Didn’t ship my order after almost a…

Didn’t ship my order after almost a full month. Considering their website said items would be shipped within a few days. Contacted them 2 weeks after to inquire and was told they were having issues with their shipping company and that it’d be shipped soon. After another 2 weeks they ended up cancelling and will see if I get my refund back. What a waste of time.

Never received order

Placed an order a month ago and it never shipped. I asked at the two week mark and again at the one month mark and they blamed vague "technical difficulties". If you can't ship orders for over a month after they're placed, you need to warn customers up front and not take their money.

Products arrived damaged or in bad…

Products arrived damaged or in bad shape. One bag of flour ripped open. All three items will expire within the month or two. Only wanted to give store credit for the damaged item. They do not give refunds.
They don’t care about customers at all. Find somewhere else to buy these products. You will waste your hard earned money.

So many issues with one order.

This was my second and last purchase.

They can't keep enough stock on hand apparently because things sell out quickly. I had items removed from my cart *after* I've paid for them.

In this order--split into two boxes--there were multiple issues:

*food arrived expired or is expiring within 3 weeks.

*items arrived dented which caused me to believe they sent the items this way. None of the items in glass were damaged, but both items in cans were severely dented.

*communication is not adequate. I had several emails that differed in which items were in which box. One item was listed as shipped on its own, only to appear in a box that was supposedly shipped days after the lone item.

*customer service emailed me to say an item I ordered was not in stock. That's helpful, but that item was never in my original order.

*Another item I ordered hasn't shipped and has no ship date but I've been charged for it.

I've contacted their customer service already. Hopefully they will make things right and replace the expired food. Based on reviews I've seen elsewhere, I am not holding my breath.

An unhappy experience

I was excited when I saw what was available on MyPanier. But their communication was pretty poor, and whenI tried to use their customer service chat (it is either chat or email). They were useless. I had ordered something to arrive by New Year’s Eve, and they shipped other items several days prior to NYE, but not the one that i wanted to offer to guests on New Year’s Eve. It took them 3 hours on the afternoon of December 30 to tell me that they were “waiting for the team” to give them an update, but that they could not confirm that the item would ship as promised and that it would take 24 hours for them to tell me anything more. I told them to cancel the order, and hey agreed to, and then 16 hours later they told me they couldn’t cancel the order.

They are a clearinghouse for other merchants, nothing more. The products can often be purchased elsewhere for less money, and the folks who make the products would be much more invested in treating you well, rather than keeping their customer service costs as low as possible the way MyPanier is doing.

So, in short: I would avoid purchasing things on the MyPanier website. If you have any problems or questions that will require you to be involved with their customer service, you will be very frustrated.

Hit or miss

Hit or miss. They do a great job when you're looking for hard-to-find French products; but they are not careful about selling stale products. It's not uncommon for items to arrive with barely a couple of weeks before expiration date. And beware of anything like chocolate: products are not necessarily stored with any degree of care. A recent box of chocolate-covered cookies arrived totally stuck together and melted. If you're not troubled by such things or, if expiry dates don't concern you, you can probably find what you want here.

Don't trust this website

Don't trust this website. I ordered 6 bottles of French Mustard and 4 of them came opened; mustard leaked all over the packaging. The company put me through hoops to get replacements, wanting detailed pictures (which I sent) but of each and every separate bottle. Crazy for a $6 per item purchase. I guess the customer is never right.
