Amazing product with great customer service and the best technical support I have ever experienced. I have purchased wireless Apple CarPlay for my Mercedes and I can tell you that the product and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. First of all product arrived by FedEx express mail in two days after I placed my order. Than product is solid I have read online some horror stories about products that people purchase off eBay so I decided not to even take any chances with any of these eBay products especially most of them mark that they ship out of China. Navtool to my surprise is actually made in the USA. Product looks like it’s made in the USA 100%. Lifetime warranty is just an amazing feature that is totally free. I’ve been using it for the past three months works without a hiccup and honestly I have my Escalade that came factory with CarPlay and a half to get into the car and connect cable every time and the fact that NavTool is wireless it’s really amazing. Some of the things like factory stern will controls operate on the interface as well as factory microphone can be used nothing like that I have seen with any other products that I have researched. The fact that I’m not required to install install a microphones like all of the products that I looked at otherwise required me to install a microphone is an amazing feature on its own

NavTool video interface with Apple CarPlay is absolute blessing. This is my second navtool now that they have released one with wireless Apple CarPlay I had to upgrade my wired version. Honestly it’s amazing that I can get into the car and have Apple CarPlay without phone being connected to the car. I just got into the car phone is in my pocket I start the car and car place on my screen I can make and receive calls. Navigation system is amazing through wireless Apple CarPlay even if I program destination in my house when I get into the car I open Google maps and it asked me if I want to navigate to a destination that I have entered previously. I am amazed by the fact that they have support available on Sunday it’s really really nice that I can get somebody to help me on my only day off and honestly the video manuals are very easy to follow along but I did have to call them one time to ask a question and I was surprised that somebody was there on Sunday. Product is highly recommended for anybody that is looking to get Apple CarPlay specifically because not only it’s made in the USA but it has a lifetime warranty. Since this is my second navtool I am very happy with it And looking forward to getting one for my wife’s car as soon as my tax refund comes back.

Rep said I would not be happy with 5” screen saved hundreds of dollars

In my 34 years of engineering and technical writing, this is the worst company I have come across. Yes... I purchased directly from Navtool and have the appropriate documents to confirm. They indicate they have "technical support". this amounts to nothing more than a person on the end of a chat line copy and pasting canned responses every half hour in an attempt to help. Have a look at their manuals ( oh wait.. they won't post them) and install videos before you consider using them. This will give you a good indication on the quality of their product. Sorry I just could not give a no star rating.

Basically I was thinking that I want to get CarPlay for my car couldn’t find solution. When I found this I thought it was too good to be true so I said I’m not going to buy it. Then I went to Best Buy to put in a whole new rate in my car would like built-in CarPlay and all the other bells and whistle‘s. Best Buy representative told me it’s impossible to do because my car cannot get aftermarket radio. But to my surprise I was recommended to get this into my car. I’ve ordered CarPlay from NavTool got it within couple of days. Brought it to Best Buy they installed it within couple hours and now I have wireless CarPlay in my car that works truly amazing . That’s by representative also explained to me that my car was due to the fact of CarPlay is only inside of my iPhone. So basically doesn’t matter whether you change the radio factory CarPlay or navtool it’s all the same thing.

So far I’ve been using it for over a month every time I start the car my phone is in my pocket my CarPlay on my screen I don’t even take it out of my pocket anymore.

Highly recommended product because my car dashboard stayed the same I control it from my touchscreen it’s basically makes me feel like I got a brand new car.

Navtool 6.0 with wireless CarPlay for my Acura TLX 2016 is what I got and used for the past 45.

Product was easy to order paid with a credit card and received it couple of days later.

Very nice packaging for the product you can write a waste of the product is made in the USA and the box reflects with a big American flag.

There is a QR code on the interface that you can scan to get direct access to support which was tremendous help especially apparently they are open late hours because I was doing this upgrade
after I got home from work.

Installation is extremely simple you just got a match the plugs in the back of the radio which is nothing complicated especially if you do puzzles all day long with your kids lol.

Some of the pleasant surprises that I Enjoyed compared to the other products that I have seen online is that I was on the impression that he will need to install an external microphone but you actually don’t there is no microphone and the kids and it’s uses vehicles built in microphone. The other thing that was really neat is that I did not have to connect anything to my AUX port in the car, Everything else I have seen online required that connection but this is already done for you in the back of the radio as I was explained by the tech support department.

Wireless CarPlay is very nice because I get into my car and I have the phone in my jacket pocket I don’t even have to take it out.

Another interesting setting that I found extremely extremely amazing is automatic apple CarPlay mode.

