App not fit
just experienced for the third time this month, a five pound parking charge not being stopped on the app, then costi g me £20.
Alternatively the payment doesnt fo through properly and i get a fine. Twice in the last 3 months i have touse the app with the loval authoritie, and Ring Go adds a new level of pressure.
I would give no stars if I could
I would give no stars if I could. This app sometimes doesn't work in places where Internet access is poor. The app charges for using it to park, as the parking cost has an additional admin charge portioned to it.
Finally,von Friday I parked my car in Tooting, which I could only do if I agreed to pay the full session cost £6.40 (even though I only wanted to park for 20 minutes) and then I had to stop the session and they have charged me another £1.22 (the actual cost of my session). Apparently I will get the £6.40 back after 7-10 days. This is if the company are actually honest and competent enough to do so.
I am outraged by this daylight robbery using my cash interest free for many days until Ringo decide to refund me back. How much money is this company making under this practice. Please provide this information under the Freedom of Information Act.
Terrible service
Terrible service. Over a month for partial refund on cancelled session.
I will go out of my way to park elsewhere in future.
Worst app I have ever seen
Not worth one star. Couldn't log in, tried to reset password, crashed, tried to set up new account, crashed every time. Tried multiple times, went around in circles. Terrible app. I pity anyone trying to park in a hurry, you're in for a nightmare!

WATCH OUT FOR SCAM ADS ON RINGO SITE. I used RingGo and the following day I had 2 payments being requested from my Bank account against a company called Corevlt.com. Complete scam - I managed to get a refund of the amounts they tried to claim but I would never use RingGo again.
Hopeless
Parked my car and tried to sign up through the app but never recieved an TXT to activate it.Gave up and left still waiting a few days later, hopeless.

Terrible app, never works. And is fundamentally flawed. Not fit for purpose for the council. How the council have adopted this app is outrageous.

Spent 3 hours on ring go app and website and can't get a receipt they have totally the wrong information
Ring go web chat is designed to frustrated the customer in the hope they will give up and go away they deliberately make out they don't understand and talk about the opposite to what you want they say they cannot take incoming or make outgoing telephone calls even my bank were unable to find a telephone number for them trading standards need to investigate this company
So frustrating what a bunch of crooks.

MyRingGo app wanted me to reset my password, however you can’t just do that. You have to delete your account and start all over again. Ridiculous just to change your password. I don’t even own a car it’s to pay for Vistors parking outside my house. The app is difficult to navigate. The staff at Brent are rude when I asked for help. Unless you are a regular user of this app. You can not simply find Vistors parking section on the app. I have builders come on Monday and I dread to call them again. I’m not tech savvy and I can see the flaws on this app
Parking system, designed to be difficult, with no human customer support, and designed to fine you, even if you try to abide by their T&C
RingGo is designed to make it impossible to pay within time (frequently change the login process, that you're logged out and have to reset, re-enter credit card details, update and confirm your details etc etc) while the time ticks. Even if you try everything in your ability to make that payment within the first 10 minutes and you still fail, then the fine is in the post. Further, there is absolutely no human customer services available, should you require it. I have had all the evidence and a really strong case against them, and they still simply overruled my appeal. I then took it through the 3rd party appeal process, but even that simply overrule without any consideration for your facts. They simply don't care. It really seems that the appeal department is also corrupted by RingGo to just overrule any appeal. RingGo is a total fraudulent scam!
Awful experience
Awful experience - whilst there are a few Rinngo car parks within easy access to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, the fact they are all almost empty tells there are issues & red flags with the process. The SMS & Phone options are literally impossible to complete & twice I've ended up paying more at shopping mall parking instead. Sort this by simple card contactless option & watch revenue increasing.

So frustrating! I notified them a day before my parking was due to let them know I'd selected the wrong date and wanted a refund. Even though I didn't use the parking and gave advance notice, they flat-out refused to refund me. Talk about daylight robbery!
Sat in a deserted carpark trying to get the app to even work
Sat in a deserted carpark, lone female, while ring o sent me confirmation code after code. It then deleted my account and forced me to set up another one. Again, text code after text code not accepted/resent/ not accepted. Eastbourne council need to take a long hard look at this app. It's a fail. Why not try the park by phone app used by neighbouring Brighton? At least it works. Also, I nearly found myself signed up to some travel subscription thingy. I'm now gonna have to check my bank statement to make sure I've not been conned. Absolutely incompetent and dishonest app. Can't believe local authorities use it. A new low. I gave up and street parked illegally, didn't want to, but what are you supposed to do?
Fined after paying using app
I won't be using this app again and deleting from my phone .Very unreliable and tricky to use. Was issued a fine after making paymnt for parking ,Delete .
Poorly designed - superimposes a 'Next' button on top of phone's home screen button
This App is very poorly designed. I had to use it today in a rail station car park as I was collecting someone and needed to confirm that the first twenty minutes were free. Perhaps inevitably, I was immediately asked to reset my password. No problem, I thought, this should be straight-forward (ha!). It wasn't. The genius designers decided to place the App's 'Next' button on top of my Samsung S21's 'Home' button. When I tried to tap 'Next' I was repeatedly brought to my home screen. I almost used up the entire 20 minute's free time in the car park trying to grapple with this awful App.

Used them for first time yesterday. Took far too long to do then charged a fee for the privilege of paying! Won’t use again!
Do NOT use Ringo: you will be fined anyway.
Do NOT use Ringo to pay for parking. I paid for Ringo; however, still received a fine from Cumbria Parking Services for the moments between two tickets. It was not possible to purchase a ticket covering an overnight period. Criminal theft, with no warning on Ringo and no assistance possible.
