MVE WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU

We had a perpetual license with MVE going back to early 2014 but once the company was bought out by Sightview, everything became null and void. Luckily I have paper invoices with all the patients data but for those who only use their program, you are at their mercy and they will take full advantage of that. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU NOT TO USE THEIR SYSTEM. There are reputable vision care programs out there.

What an absolute joke trying to get…

What an absolute joke trying to get through to this company. I have tried all day today with the phone ringing for over 20 minutes & nobody answering ! With the amount if people working in the store you'd think one would pick up the phone as the majority of the time they look like spare parts. I had a simple question regarding my glasses which were picked up yesterday but now they will be returned to store for a refund as any future queries I would clearly need to go to store which I'm not prepared to do. Shambolic store !

lenses are awfull rubbish .

I had purchased Oakley frame and lenses remade after new test the lenses was made again as it was incorrect.
Within 12 months not sure of dates or just over (the lenses which I am extra carfull about are scratched smear all the time so paying for this extra protection is a waste of money really 'lenses after I spent a lot on these, vision express I would not go back to them again for poorest quality lenses I've ever had thanks,

Great for eyes, but the chairs...!

As for a eye care goes they can't be beaten. Their guarantee if the glasses aren't right is brilliant.
Only challenge is the low chairs not fit for those with mobility problems. Despite raising this repeatedly over the years it had not been addressed. When they refurbished, what would it have cost to provide decent customer seating? Precious little if anything.
A devastating oversight. It drives people away.

Inadequate Lens Protection and No Resolution Offered

I recently purchased a pair of glasses with new frames, but just a few weeks later, the lenses already had noticeable scratches. When I contacted the shop, I was told there was nothing they could do. It’s incredibly frustrating—hundreds of pounds wasted, and now I have to go through the entire process again. There appears to be no guarantee offered, or perhaps the technology used by opticians is simply lacking. Either way, something needs to change. This level of service is unacceptable.

Worse customer service ever

Worse customer service ever. Non stop emails and text messages reminding me about eye test. Having spent over £400 on glasses, have not bothered contacting me once in 7 weeks, now claim glasses have been lost or mis placed. Promise of phone call which never came. Six emails with their Customer Service department who needed to know date of birth, receipt details, etc etc, and still awaiting phone call for refund.

I am extremely disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by Vision Express. I had to visit the store five times, only to be treated poorly by the shop manager for expressing dissatisfaction with my glasses.
I was advised to get progressive lenses, which were supposed to allow me to read with the lower part, see my screen with the middle section, and view distant objects with the upper part. However, when I first received the glasses, I could only read by looking through a very small portion at the bottom (about 1 cm), which was highly straining for my eyes. I had to move my head left and right for every row I read, making it impractical for reading a book or study sessions.
After multiple failed attempts to correct the issue, the reading segment was finally improved. However, I still had to move my head left and right just to read an email on my laptop. Despite upgrading from basic progressive lenses to the top-tier option, which should have had a much wider intermediate zone, the issue persisted.
I was then recommended occupational lenses, a compromise I was willing to accept for better clarity when reading and using my laptop at least. However, upon collecting my new glasses, I realised they had not been modified. The shop manager had already decided they were unwilling to continue adjusting my glasses and simply offered a reimbursement.
When I returned to explain that the lenses had not improved, the shop manager greeted me with a noticeably annoyed and rude attitude. When I pointed out that I did not understand or appreciate such behaviour - especially considering the significant amount of my time they had wasted, requiring me to take time off work multiple times - she claimed her frustration stemmed from being unable to resolve my issue. However, it was evident that she had simply lost patience and no longer cared whether they retained me as a customer.
I would like to acknowledge that the rest of the staff were extremely kind and willing to help, but the manager’s attitude was consistently hostile and rude. I am extremely disappointed therefore I struggle to give a constructive review. I believe a better assessment of the customers' needs and making sure you do the absolute best to offer a pair a glasses that can fit the purpose would be greatly appreciated. Not the mistakes are the issue, therefore the attitude of the management could be more helpful and solution oriented.

I had a lovely experience from start to…

I had a lovely experience from start to finish with Vision Express. This was mainly because of Lewis in Sunderland The Bridges.
From speaking on the phone to going into the store, Lewis is personable, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough.
Massive 'Thankyou to him', he couldn't do enough for me. A lovely asset for the Store.

Visited vision express in Bedford. Brilliant experience. Bihari was a very experienced and helpful optometrist and Dagmara went above and beyond to get me exactly the right glasses.

I went to Vision Express at Tesco…

I went to Vision Express at Tesco (Stairfoot, Barnsley). Initially it was a good experience. I got a text to advise my glasses were ready. However there has been an error inputting the information so the glasses were wrong. I was asked to leave them and they would resolve the issue. Again I received a text to say the replacement glasses were ready. The reading glasses were fine. However, the sunglasses were a completely different frame, which I had not chosen. I was made to feel like this was my fault. So now I have to wait again and again return to the store for a third time in the hope that this time all will be resolved. It should not take 3 attempted to get an order right.

Left blind

After 6 months of having no sight glasses. Being told I have cataracts and because of their incompetence. They done lenses wrong and I have got my sight aids on order. I have very low vision now, as going blind. I have had an eye test at a specialist opticians and got told right eye going blind left one very little vision left. The a staff are rude do not give refunds. They will redo your lenses but do them wrong. I have had to pay £370 more out for sight glasses for a little while. I can't have cataracts op not worth it and because of not having sight glasses list out on a holiday month after their incompetence if faulty goods. Be aware they are like a back street opticians and keep your name in your records and invite you for a eye test. The date is now 21/09/24, but this started to happen happen on the date if this date of experience. Vision express uses many excuses on phone to you blame their staff or management or if they don't blame each other they blame the lab. But it's the optromitist, staff, and lab at fault.

Bolton team excellent

Great experience in the Bolton store today. Great help and advice. A good experience for my autistic son .who can get upset in some situations.
The whole family was dealt with by Anisha and Laira, very professional indeed.

Great experience!

It was straightforward and satisfying to choose and buy my glasses in the Aylesbury store. The staff were very helpful and polite, friendly and professional. I love my new glasses!Thank you Vision Express!

Ordered raybans on 12th June

Ordered raybans on 12th June, informed would be ready 7 to 10 days.collected on 20th June, they had 20% discount on fathers day would have saved £50 told today only av on line, no way to check. Asked me would I like a bag yes please, told no bags av

Excellent Service -Thank You!

I went to Vision Express in the Oracle to choose my perscription glasses, service was excellent and the lady that assisted me in choosing the right frame was amazing and very helpful. I ended up forgetting my other perscription glasses and rang into the store who posted them out and I received them the following day! Life savers thank you again for your exceptional service!!