And the biggest surprise of all was that I was able to use my steering wheel controls for music and phone calls which after doing lots of research left me an impression that it’s not possible to do. So basically CarPlay is controlled just like I would do it in any other car that I have seen with factory CarPlay

I was previously using a competitor product that was not working since day one. They replaced it and it was still not working. But I really wanted CarPlay and I got navtool 6.0.

Long story short it works without any problems or glitches. You can clearly tell that the product is made specifically for the car.

I drive a Cadillac Escalade 2015 that did not have Apple CarPlay in that year, the competitor unit That I had installed was kind of by guess Universal. This one you can see specifically made for the car.

The product was truly plug and play I like the competitor product that I had previously in the car with NavTool I did not have to run anything to auxiliary jack the audio was pre-wired., Microphone no longer required to be external like the competitors product that I had installed before.

I’m glad that I purchased NavTool and I am glad that the product is really made specifically for the car and not something that I have to hack into the car.

The previous module that I purchased, Not only that I had to connect to products together to make it work and then run wires all over the car and install microphones etc. it was a true nightmare.

This was all in one product plug and play into the car and that’s it it’s just really makes me smile as I’m writing this review.

I highly recommend the product it’s amazing and nothing like it exists as far as I can tell, all the other companies that I contacted they all required two or three modules connected in the car instead of one like NavTool offers, they all required to install external microphone with NavTool I can use car microphone, they all required to run a Wire to AUX with NavTool I don’t have to do that

Just received navtool 6.0 with wireless Apple CarPlay and it’s amazing. First of all I was a little bit skeptical prior to purchase reading some of the reviews online but then I realized during my process exactly why everybody is complaining. This is very simple don’t expect it to install it in one minute just like a professional. It takes time to understand the product. Basically what I thought that it didn’t work I contacted them and ask them a question that would give me an answer and then Even tell me where to look in the manual. Basically all the answers were in front of me from the get-go but I didn’t read the manual I just quickly skim through it.

So this ia actually amazing product, it has digital audio from what I can understand and the audio plays super clear super loud.

In my Acura MDX I am able to use my factory microphone I didn’t have to install any external microphones.

I am able to answer the calls and call up Siri and control my music all through the steering wheel this is pretty amazing because my friend purchased a competitor product and he does not have this feature and the audio is much lower.

Delivery was lightning fast I ordered on Monday and got it on Wednesday, FedEx express and I didn’t pay pay for it.

Product is made in the USA and that’s super amazing on top of that you can see the quality because I see my friends product that he bought from another company that is made in China I believe and it has me asking questions.

I’m riding the review after I’ve been using this product for approximately month and a half and the in reality it works 100% as advertised.

There was one glitch but iOS 15.2.1 that was released yesterday fixed it so it wasn’t on their side if you read iOS 15.2.1 updates you will see It’s fixed the issues that CarPlay had inside the iPhone, so I recommend updating your iPhone to a minimum iOS 15.2.1

They finally shipped out the product on 12/9
I received the product on 12/14

Their website says they have a 14-day return window. Don't listen to it, they have no return window. Will not accept a return, in fact, there literally isn't an option when I attempted to fill out a form just to return it.

Oh, did you catch that? To return an item, you have to fill out a form on their horribly designed website, which hides it well. After the form, I presume it goes to someone else to check the form before just issuing the return? Such a bs way to waste time to then deny even more returns. If you have already purchased one and are coming here to see if the experience is the same, I am sorry. If you have not already purchased from them, do not. Find something else.

Do not buy unless you are 10000% sure you will use the item. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service experience, will not accept returns. Product might work, didn't get that far.

After looking through the other reviews, fearing others may have experienced the same as me. I can't begin to understand how childish the owner or whoever their customer service rep is.

This is not how you build a business. Do not buy. It is not worth any hassle you WILL experience. I don't know what more to say than just don’t.

The navtool initially didn’t work after installation so I called tech support and the representative was patient and explained where so had gone wrong. I made the corrections and the navtool started to work but there were 2 issues not working properly. The tech rep was patient and worked with me to solve these problems completely, even going so far as to update the software of the car model for the unit to work correctly. The unit is now working perfectly and it’s all because of the patience and diligence of the tech rep to get the job done and make sure the customer had a fully working system.

bought an apple carplay module for my daughters Acura, purchase was smooth and received product but hadn't opened yet and then they sent an email about the new wireless module available. Tried to call company to return the one I just bought and purchase the new one but their phone was having issues (after reading reviews going back 2 years they act like they are having phone problems to end the call) started a chat on their website and set up return. they sent a text about my phone call and I purchased the new one with the promise it would ship following week that was 10/30/2021. Sent original module back in and on 11-17-2021 I hadn't received refund or new unit. Checked the tracking for return and it was received by them on 11-9-2021....attempted to call during business hours but no one answered, received a text again asking if they could help explained that I was looking for my refund and the new product I had purchased....they told me I had done the return improperly and wouldn't refund my money (this is also a common theme in other reviews) Felt shady so I checked the BBB website and saw the F-rating and lots of complaints about the same thing and the product not working and their attempts to delay past return period, so now I'm concerned and want to just cancel both orders (both are still in their posession) now they accuse me of wanting to sue a billion dollar company for millions? I try to explain that I just want my money back but they say they will not cancel my pending order and refund my money....next they ask me to notarize my text messages with them? we keep texting and finally they agree to refund my money, ship the products and then turn me over to collections. I'm good with that, just want my $1100.00 they promised to refund

