This course is amazing!!!! It has helped me learn everything I have wanted to know for years! In a simple way to put it… it’s like connecting the dots if you were playing a game. It definitely makes you think and learn and grow… I will say be consistent and that will help so your not going back to remember and it will help you learn more!!!! (That was my personal experience) They have an amazing staff who is with you all the way if you get stuck. It is not even a blink of an eye and they know how to get you going again! The community is huge… I’m in alaska and a guy in New York is helping me out, another person in the class!!! Very professional and friendly and caring… because your goal is also their goal! That is something you will learn as you go through the course. I highly recommend it and have coworkers wanting to start it! It’s a win win… just do your part and that’s the hard part! Though I have some knowledge in PLC programming. Taking this course filled in some gaos and introduced me to some new knowledge and some new styles of programming. I haven’t encountered opportunity to refresh your license in studio 5000 until I get to this course. The tutors made it very easy and simple to understand. I learn new ways of programming every time I train myself using this platform.

Great course! Some background about me, I’m an electrician who works with controls/automation systems. We deal primarily with the install side of things and we have techs who come in after us to program and test. This course has helped me to understand the systems I deal with everyday at a much higher level and has allowed me to move upwards in the company I am at. I would recommend this course to anyone who is interested in expanding their knowledge on automation and how everything ties together using a plc/pac. This was a great experience because it offers a balanced learning environment. It is well structured with excellent teaching videos/lectures and immediate opportunities for hands-on practice of the lessons. This course allowed me to learn more about PLC programming by practice and correcting mistakes, which enables deeper learning.

I’ll start off by saying everyone on the myPLCtraining team is beyond helpful from start to finish. From the day you sign up to even after you complete the course. They really do have your best interest at heart.

The layout of the course is very well thought out and all the material is quite in depth. If you have a question, a few modules later you will find the answer. If not, the team is very quick to respond with an answer, especially when it comes to downloading softwares and technical difficulties because that can be kind of tedious.

It is because of this course that I nearly got a 50% raise from my company! This is because through the accelerated program you get to show hard evidence of what you learned by building a portfolio of programs you build towards the end of the course. This is on top of the certificates they give you as well. There are well thought out challenges to test what you have learned and this will show current or future employers you know what you are doing.

Ultimately, I would recommend this program to anyone who is looking to advance their career in the PLC world or even if you need to brush up on some stuff.

I was impressed with the specificity and the ability to watch the instruction videos and perform each step of the processes we learned together. I would watch a segment, pause the video, then do it myself in the software. I learn better by "doing" and this class facilitates that style of earning. We have access to all the content throughout the entire course. There are step by step instructions for communications, HMI's, Tagging/Addressing, Downloading software, Different types of instructions, Analog, Drives...I could go on forever. What makes this so valuable is being able to learn it in a stress free environment so if a mistake is made its not going to shut down a line or destroy equipment or hurt someone. I do wish there was a class that went into depth on "safety controllers" setting up alarms and faults.. I'm confident with everything I've learned I will be able to develop that into my code. I loved the class and I'm waiting for them to develop a more advaced lesson plan. I would say any Industrial Controls Electricians or Process/Automation Engineers would definitely Benefit from this course. My Knowledge and skills have improved immensley since I started.

My favorites... Having access to Allen Bradley Software like Studio 5000, Logix Emulator 5000 FactoryTalk View throughout the entire course. This software is extremely expensive which makes it difficult to acquire access outside of employment. Making my own programs, making my own HMI screens linking them together, testing what I created...and when it works its an incredible feeling. I only wanted to do it more in more complex situations. The programming challenges are MY FAVORITE!!!!! They gave us scenarios with specific instructions and a specific goal. They created their own simulation logic and screen to run parallel with the logic we created to test how well we programmed. Stephan and David are incredibly smart, creative and detail specific, it really makes this course fun easy & worth every penny. Trust the process and do every lesson possible.

The CPP Accelerated program exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a well-rounded program that provides not only the technical know-how but also the confidence to apply these skills effectively in the industry. Excellent Training & Instructions!! I looked at several training programs and MyPLCtraining offered a wide range of instructions and interaction with others with the same interest. Starting at the PLC-5 Programming basics and progressing to higher levels of programming, and even Robotics courses and much more. My career was in the Turbine Generation & Compression Industry, with Controls, Mechanical, Electrical Field Service for 25 years. Completing the courses allowed me to refresh my memory and update my mental data base of current programming changes and instructions. During this process I was offered the opportunity to pursue my "New" career in controls for a new plant being built. I started with My PLC Training journey in Oct 23'. I'd been interested in learning how to program and troubleshoot PLC's for a while. I also wanted this training so I could move towards working in the automation industry. When I found myPLCtraining.com, I knew right away I wanted to sign up for their training. Each part of the training is fun, easy to understand, and builds on top of the previous section. Stephen and David, the instructors, are very helpful, supportive, patient, and want you to succeed more than anything. You couldn't ask for better instructors! I started this training with the intentions of finding a new career. However, after 6 months in the program, I decided to ask my operations manager if I could get involved in the automation and programming side of our operations and he's fully onboard. I now have software/ R & D trainings in Germany and automation/ power management trainings in Turkey scheduled in the near future. I would not have made it to this point if not for this great training, solid support, and motivation from David and Stephen. They also have HMI Designer training, robotics, drives, and more as they're always expanding their training course library. I signed up for myPLCtraining initially as a refresher for ladder logic programming. Not only has it helped me get back in the groove of programming but it has helped me with new software that I had never used.
