I found My Nurse's Life after a bad experience with another platform, and I'm so glad I found it!

I had originally signed up for an online course for £84/mo, but quickly found that course to not be very good. While it was affordable and had a lot of content to get you started, it also included quite a bit of AI slop and I found a handful of errors in their .pdfs and training videos. Sometimes you get what you pay for I guess... I was terribly worried that I was doomed to fail my OSCE if I only used that platform, so I went looking for other options. That's when I found My Nurse's Life!

I signed up for the 5-day in-person course which included access to their online training platform for 90-days (which the trainer graciously extended for me for a week while I waited for my exam date). The training course immediately proved to be worth the investment (£795)! The training videos were comprehensive, organized, and easy to follow along with. I also had access to a WhatsApp group with the lead trainer where I could ask questions if needed.

The five day in-person course was also incredibly helpful! You do need to complete the online course prior to attending the in-person training if you want to succeed, as there is just too much information to cram into five short days. However, the in-person course helped solidify the skills I had learned online and iron out the minute details of how to complete the skills and documentation correctly for a pass.

For those who are still looking for study platforms, I highly recommend the My Nurses Life course! The OSCE exam is significantly more expensive and difficult to take than the N-CLEX (not on a theoretical level, as it is intended for new-to-practice nurses, but on a practical level as nursing is quite different in the UK). This is not an exam you want to take without careful preparation!

First, I want to say, I did pass the OSCE on my first try. This course was extremely helpful. I want to make that clear, this was a big help.

To be honest, I was disappointed with several aspects. Some of these videos were old, I think some were over 4 years old. Although that doesn't make them bad, there were errors I found throughout the courses that should have been caught and corrected long ago. For example, one that actually made me laugh and cringe was in the diabetes demonstration. The nurse in the video calculated the weight loss from 54kg to 48kg was 4kg. Then they started counting on their fingers, and still got 4. How could you not catch that over the years.
I started googling other instructors videos for better clarification. These should be redone, and the audio improved.
For anyone who wants a course that WILL help you pass the OSCE, this is a great resource. It just needs a big updated and more attention to detail

I had full support during the review and the trainer is really approachable. Would have been better if I was told that there is an online module before going through the f2f sessions. Not their fault though. Its entirely my employer’s fault as they did not explain it to me fully and didnt give my password until 2 days before my training.

My nursing life is the best platform if you do not want to waste your money on other resource centres just go to my nursing life and book your training with them all authentic preparation with best course material practical preparation and much more you will definitely not be disappointed with you decision of choosing it as part of your nursing journey .You want to clear your exam without wasting your time and money get yourself enrolled.

My nurse life was really impactful. The coaches are very professional and knowledgeable.
They boasted my confidence level. I am glad I spent so much for the training.
I would like to recommend a break room with hot water in it for students. During winter, food get cold and people need hot drinks. This would improve the overall experience of students there.

I passed my OSCE in 2023…my first sitting was not a successful one but only because i made mistakes due to anxiety not that i wasn’t prepared.MNL training and their learning materials and strategies got me through and prepared me for my OSCE EXAM and i am thankful for the experience i had with them…the training was only a week but it felt like a whole month or even more because it was thorough….thank you so much Helen and the MNL team for the opportunity and the experience.

I took OSCE training for a week with My Nurses' Life school in addition attending it's online module .I must say it was amazing,very systematic and informative with a lot of practical on hand experience.i felt confident and familiar with OSCE exam content.then after 10 days i passed OSCE from first Attempt.

Passed my OSCE on my first take. We're a big group at that time when I had my review in Liverpool and although that is the case, I never felt that we were rushed or the time is inadequate to learn all the needed information for the exam. Quality trainers indeed!

I would start by saying that Excellence is one of my values. So when it was time to sit for the OSCE examination. I specifically looked for the best trainer in the UK and majority of those I asked recommended mynurseslife. I trained with Helen and her well curated trainers. I passed my OSCE at first attempt. I took the OSCE exam after training with My Nurse’s Life (Helen Frances Romnes). Hence I am proud to say that I successfully passed in first attempt. Before my training, I planned to self study to sit for OSCE and when the time came I panicked. The main reasons are; one, 15 minutes was very challenging to complete the task. two, I wasn’t sure what could possibly be a critical mistake, three, few of my brilliant friends who self-studied for OSCE, failed the skills section for absolutely bogus and arbitrary reasons. (still failed). I couldn’t risk myself on it. There is no way the OSCE examiners would judge any registered nurse to be an incompetent nurse. However I learned that nurses failed when they had no training, so I decided to enroll in MNL. The session is led by experienced trainers covering all aspects of skills & assessment along with mock assessments. With Helen’s intensive training session, all the candidates including me expressed interest saying they felt incredibly confident & well-prepared. They are only delivering the OSCE session to groups of no more than 3:1 trainer ensure that every candidate gets individual attention & support. I would recommend you to join NML for your OSCE. You only need to attend the class, watch the practical videos several times and the magic will happen.