If you read other feedback forums you will find much more complaints than on trustpilot. Unfortunately, I just looked at the NT homepage and thought these very positive postings would be enough recommendation to buy there. Big mistake !

Before you buy read the Terms and Conditions for returns first ! If you read the refund policies it is obvious why you have no chance of getting a refund the moment you have accepted the package and opened it, particularly if the price is reduced as many items on this webpage are.

I bought a gmbox VIM from Navtool for a Cadillac STS 2007 that arrived with an opened package (inside the shipping box e.g. not opened by customs or so) and looked totally different from what they showed on their webpage. The picture on the Website showed 2 video connectors, the one I got had none. I sent the picture and contacted the helpdesk and was told that the model had changed and that this was what I had ordered ! Worst of all it doesnt work at all. Black screen. No wiring diagram to check the connectors.No manual. NT told me it is plug and play. Doesnt need a manual. The confirmed that the model is right for my application and I had installed the right software, but refuses to take back the device.
The connectors fit ok so it must be the electronics that are at fault.

When I contacted the helpdesk they droped the phone on me when I described the problem (I'm a native English speaker and calmly explained what the problem is) When I contacted the chat the lady posted "tech support is busy, please wait" which I did, after some time I asked if I had been forgotten and the lady went "absent"

Navtool does not accept paypal and is not on Ebay. Guess why.

I wonder how they seem to keep getting away with this kind of behaviour.

Claiming I did not buy from the "real NavTool.com" is such a nonsense. I provided proof of purchase to Trustpilot. And I will not waste further time and money on Navtool. End of communication.

Apple CarPlay on my factory screen, amazing that I thought that only new cars have Apple CarPlay. My dealer was assuring me that I need to trade in my car to have Apple CarPlay and android auto. I feel like people live on a different planet. Simple Google search revealed this company called NavTool. I went online and checked out their YouTube videos and place an order. I have arrived to my NYC home in three days.

Few things to note product is made in the USA. Amazing warrantee that is not one not two years not 10 years but lifetime. Many great products available for accessories such as adding front and side cameras.

Installation is 100% plug and play so basically if you are a little handy like myself you should have zero problems installing it.

I was doing installation late at night after work and I was amazed that I was able to reach their support and they provided me help and I was able to send a video through their website to show them to travel I was having and they gave me the settings I need it within five minutes truly amazing when you do installation at midnight.

The only thing now that I want to add is a Roku or fire stick to watch my favorite shows while I wait for my wife to do her nails.

Awful experience with this company. Trying to install a video interface from 2018, which came with zero documentation in the box. No problem, I’ll just check online. Hmm, same thing, no manuals. Ok… let’s call customer service or tech support. Nope, phone # just hangs up. Weird, well last but not least let’s try messaging their “support agents”. Got a reply with a link to a YouTube video, which was helpful except for the fact that when I hooked up the interface, it gave out a few puffs of smoke and smelled like an electrical fire. Oops. Maybe time for an RMA? Nope, because their website is broken (RMA form goes to a broken TypeForm) and chat support doesn’t care. I’m not surprised to see such awful ratings when comparable products are available at half the cost on AliExpress with better documentation to boot. Hopefully this review saves someone from wasting their money on a useless product from a joke of a business.

I was browsing through the web looking for screen mirroring for my 2017 Cadillac ATS, during my search I found navtool, I’ve never heard of them before & so I did my due diligence on this company, I found a ton of bad reviews HOWEVER, I chose to take a chance because from what I read about the product itself, all of it made sense to me, I’m kind of tech savvy, not too much but I understand things, I ordered the navtool interface that is Apple CarPlay READY because my car already has CarPlay, ready means it’s prepped for the CarPlay module along with android auto, this interface has 360 camera input meaning front, rear , left , right & rear, I feel the need to clarify to the fullest because it looks like people order products without knowing anything about the product, then blame the company for it not working properly due to misuse, this also has wireless mirroring meaning your iPhone/android could be mirrored to the screen, not to be confused with CarPlay. I can attest to this module being 100% plug & play at stated in YouTube videos & is a quick install once you gain access to the car modules. It does not come with paper instructions HOWEVER, the owner made it easier & provided videos elaborating everything, I texted him with questions & then immediately found the answers in the videos. I would definitely buy products from navtool & I’d give this module more than 5 stars if I could!

