Final Update: 13/2/26
Since my initial feedback on here, Jacob from the Student Services Team has been wonderful in assisting me with my concerns. He has followed up on everything he said he would and investigated why my emails were not being received. It has been a much better experience dealing with Learning Online and working through these issues to resolve them.
Further Update: 10/2/26
After receiving a response from Jacob, a customer service officer from the Student Services Team, I am happy to report back that Learning Online is working with me to resolve the issues I have had including reviewing why my emails haven't been going through and providing me with further resources. Hopefully we will get everything sorted now.
Response to Update 10/2/26 - Do you communicate internally with each other? It doesn't appear that you do. It is interesting that you claim you have not received my emails, yet, I have finally received a response from one of your Student Services Team - after I have sent numerous emails. Hopefully, I will be able to sort out what is going on.
Not a good company to deal with. Very friendly and supportive when signing you up (for obvious reasons) but if you want to find out further information it is difficult to get in contact with them. They don't manage the payment processes, so you have to contact a second company if you have any issues. And trying to contact someone to find out why my login details don't work is like trying to get blood out of stone (I'd probably have more success with this though). If you don't have issues, I am sure you will have a better experience. Just be warned, if you do have issues/troubles, trying to contact them will be impossible unless your query fits within their square box of 'FAQs'.

It was very interesting and very easy to complete especially for the people who are interested doing a course. The people who should do it is the people looking at doing gardening at home as I found it much better to deal with things in my own garden to date.

I made an enquiry about the advanced horse care course and received an email from “Tom from My Learning Online.”
I requested email or text communication as calling doesn’t work for me. Despite this request, I received multiple calls from them.
After Tom acknowledged my request after 3 or 4 call attempts, I was told I could send an email or text his number. I made my enquiry over email immediately after being told this information, however I never received any help, I was completely ignored. I then asked a question through text on the 14th of January and also got completely ignored.
I’ve lost a lot of trust in this company and feel the unprofessionalism is a big deterrent in my personal experience. Am I crazy for expecting a response within 11+ days?

Formal Request for Refund – Misleading Course Representation (My Learning Online)
Dear My Learning Online Support Team,
I am writing to formally request a full refund for the course I purchased through My Learning Online, titled [Course Name], which I enrolled in on [date].
At the time of enrolment, the course was marketed and presented in a way that led me to reasonably believe it would provide qualifications suitable for use within the Australian workforce, including meeting employment or job-related requirements. I enrolled and paid a significant amount specifically for this purpose.
I have since discovered that the course is not nationally recognised, is not accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), and cannot be used to meet employment requirements, licensing, or recognised career pathways in Australia. This information was not made sufficiently clear prior to purchase, and the overall presentation of the course created a reasonable impression that it would be suitable for employment purposes.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, services must be:
Fit for the purpose made known to the supplier, and
Not sold through misleading or deceptive conduct, including representations about outcomes, suitability, or employment use.
Given that this course cannot be used for the purpose for which it was purchased and promoted, I believe the service was not fit for purpose and was sold through misleading conduct. Any disclaimers in fine print do not override consumer protections under Australian law.
I am therefore requesting a full refund of all fees paid.
Please confirm in writing within 14 days how this refund will be processed. If this matter cannot be resolved directly, I will escalate the issue to Consumer Affairs / Fair Trading and lodge a formal complaint under Australian Consumer Law.
I hope we can resolve this promptly and amicably.

I found this online learning experience extremely disappointing. Despite paying the full course fee, my access was revoked due to time limitations that were not clearly communicated beforehand. Greater transparency would have prevented this issue. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this cour

We feel so stupid for going ahead with them- seriously don’t bother. Industries do not recognise these “qualifications”. GO TO TAFE OR OTHER VET APPROVED RTO’S!!!

The layout structure for the learning platform was very organised and made the learning experience enjoyable. Feedback from assignment submissions was very well received and gave me things to think about and pointed myself in the right direction of what I need to be learning to advance animal welfare knowledge. This course has given me the tools to start an animal welfare journey. Moving forward, more reading on Animal welfare, through books is something I will be doing definitely be doing to gain further knowledge on all animals.

I have absolutely loved having full access to my course 24/7. The tutors definitely know what they are talking about and they are very invested in our growth and Learning. The tutors are extremely supportive. The only thing that I think could possible need improving is that some of the topics in the modules need a little bit more care when writing them because there are a few spelling mistakes but thats pretty much it

Learning Online should be shut down. My autistic child was pressured and tricked into a so-called “enrolment” over the phone with no written contract, no paperwork, nothing in writing at all for a course costing more than $3000.
To make matters worse, they funneled the payment through Payright finance, which means we are now locked into debt for something my child never properly agreed to. This setup is deliberately designed to avoid regulation and accountability totally unregulated, totally unfair, and completely unethical.
Learning Online has preyed on a vulnerable young person with autism and left our family in financial and emotional distress. This is not education, it’s exploitation.
I have already reported this to the ACCC (Australian Competition & Consumer Commission), AFCA (Australian Financial Complaints Authority), and every consumer protection body I can. I strongly urge anyone considering this company to stay far away their practices are misleading, predatory, and cruel.

Shady practices, no written contract, no transparency - Learning Online rely on glowing Trustpilot reviews, but our experience was the opposite. No contract or terms were ever provided just marketing emails and a high-pressure phone call (to someone with a disability) that they now claim is the “enrolment contract.” When asked to produce paperwork, they couldn’t. Instead, we got evasive replies from different “managers” all using the same email account.
If a business can’t provide a simple copy of a signed contract, what does that tell you? Be extremely careful before handing over your money.
