Same as happened to other posters car was taken away with engine managment light on, told them i needs to be jump started so non runner quoeted £280 next day a call that has faulty electrics it definatly didnt and either i travel to the 75 miles to collect car or take £50

Massive massive scam avoid

I have been scammed by this company.

They gave me the best scrap price
They took away my car after the driver of the pickup truck got me to sign some long winded paperwork
I received no payment so called them.
They claimed my car had an issue with the engine, (it didn't), and so they were now only paying me £50!
I am stuck, they have my car, (now scrapped apparently), and say because of the papers I signed there's nothing I can do.

They've taken my car, lied about it's condition and I have nowhere to turn.

Don't let this happen to you and please take my experience as a reason not to use them.

Scammers stay away

I was originally promised £450 for scrapping my car, and the company collected the vehicle straight away (towing vehicle number is LT10NWR). However, after taking the car, they changed their offer and claimed it was only worth £100.

It has now been over a month, and I still haven’t received the full agreed payment. Each time I contacted them, I was given different excuses: first, that the payment had already been made; then, when I asked for proof, they claimed my bank details were incorrect—even though they had collected them multiple times. After taking my details again, they once more said the amount had been paid, but no money ever reached me.

When I insisted, they eventually said they would send me £100 now, and when I questioned them about the originally agreed £450, they claimed their manager would call me back. That call never came, even after waiting for over a week.

This company feels completely fraudulent. They do not keep their word, and dealing with them has been extremely frustrating and stressful. I strongly warn others to avoid this company at all costs.

Absolute scam would not even give them one star but no choice took car and same old rubbish aftermarket cat and aparrently a hole in the engine so offered 100.00 which was absolute nonsense,car was collected by GCR waste in Croydon but another buisiness that seems to not exist monies not recieved so steer clear tell everyone you know who wants to scrap their car

THEY ARE A COMPLETE SCAM.
They have taken the car without paying, can’t get hold of them, they are refusing to make payment.