First let me tell you about the product ordering, I have order it from their website very simple.

If you want to have the Interface order on their website you can ask them for a coupon code, if they cannot give you want you can search one online.

I was able to locate one that is 15% off, which is a pretty nice coupon because it takes almost $80 of your purchase.

They used to have some percent coupon all over, but I was able to locate one that is 15%

Now when it comes to shipping if you choose their free math that it gets shipped via FedEx make sure your FedEx. So just this way you know what to expect. However I do like FedEx because they deliver pretty fast and they are always on time. Unlike other companies who deliver whenever they feel like delivering packages and it’s not even guaranteed they will deliver it. So FedEx is pretty good.

When you receive a package and you open it you will find that the interface has a QR code you can scan the QR code to get fast contact with them. It’s a special QR code that allows you to contact them pretty fast and skip the wait.

Another thing that is amazing about scanning the QR code as I was not sure about a few things and it allows you to send a video to them and figure out if the question you have in fact is a legitimate question or it’s just because I had no previous experience installing it.

So my vehicle is 2017 without navigation. Regardless of that the vehicle is still equipped with a factory joystick basically I looked at 2019 that my friend has and compared to this one it is absolutely identical when you add Apple CarPlay/android auto supplied by Navtool.

The way I am using this is the following, I have my personal iPhone, then my job provides me with an android and sometimes they send me directions on where I need to go to my android device so I’m able to plug-in either one to my car and automatically it will show me either Apple CarPlay or android auto.

The interface is also equipped with HDMI port because from time to time I have to wait around between the jobs so I have connected Apple TV through the HDMI port.

However the problem with Apple TV is that it has to have a power outlet, so I had to go out and purchase a power converter for my vehicle and that power converter is a little noisy.

Now I am planning to purchase Amazon fire stick and use it because it only requires USB power.

For Internet I am simply using the Internet hotspot on my phone. Or sometimes I was pulling into the parking lot in front of Starbucks and use their Wi-Fi. Just make sure you find parking close to the entrance.

Product installation was pretty simple they provide you with a YouTube video. That YouTube video is a follow along video basically I was watching the video pausing the video doing what is shown in the video as I never installed anything into it this car before but I am considering myself to be pretty handy.

Installation is fairly simple I do recommend testing everything before you put the vehicle back together. I forgot to put an HDMI cable so I had to take it apart again. So do yourself a favor and check everything before you close the car up, that also remember to put all the connectors back in place I forgot to reply to one of the connectors so I had to take it apart to replug it.

Apple CarPlay and android auto basically works as expected on the factory staff of the car using factory joystick if you compare your used car like mine with out factory CarPlay with a car that has factory CarPlay it’s absolutely identical. As I have learned that Apple CarPlay and android auto the entire software runs only inside your smart phone.

What I personally like about this is that the product is made in the USA end it comes with a lifetime warranty. Also it was recommended by my Acura dealership as the only product that is apparently allowed to be sold in the dealerships around the country. So that gave me confidence that if dealership install it and they tried the products I am also going to trust it. I’ve been using the product for almost 2 months and at this time there are no complaints or issues whatsoever.

My friends that have seen it think it was factory installed because everything is hidden behind the radio out of sight a new plug in your phone basically as if it was factory.

Don't buy from this worthless company. If there's any problem, bad response and most of the time they don't communicate at all. I'm waiting for already half a year and still no respons/action/solution after appr. 30 e-mails. Support is a real disaster. Leave it and spend your money elsewhere!

At the end of the day my 2015 on Acura TLX now has an Apple CarPlay and works basically identical to what I have seen in a 2020 cars.

It is truly amazing to have this upgrade to my car.

If you are running into any problems during installation, you simply scan a barcode on the interface and you get access to tech-support team.

We have both in our family iPhone and android, As always Apple is just pretty, android is very regular.

Device is also equipped with HDMI, so we were able to connect Apple TV device to the Navtool, it’s pretty cool to have it.

We also have installed front camera. full parallel parking

I purchased a video in motion interface early in 2020. Installed it in my car and the automatic reverse did not function. Support is very bad. Covid Hit and gave them a break as no one was working. I was told in the Summer of 2020 that a ticket has been opened. I keep trying to call, text or email every few weeks hoping for an update. I do not get replies and have not gotten an answer to date. I asked for refund and have been ignored.

Take a look at all the negative reviews. They are all verified. I provided chat logs to Trust Pilot who reviewed the content and verified. If you look at all the negative reviews they will just copy and paste the same reply to negative reviews.

Reach out to me if you want further proof. Spend the money on a reputable company.
