key, the oyster shell, and a few of the seascape ones). I swap and change the charms around both my necklace and earrings. I always get asked about where they’re from and complimented about them. All the time!
The customer service is second to none, just amazing. When I queried if I could get something repaired, they sent replacement items out to me. I was so impressed! :)

nice jewellery but the charms fall off

Very nice jewellery but the charms easily fall off. I bought a bracelet and 5 or so charms for my wife’s birthday, 2 of the charms fell off while she dancing that same day. We almost lost them both. She’s not a breakdancer so having them fall off so easily is a shame.
Would recommend so long as it’s not worn during an activity. She loved the charms and it looks nice, just not that sturdy

Love the design, the quality not so much

I absolutely love the design of this necklace, the colour, the chain, the lovely size of the heart, it’s gorgeous. However, I’m very sorry to say the quality is poor. The first one turned up and the heart snapped off the chain as soon as I tried to remove the plastic cover. The replacement was sent quickly after I complained (really appreciated this) but with no follow up email to apologise which was disappointing. The heart is very lightweight and feels cheap and the clasp on the chain also feels poor quality. That said it looks really good on I’m just really careful with it because it feels so unsubstantial. If I’d paid £25 for it I wouldn’t mind but at £70 I’m pretty disappointed.

Exchange process

I ordered the mega choker necklace which I loved but I felt it was too short for me so I exchanged it and paid the extra for the mega necklace. I found the customer service team via instagram messages were exceptional and answered all my questions really quickly regarding an exchange and the steps to do this:)
The necklace is great quality and has a decent weight to it. I also have 2 of the charms bought previously which are great quality. Will definitely collect more.

Love my lobster claw!! So beautiful! Wish I’d got a chain for it but will definitely be buying from you again! Saw the claw in Red otherwise I hadn’t heard of you.
